Embracing my stalker - Chapter 8- Cheating girlfriend

Haruto led Yumeko to the school playground.

There were only a few students around, which is why they got themselves empty seats easily.

Yumeko looked pissed off, mumbling things to herself.

Once seated, she finally lost her cool, “What the fuck is wrong with you, Haru-kun? First, you saved her from me when I was punishing her for looking at my man, and now you are being all friendly with her?”

Her eyes were widened in anger as she shouted at him.

Anyone would have thought that she was a loving girlfriend who was angered at the fact that her boyfriend was seen with someone else.

Haruto wanted to laugh.

How well could she act?

He turned towards her and told her, “Yumeko…I am breaking up with you.”

“I-huh?” She was baffled and stopped talking

Her eyes slightly stretched but this time in shock

For a moment, she couldn’t believe she heard him.

For her assurance, Haruto repeated, “I am not just breaking up but annulling the engagement too. My father had already contacted your father.”

Her fist clenched as she suddenly got up, “Y-You! You are doing all this for that whore-”

“Yumeko.” He called out, not in a loud voice, but something about his tone sent a shiver down her spine.

However, she soon regained her composure and told him, “You can’t ‘Yumeko’ me and think I would just accept whatever crap you are throwing at me.”

Haruto tilted his head, “So you don’t want to break up?”

She sat back down, “Of course, I don’t! Relationship is not a joke for me. I got engaged to you not on a whim.”

Haruto couldn’t stop himself from laughing this time.

“Pha-hahaha!” His laughter made her furious but her eyes were no longer effective on him.

Passersby glanced at them but didn’t approach them, reading the room and ignoring the duo.

“What the hell is funny here?” She was so angry that her lips curved into a smile.

She couldn’t believe how ridiculous he was being!

Rather than pampering her and apologizing to her, he was spouting nonsense and laughing in her face?

Even if he hugs her now and says this was a prank, she has already decided how brutally she was going to ignore his whole existence for two weeks at the very least.

Haruto suddenly stopped laughing. Any trace of a smile disappeared from his face as he said,

“I am serious here, Yumeko. I am breaking up with you and when I come to your house to officially annul the engagement, I don’t want any kind of drama. You have to accept it.”

Yumeko’s patience was now growing thin as she said, “Listen, Haruto, this is going too far-”

“Arikawa Daiki.” He called out a name and she turned silent.

For a moment, she forgot to breathe.

H-He…possibly couldn’t…right?

Haruto tilted his head, “Why is your face so pale upon hearing the name of the rugby team captain, Yumeko?”

Yumeko tried to retain her composure but that expression on his face…it clearly told her that there was something wrong.

“W-What are you talking about?” She tried to be normal. However, that only made Haruto more amused.

“Oh, don’t tell me you forgot about the man you recently slept with.”

“H-How-” she couldn’t utter a single word.

How did he know?! Who told him?!

Was it Amaye? But how would that weirdo know?

Then was it Daiki?!

Haruto’s expression turned bitter.

How could he ever love this woman? She has been cheating on him for so long.

She lost her virginity just a few days later after they started dating

As expected, her partner wasn’t Haruto.

She craved physical intimacy a lot, and Haruto wasn’t the type of boy who believed in having sex with the girl he just started dating.

Since high school, she had had many affairs, and she told him about those affairs during one of their final arguments.

And recently as well, after their University won the rugby tournament, Yumeko took it upon herself to reward the rugby team captain.

He looked into her eyes which were filled with tears, as he said, “I can’t believe I once fought my parents for you.”

She shook her head, too overwhelmed to say anything.

Haruto got up and said, “It’s over, Yumeko. Being near you makes my skin crawl. Don’t ever contact me again.”

He took a step forward, only to get stopped by her.

She held his hand and begged, “P-Please…j-just one chance…I swear-”

“Cheating isn’t a mistake, Yumeko. It’s a choice. And in your case, you consciously cheated on me because you never wanted to be bound to a single person.” He removed his hand from hers and started to walk.

However, soon he paused and told her, “And yes, if you don’t want me to leak the photos of your lively sex life, leave this uni and never show your face before me.”
