“Have you ever been to a love hotel?”

“Do you think a v○rg○n like me would have?”

We started walking down a small alley near the station. It was just one street away from the main road, but the atmosphere was different. It felt kind of hidden and damp, like a back alley compared to the bright and open main street. The noise from the station was gone, and it felt like we had stepped into another world.

“Yeah, that’s a silly question. By the way, I haven’t either.”

“Well, anyone under 18 can’t legally enter a love hotel anyway, so it’s normal not to have one.”

“Then… wouldn’t this be risky for a politician’s son?”

“Maybe. It’s like sneaking a drink. But see? I’m wearing a hat and mask, so I don’t think anyone will notice.”

I’m not famous myself. At school and in the neighborhood, people just know me as “ah, that politician’s son.”

“Should we skip the love hotel?”

Shinozaki suddenly looked worried.

“No, that would also be risky. And… someone as cute as Shinozaki shouldn’t lose your first time in a place like that.”

Shinozaki can’t host anyone because of her family situation. So, that leaves us with very few options.

“If we think about the future… I guess we’ll need a room just for this.”

“…A room just for that?”

“Calling it a s○x room sounds weird, but yeah, basically.”

“…You already have a place in mind?”

“Sort of.”

“What kind…?”

“It’s a bit early to say, but when I go to college, I’ll probably live alone.”

“And?”

“My dad keeps nagging me, saying I should practice living on my own first instead of relying on my mom for everything. So if I want, he might set up a practice room for me… which could double as a place for us.”

My dad likes to make me struggle a little. Since he worked hard to get where he is, he doesn’t want me growing up spoiled. That’s why he pushes me to have top grades and behave perfectly. It’s his way of saying, I worked hard, so you should too.

But if I use that to my advantage, I could get a room for the two of us to relieve stress. It’s perfect.

“I see… if we can make that happen, it’s a really good setup.”

“Yeah… but can you wait until the room is ready? Today’s plan would have to be canceled, and I don’t even know when it’ll be ready.”

“It’s fine. I’ll wait if that’s the case.”

Shinozaki nodded casually in agreement.

“As I said before, it was my mistake to plan this so early. Hashiguchi-kun’s family makes it hard to do things like this openly, and I assumed we’d use a love hotel.”

“No, it’s my fault too, for not speaking up…”

We both agreed. It was a mess we made together.

“Alright then… can we just call it a day for now?”
