I Got Reincarnated as the Scummy Dude Who Sends NTR Video Letters to Otaku Guys in Erotic Manga, But When I Tried to Steal His Girlfriend, I Accidentally Hooked Up with Her Twin Sister Instead - Chapter 10
Chapter 10: Something’s Off with Her
“Can I stay over at your place tonight, Nedori-kun?”
It happened the day before Golden Week started.
I was eating a bun I bought from the school store with Otaku-kun during lunch break when, out of nowhere, a message from Yui popped up on my phone.
“Whoa?!”
The suggestion was so out of left field I almost got a nosebleed. Way too exciting, like, come on.
“Nedori-kun? What’s up?”
“Nothing, seriously.”
“Oh? Anyway, about Golden Week plans… if you’re free, maybe you and me could—”
Right as Otaku-kun was starting to say something, my phone buzzed again. Another message from Yui.
‘I already got permission from my family, so don’t worry. It’s a nice long break, and I really wanna talk to you more, Nedori-kun. Is it okay if I come over?’
No way in hell I could say no to that. I replied yes basically instantly.
“Alright, done.”
“Nedori-kun?”
“Sorry, what were you saying?”
I tilted my head, and Otaku-kun looked super disappointed, like obviously.
“Never mind. You’re probably busy over Golden Week anyway, right?”
“Huh? Nah, my schedule’s not that packed. Especially the second half—”
“Takuya! I’m starvingggg—”
Before I could finish, this super bright voice lit up the whole area.
Otaku-kun and I leaned over the desk to look—it was Aoi, clearly plotting to steal a bite of his bread.
“Stop it. That’s my yakisoba bun.”
“Come on, come on, just a little. It’s not gonna run out or anything.”
“It is gonna run out!”
“But like, childhood friend tax, y’know?”
“‘Childhood friend tax’ isn’t even a real thing. You’re the only one who says that, Aoi.”
“Ehhh, gimme just one biiiite pleeease〜”
She opened her mouth wide and lunged right at Otaku-kun.
Watching from the side, it was so sweet I was like, just get married already.
But the rest of the class was totally used to their lovey-dovey routine by now—no one even glanced over anymore.
Those two pulling rom-com stuff was just normal everyday life in this classroom.
“…”
Still, Aoi didn’t seem to care about me at all.
Personally, that thing on the rooftop the other day was still kinda hanging over me and it felt super awkward, but to her it probably wasn’t a big deal.
——Be careful around Yui, okay.
That’s what she warned me about. But honestly, nothing’s really happened.
If there’s anything I gotta watch out for, it’s how hard it is to actually get Yui to go home.
She keeps trying to stay over right away, so holding her off takes everything I’ve got.
“Ahh… my yakisoba bun…”
In the end, Aoi apparently devoured the whole thing.
Tough break, Otaku-kun.
But staring at my melon bread like that with those puppy eyes is totally unfair.
Even if you beg, I’m only giving you one bite. If Aoi gets jealous it’ll just be a hassle.
※
“Man, I’m starving.”
After school I headed home holding my stomach.
I ended up giving Otaku-kun half my melon bread anyway. That’s why I was so hungry now.
Why’d I do it? Well, I felt kinda bad. Lately I’ve been way too caught up with Yui and kinda neglecting him.
I really gotta reflect on that.
“Whoa?”
I was thinking of grabbing something on the way home when Yui messaged me right then.
Apparently she was stocking up on food for Golden Week.
She said there was enough for a whole week, so I didn’t need to worry. What a thoughtful, perfect girlfriend.
Feeling all happy, I practically skipped home, super excited.
“Whoa?”
On the way I ran into those three yankees I kinda know.
“What’s up with them?”
They were on their knees on the ground, leaning against a park bench, heads down like something was seriously wrong.
From far away I couldn’t tell exactly, but they looked scared out of their minds.
Maybe they got messed with by some really bad dudes?
They don’t actually look it, but they’re not that hardcore delinquent.
They break school rules just to test how much guts they’ve got.
That’s the kind of weirdos who get a kick out of it.
They follow actual laws, keep basic human manners, but school rules? Nah.
Doesn’t make sense, right? They’re not really bad people deep down, but they’re not good guys either.
Just this weird in-between thing.
“Whatever.”
Right now I wanted to see Yui way more than deal with them.
I pretended I didn’t see them and hurried home at a jog.
Finally got to my front door, reached for my key—
“Whoa?”
Then I heard footsteps from inside, and the lock clicked open.
The door swung open and there was Yui, still in her school uniform.
“I’m home!”
“…Welcome back.”
Huh? I said it all cheerful, but Yui’s reply sounded kinda dark.
She was looking right at me, but it felt like her eyes were staring somewhere far away…
“What’s wrong?”
“Just come inside for now.”
She ignored my question, grabbed my hand quick, and basically dragged me into the living room.
“Whoa?”
But something was seriously off with the room.
It was normal when I left this morning, but now the place had changed in a way I couldn’t ignore.
Specifically, there was this iron chain thing attached to the edge of the bed. Clearly not normal.
“…Yui?”
“Golden Week starts tomorrow. So there’s no need to leave the house.”
“Whoa? Yeah, true, but what’s that chain got to do with anything?”
“Does it bother you?”
“Of course it bothers me.”
Her voice stayed low. In her eyes I could see my own confused face reflected back.
What the hell is going on?
Right when I thought that—
“Nmm…”
“Whoa?!”
Yui suddenly shoved me down hard.
My back hit the soft bed, and at the same time her hot tongue pushed into my mouth.
Our saliva mixed, forcing me to feel every bit of her presence.
Because of that, I didn’t even notice at first.
Didn’t notice the hard iron things clamping around both my wrists.
“Whoa?”
When our lips finally parted, I checked around.
I was flat on my back on the bed, pinned under her.
And both my wrists had handcuff-like things on them. No matter how much I tried to move, I couldn’t budge at all.
“…Yui? This is some kinda joke, right?”
“It’s not a joke. I’m serious. Because I’m seriously planning to keep you locked up.”
Yui said it with a faint smile.
That smile sent a cold shiver straight down my spine, but I couldn’t look away no matter what.
“Locked up…?”
“Yeah. Starting today, we’re one and the same.”
There wasn’t a hint of joking in her voice. She was dead serious about keeping me locked up.
“But why?”
“The reason’s simple. I wanna see every single part of you, Nedori-kun.”
“Every part?”
“I wanna know absolutely everything about you. So I’m gonna ask a lot of questions. And until you answer them all… I’m keeping you locked in this room…”
“—!”
Right then sweat poured down my forehead.
This is bad. I gotta call for help. My whole body was screaming alarm bells. My heart pounded like crazy, my breathing got all messed up, it felt hard to even breathe.
This is seriously bad! Absolutely bad!
If that’s the case, there’s no way to fight back anymore. No escape at all. Everything’s already too late.
“So, first question.”
She looked down at me like she owned me, those pitch-black eyes locked on.
Then in this calm, steady voice, she asked it.
“Nedori-kun, you are…………”
“Who?”
