Dungeon And Slave: The Lustful and Violent Slave Harem of the Guard and Students Chosen as Testers for the Succubus Dungeon - Chapter 3: My Room
Chapter 3: My Room
I turned the brand-new wooden doorknob and stepped into the room, which was about four tatami mats in size.
There were no windows, and the floor, walls, and ceiling were all made of stone, with the ceiling stones emitting a faint glow, just like in the hall.
The light was probably a bit too dim for reading comfortably.
Directly across from the entrance was a bed, and on the left side was a sliding door. Opening it revealed a Japanese-style toilet.
Thankfully, it was flushable, not a pit toilet, so I breathed a sigh of relief.
If the entrance door had been iron bars, this place would’ve felt like a prison cell, I thought, as I glanced to the right corner of the room.
There, I saw a large wooden desk and chair, and on the desk, as the Succubus Queen had mentioned, was a black crystal.
In front of the crystal was a black flagstone about the size of a B4 sheet, with a silver magic circle-like design drawn on it.
This must be the magic crystal, I thought, touching it.
“!?”
Suddenly, the magic crystal glowed, and a translucent screen, like a holographic display, appeared above it.
The screen was about the size of a laptop, displaying icons for [Shop], [Magic Stone/Item Buyback], and [Appraisal].
“That startled me… So, this is where I shop, huh?”
Even in a demon world, they’ve got something like an online shop?
Assuming I needed to touch the holographic display, I tapped the [Shop] icon.
The other icons vanished, replaced by new ones: [Food], [Daily Necessities], [Weapons/Armor], [Various Items], [Martial Arts Manuals/Magic Books], [Slave Purchase], and [Facility Expansion].
In the top right corner of the screen, it showed 2,000 DP.
“So, my starting DP is 2,000.”
I didn’t know if that was a lot or a little, so I tapped the [Food] icon.
It displayed: Beverage 20 DP, Breakfast Set 50 DP, Bento 60 DP, Dinner Set 100 DP.
Tapping the Breakfast Set showed a sandwich equivalent to four slices of bread, plus coffee or tea.
Probably 10 DP equals 100 yen, meaning the initial DP is worth about 20,000 yen. Food prices seem about average, but this would only cover 10 days of meals. Skipping one meal a day might stretch it to just under two weeks.
If I could cook, I might save some DP, but there’s no rice, bread, or meat on the list. It’s like a diner—only pre-made items are available. So, if I don’t want to starve, I have to fight.
“Hmm, the longer time passes, the tighter the noose gets.”
To fight monsters, I’ll need weapons. Since they want to test human strength, I doubt they’d send monsters weak enough to defeat barehanded. That means I can’t spend all my DP on food.
For now, I purchased a bento for 60 DP.
The black flagstone with the magic circle glowed, and the next moment, a fried chicken bento in a familiar container, like the ones from the academy’s store, appeared along with a plastic bottle of tea.
“Impressive… How does this work? And it’s a familiar bento.”
Did they absorb and copy the ingredients and containers when they swallowed the academy? Well, if they can create a room like this, anything’s possible. It’s like in manga.
I set the bento aside for now and tapped [Back] to close the food menu.
Now that I had a rough idea of DP’s value, I tapped [Slave Purchase], the thing I was most curious about.
Icons for <Slave Catalog> and <Slave Management> appeared, so I tapped the catalog.
“Whoa…”
The screen filled with bust-up photos of female students, arranged like a graduation album.
The top row was labeled [Grade 1 Slaves] 2,000,000 DP, with 15 photos below it. Each photo listed the girl’s name, age, three sizes, bust cup size, and whether she was a virgin.
My eyes stopped on the first girl in the row.
“Oh, the swimming club beauty who greets me every morning is for sale. Sayaka Tsukigase, huh? So that’s her name. D-cup, as expected. And still a virgin? To think a girl like that’s been turned into a sex slave with a lust tattoo.”
The thought of a familiar, beautiful, virgin girl branded with a lust tattoo filled me with sudden motivation.
I scrolled down the screen with my finger.
The remaining girls were divided into Grades 2 through 5, with prices ranging from 1,500,000 DP down to 200,000 DP, getting cheaper as the grades lowered.
