I Got Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble, and When I Tried to Create an All-Male Academy to Avoid a Bad Ending, for Some Reason the Gender Ratio Reversed? - Chapter 36-37
Chapter 36: Morning After
I woke up, and the light sneaking in through the gap in the curtains was super bright.
“………Hm?”
Just the sound of sparrows chirping echoed around. I rubbed my eyes while still half out of it. My body felt weirdly heavy, and even though I’d just woken up, I was already worn out.
“……Oh, right.”
When I lazily turned my eyes toward the inside of the blankets, there was Fran lying there completely naked.
Looks like we ended up falling asleep without even putting underwear back on. I barely remember the second half, so we were probably both just exhausted.
While I was thinking that, I reached out to pick up the clothes that had fallen on the floor, and then—
“Good morning, Ol-sama.”
The door opened and Rose appeared.
It was a voice I heard every day, but somehow it sounded kinda cold.
“……!”
I jerked my head up right away.
She silently stared at our situation for a second, and when her eyes landed on the underwear, she pressed her hand over her mouth.
And in the next instant, she hit me with this insane deadpan glare.
“Looks like you had quite a bit of fun last night, huh.”
“Why would you even know that?”
“If you make noises that loud, anyone would notice. Plus, there’s plenty of evidence right here.”
She flicked her eyes toward the underwear for a moment.
“No way that’s—”
I mean, sure, the underwear was lying around, but I swear we tried our absolute hardest to keep it quiet.
There’s no way the whole place heard everything… that’s just impossible to believe.
“You’re kidding me……”
“I seriously thought the walls were gonna start creaking.”
Rose just stated the facts in this flat tone.
“Ol-sama really is a total womanizer, isn’t he.”
“……………………”
I had nothing to say back. No denying I did it with Fran.
“Sigh… I thought animals had gotten in here or something.”
“Wha—”
Rose shrugged like she was totally done with me. My face felt like it was gonna explode from embarrassment.
If I could, I’d just pull the blanket over my head right now.
But Fran was sleeping so peacefully inside the blanket, so doing that would probably just create even worse misunderstandings, so I couldn’t move.
“……No excuses left, huh.”
“It’s true. Like, way overdue, honestly.”
Then Rose’s expression softened and she gave this gentle smile.
“Congratulations. You two are finally together, right?”
“……Th-thanks.”
“Now the marquis house is safe too.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Isn’t it obvious? Personally, I’d love to raise a little girl.”
“Rose!?”
“Of course twins would be fine too. Knowing you two, you’re probably gonna have a ton of kids anyway. This is where my skills as a maid really get tested.”
“You’re jumping way too far ahead!”
Getting suddenly hit with baby talk was kinda overwhelming. I’ll take responsibility, sure, but I haven’t exactly pictured it clearly yet.
“And why are you the one raising them anyway, Rose!”
“Isn’t it obvious? My family has served the Ireland house for generations. Just like my mom raised you, Ol-sama, I’m gonna raise your kids.”
“You’re really okay with that, Rose?”
“What are you even saying? Of course I wanna raise them!”
She shot me this intense, powerful stare. She was dead serious.
“I want to raise Ol-sama’s children. So please keep doing your best and don’t lose to Fran-sama’s love, okay?”
“……Y-yeah, got it.”
I didn’t really know what to say, so I just nodded for now.
Rose looked satisfied and smiled warmly, looking genuinely happy.
“Well then, excuse me. I’ll go prepare your bath.”
She said that and turned on her heel. Her maid dress swayed lightly as she walked to the door, then she paused.
“Oh, and one more thing.”
She looked back just once and gave this meaningful little grin.
“Next time I’ll set up a soundproof barrier.”
“……………………Y-yeah.”
“Don’t worry. Now you can go all out and express your love without holding back.”
“…………………………Thanks for looking out.”
Right after that, the door closed with a soft patan.
That sound felt weirdly loud, probably ’cause the room was so dead quiet.
“Phew……”
I looked up at the ceiling and let out a long breath.
I felt completely drained all of a sudden. Yesterday’s exhaustion still hadn’t gone away, so honestly I just wanted to sleep more.
But if I stayed in bed here I’d probably end up skipping the academy on momentum alone. Thinking that, I forced myself to get out of bed with sheer willpower.
“Mmm…… Ol-sama, more… more please……”
But then something grabbed my hand and stopped me.
It was Fran. She was breathing softly and peacefully, but her grip on my hand wasn’t letting go at all.
And she was mumbling something in her sleep.
“——!!”
Just looking at her like that made last night’s memories flood back whether I wanted them to or not, so I quickly looked away.
“……Gotta keep pushing… gotta keep pushing.”
I desperately muttered that to myself and did my absolute best to endure.
…
Still though…
Looking at her happy sleeping face again, I thought—
—this is exactly the kind of happiness I wanna hold onto.

Chapter 37: I’m Being Suspected
Yesterday, me and Fran totally crossed that line.
But since we’ve basically always been together anyway, I figured nothing would really change in our everyday life.
