Falling in love with my stalker - Chapter 11- His employer
Shirakawa Amaye was a twenty-two-year-old girl, who graduated from a university, that focused on finance.
Yes, as it may seem, she was forced to take the course even though she wasn’t interested in it.
Shirakawa-san used to slack off a lot during her college days since she didn’t have many friends…or more like she was a complete loner and as such, she used to invest her time in her hobby—literature.
Her interest initially remained in reading various kinds of books online and offline. Then shortly after she began to wonder ‘What if…this person would have done this instead of this…’. The thought led her to write some short stories with the same concept but different conclusions.
Since her Japanese and English, both were good, she got a wide range of audience in no time. Not to talk about the new ideas she brought to the field.
The people were getting tired of the same concept, and as such, a new author brought concepts and characters that felt refreshing and something unheard of.
Indeed, Shirakawa-san was destined to become popular.
Her reach extended. Her novels began to get donations and patronage and as such, her family members no longer pestered her to become an accountant or anything after graduation. Her profession in the field of literature was shining like a bright star and no one dared stop her from reaching out to that.
Soon Shirakawa-san began to write Light Novels, which of course was longer than her regular episodic novels. And as such, she didn’t get much time for editing and proofreading stuff.
As such, she hired someone for the job…however, she soon got cheated on by the person. Before the release date, he was posting the draft over different websites in short chapters and earning a lot of money from it.
Although Shirakawa-san wasn’t getting any less profit, it still felt like she was tricking her buyers in that way. And that’s why, once she found the evidence, she reported him to the police.
The situation was surely heated up at that time.
After that, she was working all by herself, which surely took a lot more time and effort than she wanted to spend. And at those times of difficulty, I appeared in her life.
“You are so reliable that I feel like staying here forever.” Getting cozy on my bed was the same person I was talking about until now.
Wearing an oversized blue hoodie and skin-fitting jeans, she lay on the bed without any reservation. Her round glasses were thrown to the table—showing her intention to be least helpful to me in this editing session.
She has always been like that. Lazing around until someone is working for her.
“Don’t make that face, Shou-kun. I will pay an extra fifteen percent of the original fees if you finish it today.”
Under normal circumstances, I would have joked something like ‘You cannot lure me with your filthy money’, but not anymore. I needed money to buy a few things.
Like getting admitted to the martial arts academy. Then there were some good clothes I could wear while going on dates with Takeuchi-san…and if possible, I want to buy something for Takeuchi-san as well. I have heard that girls like accessories and flowers in general, but maybe, for Takeuchi-san, I would rather pick something more carefully.
Something, that could remind her of me?
“What are you giggling about?”
I was startled upon hearing Shirakawa-san’s voice from this close before I turned to look at her in slight exasperation,
“Can’t you be lazy in peace and let me finish my work?” I lightly scolded her for plucking me out of my daze.
Well, even though I say ‘daze’ it wasn’t like I was looking at nothing in constant and daydreaming about Takeuchi-san.
My fingers never halted while I was thinking about her nor was I incurring any mistakes in editing, as per what I could see.
“Hmm…I am bothered.” I raised my brows at that before I asked, “About what?”
Shirakawa-san folded her arms over her chest before she said, “Even though you are going through an explicit scene of intercourse, there is no reaction from down there?”
I didn’t have to follow her gaze to know, where she was looking at.
However, I wasn’t a naive teenager to get embarrassed hearing some silly adult joke as I told her, “I have already attained immunity to these kinds of things.”
“Heeh~is it that, you are now transforming into an asexual being? A slave driven by money, lost all his emotions on the path? Hmm, nice concept.”
Me? Asexual?
Someone who got aroused just by looking at the neckline of my girlfriend…yeah, you can’t be any more wrong about me, Shirakawa-san.
Although I had words to retaliate, I kept it to myself. This woman has a way with her words that could leave the other party in shambles. I didn’t want to participate in a battle, which I surely would lose at the end of the day.
“Haah….more than the work, you are tiring me out. Let’s have lunch now.” As I got up from my seat, I stretched a little and advanced toward the door.
“Should I bring the ramen for you as well?” For lunch we had ramen. Just ramen.
This irresponsible, introverted author didn’t have the guts to go into the shopping mall, so she picked every ramen she had in her storage and brought it here. Well, if she stays until dinner, I was planning to order sushi and make her pay for it, so ramen for lunch didn’t seem so bad.
“Hmm…well, if you brew me some green tea along with it.”
I replied with a ‘Hai’ before walking out.
Work was an excuse, she just wanted to be pampered—was what I felt as I walked down the stairs and headed toward the kitchen.

Just as Shou walked out, Amaye intently heard his distancing footsteps, before she hurriedly sat on the chair where he was previously sitting and began to search for something on his computer.
She went through files and folders and kept typing the file name she was trying to extract as soon as she could.
However, soon all her movements halted as she felt something cold and sharp being pressed against her neck.
“Are you intentionally trying to get killed?”
The frown from Amaye’s face disappeared and just for a mere moment, her lips stretched into a menacing smile as she recognized the voice of the person.
However, the smile soon faded as she panicked,
“W-Who are you? Why are you trying to k-kill me?!”
Before Rumi could respond to the woman by drawing some of her blood, the third person in the house, walked in,
“I forgot to as-huh?! Takeuchi-san?”
