Hundreds of golems were already in the field, and with it, hundreds of students were desperately running away from the very danger that these golems poses.

To make sure that I can quickly pass through these many obstacles, I had to lock in. I had to focus with my absolute best. So without hesitation, I pulled out my sword, I took action on the most gathered golems in front of me.

In that instant, I I was able to easily destroy 3 golems below their waist, immobilizing them on the spot.

Reading back to what I remembered in the book, the golems were barely a challenge against the academy.

It was slow moving, it had simple movements, and once a golem was immobilized from the waist down, it could easily be destroy by a simple strong attack if aimed at its most crucial spot, the core. A D-ranked student could easily handle a single golem and escape…

The only thing that puts the academy at a disadvantage was the numbers of these golems as well as its special ability to regenerate. As long as the crazed mage had mana to fuel the golems, and as long as their cores weren’t destroyed, the army wouldn’t stop.

I’ve travelled over half of the field already, and in front of me, I could see the hole on to where those golems were coming out of…and to it, I also saw Professor James Morrison already going against the Crazed Mage at the spot.

‘Good, as long as Professor Morrison keeps him in check, I can easily sneak pass by them.’ I thought as I went and rushed in faster. The longer I waste time, the more the damage is done to the school

By the distance, I could already see the teachers and high leveled students facing the golems, while the low-leveled students were already fleeing from the area.

To think that the story was already moving up to this point, if I had prepared myself better…I could have acted faster. But the point of this story was held at a random day at a random time…I knew it would have happened but I never knew it would happen today.

My body has barely healed right after last nights experience with my brother’s intense training and the Goddam hollow stone…the bastard in that void really fucked me up.

I couldn’t count how many times I died last night…but I felt like I died more than I could have handled. I’m still mentally shaken by it and my body is just as sore as when I left the medical room…nothing’s changed, and I’m being punished for it by this goddam event.

But I can’t complain…not yet at least.

As the clashing noise of both mages went against one another, out by the many countless golems, a group of three students were holding off the golems with everythign that they had.

“How are you holding up Jessabelle?” asked Jason he cuts through a golem’s body and core with just a single slash.

“Just focus on yourself you idiot, these Golems are getting more and more aggressive as they come.” Said Jessabelle in an irritated voice.

“I’m worried, you just got out of the Medical room last night and already, your putting yourself here. This shouldn’t be good for your health.” he said.

“Fuck. Off! I’m fine!” she said as she throw a ball of fire straight through three golems.

“…” without saying anything, Jason simply kept his mouth shut after what Jessabelle warned him. Yet he could not ignore her pale and sweaty expression.

“…” Meanwhile, Audrey was minding her own business as she slashes through golems like they were simply clay.

“…?” and out by the distance, she saw something that was somewhat suspicious.

‘…Who is that?’ she asked to herself as she could see a boy running meticulously through the golems like he was water. With his face covered by a cloth that came from the academy’s design and with his pants that showed the same pattern as any other male school pants, it made her curious as to who this was.

With all the chaos that was happening today, to see something that seemed as odd as that, she had to investigate.

So without hesitation, she followed the masked boy through the floods of golems and to it, Jason saw her leave and tried to call out to her.

“Audrey!?”

But to his shout, she simply ignored him and continued on. While he was yet again pushed bak by the numbers of golems in front of him. With Audrey moving away, his worries were piling on, but he had to focus on the more prioritized. Which was Jessabelle.

‘Ah….I’m sure she can handle herself.’ he thought.

As she followed the masked boy, she noticed that this boy was making his way to the hole.

As he got closer and closer, the clumped up mass of Golems were getting more and more, all to a point that the boy could no longer pass through their bodies, and instead, he jumped off from the ground and skipped on to their heads one by one…

As he finally reached to a point that he was over the hole of the ground, a sudden surge of power was brought out of his body.

[Heavy Rush]

And to that skill, his entire body dove down into the hole like a falling arrow.

Without making any other unnecessary actions, the boy was gone just like so.

Not the professors, nor the mage took notice of his presence by then.

The only person to see it was Audrey who felt more compelled to follow the boy in.

So to the ever growing curiosity, she made the decision to trust her own instinct.

And to this activation of skill, she went in to the hole, as quick as a flash of lightning. But to the intense presence of her skill, it took notice of the crazed mage who was battling the professor.

“Y-you! No Rats!” Shouted the crazed mage as he threw shards of rocks to her direction, but to this attempt, Professor Morrison was able to intervene in his attacks, where he simply countered it by a creating a wall of flame around him and the crazed mage.

It isolated the two by their own presences.

“…You seemed kind of desperate for guarding that hole…is there something there that’s…Important?”

“Heyahh!!” but to the Crazed mage’s reply, he simply threw a rock spears to the professor at quite the speeds.

[Rapid Fire: Ground Axis]

To it, he summoned a magic circle that was able to fire rock spears that were rushing at the professor like a machine gun.

*Ppprrrraaatt!!*

His fire power was intense and non-stop.

But to his attempts at attacking the professor, it was simply countered by a fire spell that had the same magnitude of power.

With the wall of fire put around them, he simply casted pellets of fire bullets pulled from the walls as resources and to his beckon with a voiceless chant.

*Phew!* *Phew!* *Phew!* *Phew!*

To this attack, he was simply untouchable.

“…Phu…its no joke to see why they called you the strongest. But you can’t defeat me…not as you are now.” with that said, the crazed mage simply casted another spell that caused the Professor to be full on his alert.

“!?” because the next thing he knew, his wall of fire was put out and pillars made of black stone were surrounding him.

