“It’s the rainy season, huh…”

On Monday morning, the news announcer on the TV in the living room declared that the rainy season had officially begun.

Peeking outside through the slightly open curtains, rain was falling steadily, showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.

“Looks like our evening stroll is off for tonight.”

Runa, who was preparing breakfast, chimed in.

Their nightly walks, now a routine, would have to be canceled due to the rain.

Not expecting to get a clear answer if he were to press further about why she thanked him, Aoi decided not to ask and simply walked with Runa to school.

The rain was falling steadily, suggesting it would continue for a while, which meant he might not be able to use his scooter for shopping trips.

Although there didn’t seem to be any signs of getting wet, he didn’t push the matter further. 

But today, Runa was acting strangely.

It almost felt as if she were embarrassed to be with someone she liked…
