Falling in love with my stalker - Chapter 13- His frustration....
“So you indeed are Takeuchi Rumi-san! I knew I had seen that face before.” Amaye excitedly exclaimed after Rumi introduced herself…well, she had to. After all, rejecting those innocent expectant eyes of her Shou-kun would be nothing but a crime for her.
After their conversation back in the room, Shou brought Rumi downstairs to talk with Amaye about something important.
“Shou-kun, I didn’t know you would score such a beauty.” The older teased Shou with her eyes narrowed and a smirk lifting her lips.
Shou looked a little embarrassed but he focused on a more important topic at hand,
“Umm, Amaye-san, can you please not tell anyone about me and Takeuchi-san dating?”
Rumi’s expression fell upon hearing those words as her gaze lowered in dissatisfaction and regret. As she thought, she should have been careful about her family since the start.
However, given their reach and how overprotective they were toward Rumi, it was highly likely they would have found out about her affection toward Shou, sooner than later.
“Although I don’t have any friends or acquaintances to even talk to, I still would be cautious about this matter. However, why is it that Shou-kun wants to hide his relationship with Takeuchi-san?”
Amaye’s tilt of head caused Shou to sigh before he relayed the reason behind his request, “Actually, there are various people who hold resentment toward Takeuchi-san’s father. As such, it would be better if we don’t make our relationship public and give those criminal syndicates, a chance to use me against the Takeuchi clan.”
Rumi’s fist clenched just at the thought of something happening to Shou. Such a kind and lively person doesn’t need to face the harsh side of this world. Shou has never done anything bad, as such, she has to make sure that nothing in this world becomes the reason for his pain and sadness.
“I somehow got the gist of it. Alright, I will not tell anyone…but, Takeuchi-san.” Rumi directed her eyes to the hoodie-wearing woman before she heard her request,
“Can I continue working with Shou-kun? I am not sure what you have heard from him about me, but truth be told without Shou-kun I would be pretty much lost. ”
Shou was about to say that Rumi had agreed to continue this employer-and-employee relationship…however, before he could open his mouth, Rumi spoke up,
“Only if you don’t meet him in person. And particularly not when Shou-kun is alone. If not, as his lover, I will oppose your contact with him.”
Rumi was not having it. Although she somehow knew what favors Amaye had done for Shou, she couldn’t allow a woman to be in his room and flirt with Shou. There were a lot of risks, which Rumi didn’t even want to think about.
“Takeuchi-san…” Shou was in a conflicted state at the moment. However, soon his problem was resolved by Amaye.
“Okay, done. No more private meetings…but I will video call him in case of emergency, alright?”
Rumi would be present when that happens—with that thought the red-eyed girl nodded in assent before the two women shook hands.
‘Somehow, it feels they are signing a big deal…’ Shou sighed.

For the rest of the day, Shou was invested in his work with Amaye helping him out and Rumi on standby.
She was making sure that Amaye didn’t cross her boundaries; however, not even once Amaye did try coming near Shou during these hours.
‘There definitely is something wrong….’ The number of calls Rumi saw on Shou’s phone last night from this single entity, and also, considering the past they share, Rumi thought that Amaye might have some feelings for Shou.
Although she was relieved to see no suspicious reaction from Amaye when she heard about Rumi and Shou, it was a little strange as well.
‘In the first place…why did she wait for Shou-kun to leave the room before going through his computer?’ Rumi’s frown deepened at that.
There definitely was something wrong with this woman. Her intentions were unclear—which made it more difficult for Rumi to discern her stance.
‘Forget it…if things come down to it, I will just have to remove her from Shou-kun’s life…’

“Iyaaah! It was tiresome working for straight six hours.”
Shou shared the thought as he looked away from the compromising pose Amaye presented in front of his eyes by stretching her arms and allowing her bosom to stick out.
Rumi glared at the woman but to no avail.
Either Amaye was truly clueless or she liked to tease Shou on a regular basis—was what he concluded.
“Okay, then, I will be off. Thank you for your help.”
“Mm. I hope people like this volume as well.” Amaye smiled at that before she waved toward Rumi and walked out of the house.
Shou closed the door before a deep sigh escaped his lips.
Turning to face his girlfriend, he remained silent for a bit, before bowing his head.
“S-Shou-kun?” Rumi was naturally startled, seeing him bow all of a sudden.
“I am sorry, Takeuchi-san. Initially, I wasn’t thinking this straight, but after a lot of consideration I came to know what I did wrong.”
Raising his face with his eyes filled with regret, Shou continued, “I was insensitive. I couldn’t fathom how you must be feeling after seeing me and Shirakawa-san all alone in the house. However, once I put you in my place….the mere thought of Takeuchi-san…spending time with someone else….I don’t want to even think about it.”
Shou gritted his teeth and clenched his fist as he stared at the ground in frustration.
He even thought that Rumi was overreacting in the morning…but now, he could understand why she behaved in such a manner.
If for him, Shou might have just used that knife to…
*Dhak*
“Ah…” Shou was surprised feeling the familiar warmth enveloping him before he felt his head being patted and his face resting against something soft and warm.
Apparently, he was being embraced by her.
“Don’t worry, Shou-kun. I will not do anything with anyone, that my Shou-kun doesn’t like. I only love Shou-kun, and whatever he wants is acceptable to me.”
Shou clutched the hem of her shirt in elation. A sudden surge of warmth seeped through his skin and enveloped his heart.
Rumi cared for him. His thoughts and feelings were valuable for her. His likes and dislikes would be considered and his presence was treasured by her.
A part of his wanted to just say, ‘I love you too, Takeuchi-san’ right here and right now.
However, Shou held himself back. He first wanted to really know, whether he loved Rumi as a partner or was just desperate for her care and warmth.
Just as his mother used to tell him, Shou was going to confess only when he was sure of his feelings.
He has lied to many people in the past and he didn’t feel much guilt out of it. However, this person…she deserves to receive his honest side.
She deserves to be happy….just like how he currently was.