“This spell is one of my most strongest…in that possession you are in, even with your strongest spell, you are unable to move nor destroy anything for 10 minutes…that is enough for me to get rid of the rat!” said the mage.

In that single spell, the professor was put in his place. Being unable to move from his spot, the crazed mage was then making his way to the hole…seeing as how he was worried that a rat was able to slip into the hole. But before he could come near the hole, another person was able to meet with the crazed Mage.

“Oy, what’s going on James, I thought you were handling this?” asked a person who was holding a 3 meter spear on hand.

“O’riley, deal with him for a bit…just ten minutes. After that, You need to get into the hole…I saw someone run in…It looked like it was Miss Audrey Yagami.”

“What? Are you serious!?” with the person known as Sergeant O’riley standing up front against the crazed mage, he raised his spear and pointed it ot the enemy with a bloodlusted gaze.

“Oi! Trash! Don’t get in my fucking way!” with that said, the crazed mage then pulls out his spells on Sergeant O’riley.

[Rapid Fire: Ground Axis]

*Ppprrrraaatt!!*

And he fired nonstop, clouds of dust and bullets simply exploded from where Sergeant O’riley stood.

“Hah! Fool shouldn’t have stood in my way!” as the mage mocked the expected to be dead person, all of a sudden, he felt his cheeks being pinched by something.

And to this unurging pain, blood suddenly dripped from his cheek.

“!?”

“Damn…I missed.” said a voice that came from the dust of clouds.

As the clouds of dust started to be pushed away by the wind, it was revealed that O’riley was unscathed by the mage’s attack.

“Hmm, Still, are you sure it was Audrey Yagami? Why would she go in the hole?” asked the Sergeant.

“…I don’t know, but just ten minutes, after that, you can go after her.” said the Professor calmly.

“Okay…Lets do this.” as the sergeant said this, all of a sudden, four silver spears suddenly appeared from his back.

[Galahad’s Four tears…]

In this summon of an attack, his presence simply grew to a point that it made the crazed mage sweat in a nervous manner.

“W-who are you?!” asked the crazed mage.

“Just a damned teacher!” as he said this, he threw one of the four spears at the mage. The speed was so fast that it simply broke through the speed of sound and nearing light.

But even with that skill, the mage was suddenly protected by a barrier of strange origins.

“Hmm?…You were able to stop it?” asked the Sergeant.

“Ha….haha….hahahahahahah!” the mage laughs as he was seen unharmed by the spear.

“Tsk.” the Sergeant simply clicked his tongue in annoyance, and to it, he had to see how it was done for his spear to be blocked.

Out a few seconds ago, as Soril was falling into the hole, he could see a number of golems from the side of the wall, climbing up to the surface. Not a single one of those Golems were fast enough to react to his fall, so to it, he was safely falling down.

Ten seconds later, he saw that he was nearing the floor…

“…Okay then.” as he saw it coming closer and closer, he then made his attempt to safely land.

But as he saw below, he noticed that there were a lot of golems down there, so he had to change a way to make sure that he doesn’t gain their attention.

It was then that he simply went and used the same method that would have been used by Jason and his group when they descended down to this hole.

In that use of skill, he fired it straight below to the center of the hole.

As the spear exploded, it caused a lot of dust clouds to cover the area, using that chance, he simply landed down at quite the speeds using the very skill that could help him in his moment.

By bringing out his shield, the moment he landed straight down, he instantly countered the very floor below him, and to this, the impact from his fall simply went against with the very ground.

*THUD!*

But to this attempt, it created a loud sound that resembled a thunder crashing. The sound would have been good enough to catch the attentions of some of the golems, but thanks to the dust of clouds, he was able to keep his cover.

Next, he instantly decided where to move on from his place, using his quickest skill of transportation, which was Heavy Rush, but before he could do so, he suddenly heard something falling from the sky.

“..!?”

And as he looked up, he saw that something has landed rigt next to his side.

*Thud*

The crash was more tempered and controlled, almost like it wasn’t a golem falling down…

“…” as he turned to where that sound came from, it was there, that he saw Audrey Yagami standing before him with a glaring expression. But she was unmoving.

Her mouth was bleeding, and her body was shaking due ot the impact of her crash. With nothing to stop her fall, she simply had to rely on her entire body…still, she stood quite gallantly.

“.…” but Soril had no time to see her figure, because by the next second, a golem’s hand was thrown his way.

“!!” he quickly pulled out his sword, and slashed the incoming hand with ease.

*Swing!*

With that swing, the golem was pushed back. With the chance given to him, he wanted to escape quick, but seeing as how Audrey was standing near him with a shacking body, it only means that she was quite hurt from the landing. She had not yet fully recovered.

“…Damn.” so without hesitation, he put his sword and shield behind and he went for Audrey who was standing quite dazily. He carried her without her consent, like a princess, and to it, he made his way out of the place.

“!?” Audrey was quite surprised by his decision to do so.

By carrying her like so, he jumped over to the deeper parts of the hole…but to this decision, he as meet with a line of golems who were marching their way to the hole up above.

“.…” but he did not fear, despite the large crowds of enemies in front of him, he simply pushed forward. Compared to the monster who he faced in the Stone of Hollow time, the golems were no threat at all.

With their slow movement, and slow reaction, he used it to his advantage.

For each Golem he came be, he simply leaped over them using the heads as platforms. And by making long leaps, he had could pass through with ease.

Although his plans were somewhat disturbed by Audrey, he could not simply stop and return back to the surface that easily…simply going down was much more plausible for him.

‘…If I can make her drink a healing potion, maybe this can help her get back on her own two feet.’ he thought to himself.

‘but first, we gotta find a safe place to hide and rest.’

So with that said, he continued on his way into the deeper parts of the cave.
