Elmie and the others quickly pressed in on Thalia-san. To be fair, Thalia-san’s words were so shocking that I didn’t know what to respond.

Thalia-san tried to calm the three of them, but Elmie and the others still looked agitated. 

“Everyone, calm down! Let’s hear Thalia-san out first.”

It seemed my words were enough to calm down Elmie and the others a bit. Although I told them to calm down, but I was actually really panicking on the inside too. Well, of course. It was so sudden after all.

While it was true that the priority for my protection had decreased now I had been reduced to a mere healer, but the guild also had to make the party Blue Eternity take on A-rank quests too. The number of A-rank adventurer parties were scarce in this town. I could understand why the Adventurers’ Guild couldn’t afford to keep assigning Elmie and the others to be my exclusive guard forever.

“That’s right. Now we won’t have to worry about those pending quests from the Adventurers’ Guild.”
