Falling in love with my stalker - Chapter 4- His reasons...
I’m elated.
This happiness isn’t the kind one experiences after achieving something; it’s far more profound.
It feels as if I’ve finally acquired everything in my life, and now, I could even face death with contentment. Although I have no desire to die anytime soon, death would no longer bring regret to my soul.
My body felt unusually light, and my heart showed no sign of calming down.
I am now dating Shou-kun.
Yes, the same person I’ve admired for so long is finally my b-bo-boy—
“Takeuchi-san? Everything alright?”
“Yes!” Due to my inner turmoil, I responded to Shou-kun in a hurried manner.
It was silly of me, a sixteen-year-old girl, not to be able to attach that word to my Shou-kun. So, I’ll settle for ‘lovers’ for now. Yes, Shou-kun and I are now lovers!
It was a surreal situation for me. Just this morning, I was content serving Shou-kun in any way possible. I was satisfied seeing his healthy body and radiant smile from afar. I felt fulfilled witnessing how he sometimes tried to call out to me without knowing my identity.
It wasn’t that I intended to remain in the shadows forever, but I wasn’t prepared to face Shou-kun this soon. It was too early for a maiden to reveal herself to her future husband, right?
That’s why I decided to make Shou-kun entirely dependent on me first. Once that happened, I planned to create some distance to make him slightly desperate. In that moment of vulnerability, I would make my grand appearance in his life.
I know it was a cruel plan, but this way, Shou-kun would accept me as his lover without much trouble.
But well, it was all fine until I could be with the person I’ve yearned for.
“Taekuchi-san.” Hearing my name, albeit it’s not my given name, I turned to look at Shou-kun.
God, his eyelashes are so damn hot~
Redirecting my gaze to where his eyes were staring, my mood worsened.
The familiar black Mercedes was awaiting me at the entrance of the school.
I checked the time and it was already nearing four. If not for me informing my maid beforehand, then someone might have come to look for me already. And if I don’t return home within fifteen minutes, my nanny would inform my mother in an instance—which would lead to a situation, that I don’t want to face.
“Shou-kun… I…” I do want to drop him back home, but it would be awkward for us and make the situation worse.
While torn between my feelings, Shou-kun’s gentle words soothed my anxiety instantly.
“Don’t worry, and go ahead, Takeuchi-san. Because of me, you’re already delayed.”
Such a kind soul. All we exchanged before today were short greetings or sometimes when Shou-kun had to converse with me regarding schoolwork. Yet, today, we became lovers, and he was already so gentle… so loving.
‘Guhh… I love him…’ Regretfully, he needed to return home. After waving at me, he began walking away.
I looked at his receding figure, hoping he wouldn’t go away and would remain by my side forever.
However, I knew it was just a far-fetched dream. That’s why I turned toward the car and was about to climb in when suddenly, I heard Shou-kun calling.
I instantly turned my head in his direction, and indeed, he was looking at me with a smiling face.
Somehow my attention went toward his lips as I lip-read him saying,
‘Tomorrow, I will be waiting for you.’
My sourness from being separated from Shou-kun melted at those words.
The promise to meet tomorrow reminded me that I could see Shou-kun every morning, and now, I could even talk to him and spend time with him. Not as a stalker but as his g-gi-girl
“Ah! I can’t!” I rushed inside the car with my face buried in my palms.
I need to do something about myself…

After separating from Takeuchi-san, I headed toward the station. The convenience store where I work is located near the station.
My shift starts at five, so I don’t need to rush.
Only the house and some savings were left by my parents, so I needed to work part-time jobs to fulfill my daily needs.
I also work as a novel editor, so I somehow manage to earn enough to continue a normal life. The savings my parents left behind were for college admission.
I’ve heard they take a huge amount, so I’ve been cautious.
Until I reached high school, I stayed with my aunt for three years. However, once I was sensible enough, she asked whether I could manage on my own. Well, considering how she recently had a baby, it was inevitable for my presence to be troublesome for them—that’s why I returned to my home here in Tokyo.
It was a little lonely initially, but soon I got accustomed to the silence surrounding me. It was really upsetting sometimes to return home and no one to greet you.
On many occasions, I remained seated in one of the parks nearby, swinging and running like a fool, so when I returned home, my tiredness claimed me soon, and I didn’t feel the loneliness for long.
However, things are different now.
For the past three months, I’ve been returning home early and being provided with nutritious food as well. Not only did it improve my health, but I also began to feel that I was no longer alone.
I may not be able to tell Takeuchi-san anytime soon, but in reality, I wanted someone to care for me, to make me feel at home. That’s why I agreed to date her.
‘Quite selfish of me…’ I darkly chuckled before making my way toward the store.
“Ah, Shou-kun. You are finally here.” The store owner immediately handed me the locker key before he walked out of the counter.
“Take care.” I was flabbergasted to see him launching out of the store in such a hurry.
It couldn’t be that he was suffering from diarrhea or something since there was a washroom in the store. And the way his face was polluted with fresh sweat, I could tell that the matter was severe.
However, he never allowed me to ask anything and drove his truck away.
I shrugged and walked into the locker room before changing my clothes. Once done, I settled behind the counter and took out my flip-flop phone.
The left side of the screen has already darkened because of numerous crashes and falls this piece of antic has faced. I was planning to change this phone this year… well, if only I started another job.
*Tring*
Suddenly, the bell chimed before I looked at the brown-haired man wearing an overcoat and holding a brown bag in his hand; entering the store.
My face brightened a bit as I greeted him, “Good evening, Rihito-san.” I was familiar with this man. For the past two or some months, he has been visiting the store regularly at this time after his work, to buy mostly the same thing.
“Beer and rice ball?” I asked. Generally, he told me to pick some snacks with the beer, and that’s why I stood up from my seat to bring him the items.
However,
“I am not here to buy anything today…” I raised my brows, however, before I could say anything, my eyes went toward the thing he was holding in his left hand and pointing it toward me.
My body froze and my mind fell numb as his voice echoed in my ears,
“…stay calm and follow me.”
….I know he said that for my sake, however, it was ridiculous to ask someone to retain their calm while pointing a gun at them…
