How to Handle a Yandere Harem - Chapter 22
“Damn… Damn… She found it… She did it in less than an hour… Damn… I overestimated my plan… Now I have to find another good place…”
The words spilled from 【Demon Queen】’s lips in a panic as she paced back and forth, her breath quickening. Her wide eyes were glued to the screen, where her worst fear was playing out.
Elizabeth, with her piercing blue eyes and flowing blonde hair, was interrogating one of the pawns she had planted to spread misinformation. The atmosphere around Elizabeth was terrifying — her aura so intense that the only ones who seemed to notice were the trembling man she was questioning and the panicking 【Demon Queen】 watching from a hidden camera feed.
But to the other customers in the cozy café, Elizabeth appeared calm, a serene figure sipping her tea. The contrast made 【Demon Queen】‘s skin crawl.
“Damn, I need to prepare all my countermeasures immediately…” she muttered under her breath, biting her lip as her fingers trembled.
The seconds ticked away like thunder in her mind, each one a reminder that time was slipping through her fingers. She couldn’t afford to get caught — not by Elizabeth.
“I… I can’t get caught…” she whispered, the fear a near palpable thing in her voice.
【Demon Queen】 launched into action, darting out of her hiding spot like a shadow slipping through the cracks of reality. Her movements were frantic, almost desperate, as she glanced back at the screen to check on Elizabeth’s progress. The man being interrogated was now drenched in sweat, silent terror written all over his face. Elizabeth had gotten what she came for – there was no doubt about it.
With her heart racing, 【Demon Queen】 activated the GPS on her phone. She needed to track Elizabeth’s every move if she was going to stay ahead.
(If she finds me, it’s over… I can’t go back and tell Seda I only delayed Elizabeth by a day. No way I’d get paid enough to even cover my trip!)
As she sprinted through the labyrinthine streets of Tokyo, her thoughts were a chaotic mess. She hated this — hated being on the run — but more than that, she hated the idea of facing Elizabeth.
“Damn, she’s coming fast…” she cursed as her GPS blared in her ear.
[Elizabeth is 120 meters away from you.]
The alert sent a shiver down her spine. She quickened her pace, her feet barely touching the ground as she weaved through the crowd, taking sharp turns at random intervals. She hoped it would be enough to shake off Elizabeth’s pursuit.
[Elizabeth is 100 meters away from you…]
“Damn… how did she get so close so fast…” she breathed, panic bubbling in her chest. She needed a plan, something to throw Elizabeth off her trail, even if just for a moment.
She took a sharp right, ducking into a narrow alley that wound between two tall buildings. The walls seemed to close in on her, the shadows offering some solace.
【Demon Queen】‘s mind raced, pulling every trick she knew to come up with a way to lose Elizabeth.
(I can’t outrun her forever… I need to be smart about this… use the city to my advantage…)
She quickly mapped out the nearby streets in her mind, visualizing each possible route Elizabeth could take.
(If I can create enough distance, I might just be able to pull this off…)
[Elizabeth is 50 meters away from you.]
Her breath caught in her throat. The walls of the city felt like they were closing in, trapping her in a maze she couldn’t escape from.
“This is bad… but with her speed, I need to release the surprise plan now.”
Desperation drove her to a final, risky move. With trembling fingers, she sent out a signal to one of her contacts. 【Fire Master】, an S-rank mage with a burning grudge against Elizabeth, was her last hope. He wasn’t much, but he was good for a distraction.
[Elizabeth is 150 meters away from you…]
[Elizabeth is 200 meters away from you…]
The distance increased, and with it, a small spark of hope ignited in her chest. But she wasn’t foolish enough to slow down. Even with the gap widening, she continued to run, her eyes scanning every corner, every shadow for a potential escape route.
(I need to stay ahead… just a bit longer…)

After several uninterrupted minutes of running, 【Demon Queen】 finally arrived at a small, hidden shelter she had prepared in Tokyo. Her breath was ragged, her heart pounding from both exertion and fear. The GPS on her phone pinged one last time before she hurriedly turned it off.
[Elizabeth is 1 km away from you.]
This was the final warning before she disabled the GPS. The service had been invaluable in keeping tabs on Elizabeth, allowing her to stay one step ahead. But 【Demon Queen】 knew that the same technology that helped her could also be her downfall. If Elizabeth somehow hacked into the system or traced the signal back to her, it would be game over. The GPS could easily betray her position, turning from a tool of survival into a beacon that would lead Elizabeth right to her.
“Damn… how could I have guessed that she would find out everything in less than an hour…”
Her voice trembled as she leaned against the wall, trying to catch her breath. Panic began to creep in, squeezing her chest like a vice. The plan she had so carefully crafted had crumbled before her eyes.
“Damn… curse you all…”
She was about to let out another string of curses when her phone suddenly buzzed with a new notification.
[Notification: Found where Elizabeth’s target is…]
Her eyes widened as she stared at the screen.
“Wel… It look like I got a letter in the sleeve,” the 【Demon Queen】 chuckled mischievously, looking at the screen.
