I Came to a World Where the Concept of Chastity is Reversed, so I Tried to Change my Job to a Playboy, but the Interference is Intense. Please Help me. - Chapter 231: A Week of Idleness
Chapter 231: A Week of Idleness
The day I played around with Umi and Nagi-san in that female slave scenario was incredibly fun.
It felt refreshingly different from our usual routine, so I was completely satisfied with how it turned out.
However, when Shigure and Sakura got back home, they were absolutely furious, puffing their cheeks out and complaining nonstop about how unfair it was.
They demanded that I make it up to them with something special during summer break, and I just agreed to figure it out later.
As for why not the upcoming weekend, it’s because final exams are coming up at the end of the month.
This time around, us boys have to deal with two extra subjects: Japanese, math, social studies, English, health, and PE—though PE is mostly just the practical sessions during class, so it really feels like only one additional burden.
The girls, on the other hand, are facing a much heavier load with Math I, Math A, classics, modern literature, English, Japanese history, chemistry, biology, health, and PE, which comes out to nine subjects if you exclude PE.
I rack my brain trying to remember what my own high school schedule was like, but the details are fuzzy—though I think it was around this many.
Looking back, it seems like I must have put in a decent effort with studying… but honestly, I spent most of my time playing basketball and only crammed enough to dodge failing grades.
Was I really working hard? Maybe it’s better not to dwell on it.
Our high school days were all about goofing off with the guys, shooting hoops, and not much else—no girls in the picture at all, which just leaves a hollow feeling when I think about it now.
In the end, that meant I was left spending the remaining week feeling pretty empty and alone.
Even though I was stuck at home as a student, I half-expected the school to send over some worksheets through Shigure or Sakura for self-study purposes, but nothing like that happened.
“There’s no way they’d bother with that.”
“Exactly, it wouldn’t happen.”
“Really? I figured since I’m home, they’d at least pass along some materials for independent learning.”
“Regardless of the circumstances, boys’ education isn’t tied to the school’s regular curriculum, so they don’t send anything.”
“Besides, Yuki’s pretty much the only boy who even bothers trying to keep up with classes in the first place.”
“Boys get in under special admissions, after all.”
“The school would much rather you focus on building relationships with the girls than hitting the books.”
“Creating extra study printouts just for you would mean pointless extra work for them, especially when they’re already swamped dealing with all the chaos surrounding you.”
“…I’ll just stay put and behave, then.”
“And no sneaking out of the house alone, got it?”
“I won’t even try to crossdress!”
“If you try stepping outside, we’ll chain you up—consider yourself warned.”
“We should probably lock both hands, feet, and even your neck for good measure.”
“I’m not going anywhere! Stop talking about confinement!”
With threats like that hanging over me, I resigned myself to a full-on shut-in routine during the day—playing games in my room, watching TV, and basically holing up until evening.
It got a little lonely at times, but I wasn’t the only one feeling that way.
Shigure and Sakura often mentioned how much they missed having me around at school, and they’d come home extra clingy and affectionate, which made these days feel worthwhile in their own way.
On top of that, Airi has been dropping by every single day for the past week, for pretty much the same reasons.
“Isn’t it ridiculous that I have to come all the way here every day just to see Yukki?”
“It’s not ridiculous at all. You live in a separate house to begin with.”
“I wanna sleep over at Yukki’s place too, though?”
“No way.”
“Why not!?”
“There’s no room.”
“Yukki’s room is huge—just lay out a futon on the floor.”
“We don’t have any spare futons lying around.”
“Then I’ll buy one specifically for sleepovers and have it shipped over! You can just tuck it in the corner of the room.”
“If you’re willing to go that far, I suppose we can make it work.”
“Nishi! This means I get to stay over with Yukki now!”
Airi’s smile is always so adorably infectious whenever I see it.
“You’re planning to crash here every day or what?”
“Is that a problem? It’s basically the same as Sigusigu staying over nightly.”
“I can always hop back home through the window if needed, and Mom’s practically living here half the time anyway.”
“But what are you going to tell your own mom?”
“…Something like, ‘I found a boyfriend, so I’m moving in with him’?”
“…If she knew about Yuki, she might buy it, but to anyone else, that just sounds like you’re running away from home.”
“…Yukki! You gotta help convince my mom!”
“I’d love to at least say hi to her properly, but when could we even make that happen?”
Airi’s mom is a magazine editor, which keeps her insanely busy—she works through the weekends and only takes her days off on weekdays.
Apparently, she prefers weekdays because the crowds are thinner, making it easier to relax and do her own thing solo.
Airi has already told her that I’m her boyfriend and sort of like a husband figure, and she’s even shown her the photos from the magazine shoots.
Still, her mom’s pretty skeptical about the whole thing, wondering if a guy like that really exists.
“It’s super hard to get her to take even a single weekend off.”
“In that case, we’d probably have to wait until summer break starts before we get a real chance.”
“…Yeah, you’re probably right.”
“Well, one or two nights here and there should be fine, right? You’ll just have to tough it out until then.”
“Ugh… at least call me at night or something~”
“Alright, alright—we’ll do video calls on Beam.”
“You absolutely promise? If you forget, I’ll come drag you over myself!”
“And then what…?”
“Take you back to my place.”
“That’s obviously not happening.”
“No fair! It’s not right that I’m the only one separated from Yukki!”
She dramatically flops onto the floor and starts kicking her legs in a full-blown tantrum…
“I’ll make sure he keeps in touch, so relax.”
“Really!?”
“Just one minute.”
“That’s way too short! At least 120 times longer!”
“Sigh… fine, you win.”
“Yay!”
“Two hours of you listening in while Yuki and I get all cozy.”
“Demon! Devil! Cold-blooded witch!!!”
“Who are you calling cold-blooded? I don’t need that from someone whose head’s full of fairy tales.”
“Heartless monster! Stone-faced mask!”
“Who’s stone-faced? That’s UmiUmi you’re describing.”
“Sigusigu’s no different—she just acts all cool, but she barely shows any emotions.”
“…Looks like you need to be put in your place.”
“Nyah nyah, stone-face~!”
“Airi!”
Shigure finally loses her patience and grabs Airi by the cheeks, sparking a noisy face-pulling brawl…
Hey, you two are wearing skirts—flailing around on the floor like that means we’re getting a free show of your panties…?
Not that I’m complaining; it’s a feast for the eyes!
“Okay, Yuki-kun, now these horny kittens are really causing a ruckus—let’s head to another room for some Onee-chan boobie time and a nice nap~”
“Sure.”
“Wait a second!”
“No fair!?”
Sakura tries to slyly whisk me away, shifting the chaos onto her and ramping up the noise even more…
All in all, even though I skipped school for the whole week, having Shigure and Sakura around—and Airi popping in like this—kept the loneliness to a minimum.
Now, though… how do I break up this catfight?
