- Having Had My Bride Stolen, I Just Want to Live Peacefully
- Chapter 4 - Ex-fiance’s Side ① After Escaping
“A wedding dress? Is it a photograph of something?”
“What about the camera?”
“The guy is wearing plain clothes, so this is…”
“Don’t you think this is that runaway bride situation?”
“No, this is not a drama. It’s too much of a nuisance if someone actually does it.”
The people in the street were whispering to a pair of men and women.
A woman in a wedding dress, a man in a T-shirt with large letters in the middle of it, and jeans.
Such a unique combination of clothes attracted a lot of attention, and it was obvious to everyone that they had just left the wedding hall.
“Being taken out means breaking off the engagement from the women.”
“Why?”
“She got out of here because she agreed, didn’t she?”
“Certainly. Wow, both of them are so selfish that I want to pull them out.”
Even though they are exposed to curiosity, they don’t care at all.
There seemed to be only two people in the world, and the people around them seemed to be running blind.
It makes them understand that they acted without even thinking that they would cause trouble to others.
“W-wait, Minato-kun… I can’t run anymore.”
“Phew, now that we’ve come this far, we should be all right.”
They stopped and looked around to see if the guards were chasing them.
Himeno, who was able to confirm that their pursuers had not arrived, turned shyly toward Minato.
“We’re out.”
“Ah, I have taken you out.”
Minato says while scratching his head.
“Hehe.”
“Haha.”
“”Ahahahahahahahaha.””
They don’t know what’s wrong with them, but they burst into laughter in the street.
The eyes around them grew stronger and more intense.
“Minato-kun, you’ll make me happy, right?”
“Yeah, leave it to me.”
Now they can only see the future in which they will be happy.
They don’t know that there is a man who, despite enduring loneliness and despair, sincerely bowed to the people who were involved.
Even so, Himeno begins to talk.
“Did you see that shock on Arata-san’s face?”
“I have seen it. That robot, Himeno’s words really shocked me.”
“At first I thought it was good that someone could do anything, perhaps because I was a son of a distinguished family. It seemed rather boring. So I just said it at the end.”
“I don’t think he’s going to look down on anything but himself and make a fool of himself. When I saw Himeno saying this, I felt refreshed too.”
“In exchange for that, Minato-kun taught me only the things I didn’t know, and it’s fun.”
“Really? I don’t think I’m doing anything unusual. Well, it might be exciting for Himeno because you’re an Ojou-sama.”
Then they went on talking and laughing without hesitation.
After settling down, Himeno expresses a little anxiety.
“Do you have any plan for what to do now, Minato-kun?”
“No, I didn’t think of anything. All I could think about was getting Himeno out.”
“Eh, did you only think of me? Come on, Minato-kun!”
Minato was just self-centered and thoughtless, but Himeno didn’t notice it.
She was pleased with the fact that he had only considered getting her out.
“That’s it! Then will you come to my house?”
Minato says as if he had come up with a good idea.
“Eh, is that all right?”
“I don’t mind. My parents are always on business trips overseas, so there’s no one at home.”
“Yay! Let’s go! This is my first time at Minato-kun’s house!”
“Ahaha, you’re such a cute little fellow. Let’s go, then.”
“C-cute…? I’m glad…”
○●○
From then on, they were jesting and finally got to Minato’s house.
“Please excuse me for intrusion.”
“Go ahead… wait Himeno! You need to take off your shoes!”
Himeno hurriedly stopped her from going up to the house with bridal shoes on.
“Huh?”
“Huh? That’s not the case! You take off your shoes when you go home, right? This is not the West.”
“That’s right, but you don’t take off your shoes at the entrance, do you? This is still the front door, isn’t it?”
“No, no, it’s already the hallway from here! Himeno is really natural, though that’s cute.”
“I-I’m sorry.”
Hahaha, Minato smiles and heads to the living room.
(Eh? Isn’t Minato-kun’s house too small? But it’s good to huddle together in such a small place.)
Himeno follows Minato with rude impressions.
Minato’s apartment is not that small.
However, the values of Himeno, who lived in a luxurious house, were unimaginable.
“It’s hard to move in a wedding dress, isn’t it? Here, put this on.”
Minato handed her over a woman’s clothes.
Seeing Himeno’s eyes wide open and as she hardened, Minato continued.
“Oh, this? Mizuki often comes to stay, so she keeps changing clothes. There’s nothing wrong with that, isn’t there? It’s always been normal for a family to stay together since we were kids.”
“Ah, I see. I don’t know because I don’t have any childhood friends, but I guess that makes sense.”
“Yeah, that’s what childhood friends are all about.”
Himeno accepted the clothes with a gloomy feeling.
Himeno, who had finished changing her clothes, suggested that she had regained her mind.
“Minato-kun! Today is a memorable day for the two of us, so can I cook for you?”
“Oh! I’m glad to hear that. Thanks to Mizuki’s cooking, there are plenty of ingredients in the refrigerator, so you can use whatever you want.”
“Okay! Then I’ll use it.”
(That, Mizuki-chan’s name came out again… Minato-kun is supposed to marry me… No, it’s okay. Minato-kun told me that he had found true love.)
A while later.
“Thank you for waiting. I’m done cooking.”
“Ah! T-this is…”
Minato is at a loss for words at the sight.
The things on the table were black matter.
“I’m sorry, but I didn’t know what to do with the kitchen, so I kind of burned it.”
“It’s not as good as burning a little… no, it’s nothing. Thank you for the meal!”
(Come to think of it, she used to cook at a training camp where we all went in the past, but I wonder if Himeno made a dark substance or a muddy mysterious liquid…)
Minato fearfully took a bite of the food(?) in front of them to his mouth, while recalling the unpleasant past.
(Oh no, I can’t eat this!)
He managed to swallow it with patience when he was about to vomit.
Himeno asks with a confident smile without knowing that this is the case.
“So? Is it good?”
“I-it’s delicious… Thank you.”
“I’m glad! I cooked too much… but it’s your beloved bride’s home cooking, so of course you’ll eat it, right?”
“Wha!!”
When he looked into the kitchen, he found that there was a mass production of food that was not at all food.
“…Can you eat it for me?”
“Y-yeah, leave it to me…”
(Wait, wait, wait, I thought it was a joke at that time, but this is tough. Is this every day when we get married!?)
It is obvious that a marriage will not be able to continue with a feeling of love that is only momentum and stimulation.
They began to realize it gradually, but it was too late.
A thick black cloud had spread all over the sky, and it was about to rain.

Man….this translation was rough…like real rough.
I have thought the same since chapter one. It seems like there was no proofreading?
It’s a bit rough, but we can still understand the meanings, still enjoyable. (right?)
I fully expected someone this cold-hearted to be a terrible cook. I literally cannot believe that she hated the MC this much.
Well, enjoy Minato; you get all her flaws. I suppose MC was pressured into marrying her by her father. Her father also fired him, so I guess he has nothing to do with the company anymore.
It was not “her” father, but “his” own father that pressured MC to marry and fired him afterward.
“Her” father was in favor and allowed the marriage. They (her father and her mother) even came to apologize to MC after the escape.
(Or that was what i got from chapters 1 and 2, it makes more sense in my mind).
