[Publication 2 Volume Release Anniversary SS ②] How Have You Been? Yui’s Side
On the upper floors of high-rise buildings in America, the glass-covered office of New York City was a little out of place, and a loud Japanese voice echoed.
“Well, Ichinose-kun has broken off his engagement!? What’s more, he’s fired from the company?”
Yui was surprised to hear a message before the start of work.
It was a call from a female employee who was a receptionist at Ichinose Company, who Yui had been doing well for a long time.
“What’s wrong with you, Yui? You speak so loudly in Japanese. Isn’t it a little too early to drink?”
“William, don’t make me look like a drinker. Besides, I don’t like alcohol, it’s just that I like it too much.”
“Hahaha, I’m sure. Yui liked Arata, didn’t she?”
“I told you before that it’s not something I like or what.”
Yui also responds with a mixture of jokes in fluent English to his colleagues’ light talk.
Rather than that, she looked over it again to check the contents, but it seemed that she was not drunk.
So William’s words, “Well, every time we talk about Japan, Arata comes out…” didn’t seem to be heard.
Yui was worried about something about Arata, but on the day of Arata’s wedding, she was stubborn and didn’t ask about the situation at the same time.
Last night, however, she had just confirmed the contact by stirring up a strong cocktail at the bar and contacting him at the same time.
(That’s right. I drank a few cocktails at my favorite bar yesterday, but I don’t think I have that much left… So this is not a joke, it’s true.)
The time difference between New York and Japan is 14 hours, and if New York is morning, it is night in Japan.
Yui confirmed the contact she sent at night after work this morning.
(I can’t do this. I have to go to Japan soon.)
After making the decision, Yui’s actions were quick.
Yui told her boss, James, that she would take the job of establishing a branch office in Japan, which was previously approached, and immediately went on a business trip.
Then, one last thing to check is Yui.
“James, good people are now free. Can I bring them in?”
“Is it the good talent Arata that Yui mentioned before? If a person likes you, I’d love to see it. I’ll leave the discretion to you.”
“Thank you. I promise you I’ll live up to your expectations.”
Yui flicked a wink at James and left the desk.
Now she is ready to bring Arata into the United States.
And soon left the United States.

“Miyoshi-san, if you go back to your country, you should contact him, not me.”
Kyouhei talked to Yui, who was riding in the passenger seat while driving.
“But it can’t be helped. I don’t want my ex-supervisor to contact me all of a sudden and get attracted to Ichinose-kun.”
The hand-wringing gesture reminded her of a girl who had little experience in love, not a career woman.
“That means I don’t care what you think.”
“Did I say anything?”
“Nothing.”
Kyouhei shrugs his head back at the sudden change of Yui’s icy, sharp eyes.
This was a skill that Kyouhei could do because he had survived many hardships.
A common man would have shrunk and lost his words.
“I gave you a dinner ticket for a five-star hotel, so that’s all right.”
“Thank you very much for that theory. It’s a big belly to have a bottle of wine on.”
“Well, not only you, but that girl at the reception desk has taken care of you.”
“They’ll be pleased with this.”
They arrived in front of Arata’s house, having such a conversation.
ーHere they were.
Kyouhei said so and parked his car in front of Arata’s house.
He took his clothes from the trunk of the car and headed straight for the intercom.
“Hey, I’m not ready yet.”
“You shouldn’t hesitate to do this.”
As he spoke, Kyouhei pressed the button on the intercom.
Kyouhei, who confirmed that an electronic sound sounded, began to cut it lightly.
“Hey, Arata.”
“What is it, Kyouhei? It’s unusual for you to come to my house.”
“That’s right. Well, good luck with the rest.”
Kyouhei smiled like a villain who succeeded in mischief toward Yui and left in the car.
This was why they parked in front of the house, not in the parking lot.
Suddenly, outside the camera of the intercom, Yui made a hundred faces, but since she had come all the way to Japan, she decided that she could no longer escape.
She coughs up a lot and adjusts her throat so that she can be seen by adult women.
After making a gesture to rake up her hair, which was also a habit of calming herself, she tried to speak calmly.
“Long time no see, Ichinose-kun.”
(I wonder if my voice is turned upside down, isn’t it…?)
“Miyoshi-senpai!?”
(Hehe, Ichinose-kun was surprised and is fresh and cute.)
“How have you been?”
If this happens, I’ll comfort him.
Now is the only time I’ve got.