Just head to school like normal, hang out like normal, do everything the same as always.
That’s what I thought, at least…
“……”
The classmates’ stares were seriously stabbing into me.
Lately there’d been a lot of these creepy, almost worshipful looks, but today’s were completely different in vibe.
It felt… like I was being blamed or something.
—Wait, no way… did people find out about me and Fran?
The thought flashed through my head for a second, but nah, no chance. Our house maids maybe, but classmates? No way they’d notice.
I mean, look—we’re acting totally normal—
“Fran?”
Huh? Fran’s skin looks weirdly glowy today.
It’d been all dewy and moist since this morning, and even now in the classroom that glow hadn’t faded at all.
If anything, it looked even brighter.
“What is it, Ol-sama?”
Her expression and tone were exactly the same as usual.
But her cheeks were way too rosy. Could the classmates actually be picking up on something from how Fran looked?
Cold sweat started trickling down my back when—
“Hey.”
Lucina walked over and stared suspiciously at my neck.
“What happened to your neck?”
“My neck?”
I touched it right away when she pointed it out, but nothing felt different.
“What do you mean?”
“Are you doing this on purpose? It’s blatantly bright red.”
Lucina pointed straight at my neck. Since I couldn’t see it myself, I checked my reflection in the window.
And yeah… it looked like a bug bite—super red.
“That’s… looks exactly like a kiss m—”
“Lucina-san?”
Right as she was about to say it, Fran stepped one pace closer with a perfectly sweet smile still on her face.
“You’re imagining things.”
“Huh?”
“It’s probably just the light reflecting.”
“There’s no way that’s—”
“Ol-sama.”
The second she called my name, my back snapped straight like I’d been shocked. There was this… indescribable pressure in her voice.
“Nice weather today, isn’t it?”
“…Y-yeah.”
“Why don’t you go back to your seat?”
“…O-okay.”
I was still worried about my stupid red neck, but since Fran basically had me under her thumb, my body just obeyed her automatically.
“You two… No, never mind.”
Lucina muttered something under her breath before heading back to her seat. I was kinda curious, but the moment Fran grabbed my hand, all my attention snapped right back to her.
Anyway, Fran was in a great mood the whole day. Not just good—more like… satisfied.
The effects from last night were showing way too obviously. Was that a good thing or a bad thing?
Either way, the awkward stares in the classroom weren’t going anywhere.
“……I’m gonna walk around the school a bit.”
“Okay. Please be careful.”
Fran said that with a smile.
The fact that she didn’t even ask why probably meant she was feeling super confident. And there was only one reason for that confidence.
Yeah… this was kinda thrilling.
※
After leaving my classroom, I headed straight to Marilyn’s class.
I figured I should check on her, just in case.
She’s pretending to be a guy at school, after all. I was curious how people were treating her.
“……”
I stood at the door and watched from a distance.
Maris—wearing a wig and fully cross-dressing—was sitting at her desk like normal.
Her look was pretty androgynous, but the aura was definitely male. Her movements looked natural too—if no one told you, you’d never guess she was a girl.
But she was completely alone.
She wasn’t talking to anyone. No one was talking to her. It wasn’t like people were avoiding her on purpose, though.
Everyone around her was treating her like she didn’t even exist. Even though she was literally the only “guy” in the whole class.
—That’s actually kinda rare.
You’d think the girls would be all over her. Especially in this academy—that’s supposed to be normal here.
Maybe the class already figured out she’s a girl?
But… if she’s this isolated, would they even get the chance to find out?
Either way, her presence was basically invisible.
While I was peeking in and thinking about that, a few students started walking toward me.
“””Everything shall be as Orufusen-sama wills.”””
Then several girls dropped to their knees right in front of me and bowed deeply. Probably cult followers or something.
Same old crazy devotion. I hadn’t done anything special, so I still didn’t get why they believed in me this hard, but honestly… I’d kinda gotten used to it, and that scared me a little.
“What’s up?”
“We heard Orufusen-sama was gracing our class with a visit, and we are deeply moved.”
“How can we possibly express this overwhelming feeling?”
“Orufusen-sama… ahh, Orufusen-sama…”
They were all just saying whatever came to mind. It barely even counted as conversation.
“Don’t worry about me. Just go back to your seats and take class like normal.”
“Yes! We will engrave Orufusen-sama’s words deeply into our hearts!”
“You really don’t have to engrave anything.”
I’m just saying normal stuff here.
I gave a wry smile and looked back into the classroom.
And for a split second, my eyes met Marilyn’s.
The moment she saw my troubled expression, her lips curved up in this super obvious way.
I swear I heard a quiet “heh.” It was 100% the kind of smirk that says she’s making fun of me. Pure mockery.
I’d thought this for a while now, but man… she’s got one hell of a personality. Fierce, arrogant, super high-handed.
Despite the color of her hair, she felt more like fire than anything.
But right now, that same girl was facing something bad enough to break her spirit.
No matter what, I had to fix it.
