Falling in love with my stalker - Chapter 16- Her frustration...
“…as I said I am not that…”
“Aoi-san!” Hearing my voice the group of delinquents and the brown-haired girl turned to look at me.
The girl—Hanekawa Aoi, looked a little relieved seeing me. Although we weren’t close friends, she knew me well enough to recognize me at first glance.
“What are you even doing here? We are getting late for the classes.” To tackle the situation without allowing the opposition party to interfere I took Hanekawa-san’s hand in mine before I pulled her away.
“Ah…yes!” She instantly affirmed before letting me pull her.
“Wait a minute.” I had to stop as I found someone holding my shoulder firmly.
“Who do you think you are to interrupt us? We are just asking her some questions.” His tone suggested that he solely wanted to chat with Hanekawa-san, but the troubled expression she had didn’t allow me to let them have their way.
Looking at the guy over my shoulder I extended my lips in a smile before asking, “Are you sure you want to stall us anymore? You do know who Aoi-san’s father is, right?”
Hearing my words the guy frowned before he asked in uncertainty, “Who…?”
I turned to look at him before releasing Hanekawa-san’s hand and suggesting, “Why don’t you try holding her here for some more minutes and find it yourself? I am sure, it will be really interesting for me to watch it from the sidelines. ”
With my eyes closed and my hands locked behind my back, I happily smiled at them while declaring the possible consequences they might face.
Suddenly the black-haired dude from behind whispered something to the boss delinquent’s ear with a troubled expression.
“Tch, forget it.” The blond delinquent clicked his tongue before tucking his hand inside his pockets and walking away; followed by his sidekicks.
“That was easy.” I couldn’t help muttering as I looked toward Hanekawa-san and apologized,
“Sorry for calling you in such an informal way. Well, let’s just get-”
“Wait! How does Sawaruma-kun know about my dad being a police officer?”
Hearing her question I couldn’t help chuckling before I replied, “I didn’t know, Hanekawa-san.”
She blinked in confusion…however, her eyes soon widened upon realizing what I was implying.
“Wait! So you just…”
“Yup.” I nodded without hesitation. These kinds of tricks work against these wannabe delinquents very well.
“Now let’s go, or we would be late.” I ushered her. Hanekawa-san soon nodded before she began walking beside me.

The classroom was abuzz as always. People chatting. Talking about mangas and movies. Some telling jokes and some flirting with girls. It was all too same for Rumi.
Her seat was in the middle of the second row, meanwhile, Shou sat on the second last seat in the leftmost row.
It was quite disheartening to not be able to sit together until now. But Rumi was sure if Shou had sat beside her since the start, she might have spilled her addiction for him a lot earlier.
But well in a way, it was good that she waited before confessing her feelings. She got the surety that he wouldn’t reject her…and wouldn’t be able to live without her either.
Placing the erase just at the corner of her desk, Rumi was planning to ‘accidentally’ drop it on the ground just the very moment Shou passed from there. In that way, he would pick up the eraser and she could see his face from close.
‘Ahhh…so vile of me~’
The same girl who was squirming inside her head retained a composed and unapproachable aura around her…to the point, that other students have left four desks around her empty and taking detours to reach their own seats so they don’t come across her gaze.
All of a sudden, the doors of the classroom were slid open, gaining some gazes including Rumi’s.
A gleam of excitement surged in her eyes as she saw her beloved finally appearing…with a girl beside him.
A girl beside him…
A girl…with her Shou-kun.
A girl was walking and chatting with her Shou-kun.
A girl, who wasn’t Rumi…

[Shou’s POV:]
The moment I entered the classroom with Hanekawa-san beside me, I felt a cold wave hitting me from the center of the class.
I didn’t have to look twice to know that Takeuchi-san was mad at me. And I wasn’t stupid to not know the reasons.
“Hey, Shou-kun…and Aoi. You guys together in the morning? Is there something I am missing?”The loud and teasing voice of one of my classmates and Hanekawa-san’s friends only made it worse.
“It’s nothing like that! Sawaruma-kun just helped me.”
“Hoh~so the damsel was in distress?” Hearing more girls teasing Hanekawa-san after she announced the reason, was getting troublesome.
It was then,
**SCREEECH**
The metal chair screeched against the ground before everyone turned silent and looked at Takeuchi-san.
I panicked slightly seeing her advancing in our direction.
She didn’t glance at me even once and glared at Hanekawa-san before saying,
“Hanekawa Aoi, can you move aside?” Her voice was like a stone in a serene lake.
Hanekawa-san didn’t think twice before moving aside.
Without another word spoken, Takeuchi-san walked out of the class
“W-What was that….”
“Aoi…did you upset Takeuchi-san somehow?”
The people around were as flabbergasted as Hanekawa-san. However, I knew the reason why Takeuchi-san acted that way.
“Okay class, back to your seats.”
Suddenly sensei walked inside the class and told everyone to move. Hanekawa-san and the others instantly made their way to their respective seats.
My mind was blank at what I should do.
I wanted to follow Takeuchi-san…but it would look too suspicious. More so when the teacher was already here.
‘Think…think…think…’ As I passed by Takeuchi-san’s desk my eyes widened upon seeing some droplets of blood on the floor and her desk.
‘Did she…’ Without a second thought, I took the pen from my left pocket and stabbed my palm until the lead didn’t dig inside my skin.
Blood poured down instantly as I took out the pen and turned to look at the teacher.
“Sensei…can I go to the infirmary? It seems I pricked myself…”