“I see, so they’ve ranked the female students like this. Makes sense.”
No way the academy’s top beauty, a virgin, would cost the same as a plain non-virgin.
Grade 1 at 2,000,000 DP is 20 million yen. Even Grade 2 is 1,500,000 DP, or 15 million yen. If this weren’t a dungeon, getting an absolutely obedient, beautiful, virgin high school girl as a sex slave would be a steal. But I don’t know how much DP you get from defeating monsters. Worst case, the monsters might be so tough that earning enough for food alone would be a struggle.
Still, Grade 5 at 200,000 DP is 2 million yen? That’s a huge gap from Grade 1.
Grade 5 had the most, about 100 girls. Skimming through, I saw women in their late 30s, like the academy’s office staff, or the part-time cafeteria ladies in aprons, also in their 30s. There were also less attractive female students and overweight girls.
Most were second- or third-year students, with a high non-virgin rate. The common trait? Small chests. Well, a succubus ranking them would probably be strictest about figure.
Grade 5, huh… If I could earn 2,000 DP a day, I could buy one in three or four months. I don’t care about virginity, but if I’m building a slave harem, I’d want Grade 1 and 2 beauties. That’s the motivation to fight.
It was like that when I was a child soldier. If you excelled in the war against government forces, you’d get a girl they’d kidnapped from somewhere as a reward. They’d let you get attached to the girls to keep you from escaping. Sometimes you shared the girls with other boy soldiers, but I never let anyone touch my favorite.
I suddenly remembered my favorite girl.
I wonder how she’s doing now? Was she properly protected by the government forces?
She’s probably fine. When I escaped, I returned the ID she had when she was kidnapped and left her confined in a safe place. The government forces should’ve protected her. After all, she was the daughter of a government official. Even if her parents abandoned her by refusing to negotiate, she shouldn’t have been treated too badly. Though it’s ironic coming from me, who “took care” of her (in more ways than one).
※
Enough sidetracking.
I closed the catalog, my thoughts returning.
I got a rough idea of the Slave market. Time to prepare for fighting.
Next, I tapped the [Weapons/Armor] icon, essential for battling monsters.
A variety of weapons appeared on the screen with illustrations. I looked for guns or grenades, but as expected, there were none. Just medieval weapons, and they were expensive.
But there seemed to be a relief measure. For each weapon type, there was one dirt-cheap option. Even a succubus wouldn’t expect regular high schoolers to fight barehanded.
After thinking it over, I purchased a 300 DP dagger and an 800 DP machete.
The machete was my go-to weapon in close combat. Back then, I used a more refined machete, but I won’t complain. Oh, a machete is like a large knife. Since most battles against government forces were guerrilla warfare in the jungle, I used a machete more often than a gun in close encounters.
I pressed the purchase button, and like before, the flagstone glowed. This time, a dagger with a 20 cm blade and a decent machete with a 40 cm blade appeared at my feet.
That used 1,160 DP, leaving 840 DP.
I checked armor, but there were no modern protectors—just leather armor, iron breastplates, or full suits, all starting at 5,000 DP or more, way out of my budget.
Oh, that’s why the Succubus Queen said she enchanted our uniforms. Will it block a knife, at least? Is my guard uniform even included?
I tested it by slashing the hem of my pants with the dagger, but it didn’t cut. I punched my thigh, and it hurt normally. So, it’s just cut-resistant, but that’s good enough. No need to test my safety boots—they’re already sturdy.
I’d have liked leather armor that could absorb impacts at a discount, but I guess it’s not that generous.
After checking everything, I tapped [Martial Arts Manuals/Magic Books], the next thing I was curious about.
A list of martial arts manuals and magic books appeared.

“I see… Only the martial arts manuals have a discount.”
This means even students untrained in swordsmanship could fight decently. Against humans, it’d be different, but monsters like in games probably have a lower mental barrier to kill.
The magic books seem to be only beginner-level spells. I’d love to use magic, but 30,000 DP is way out of reach. I wanted to blast magic like in online games.
Wait, can anyone learn magic?
Oh, there’s a help option.
I tapped the [?] mark next to the manuals and magic books.
◯ Martial Arts Manuals
[Manuals containing the basics of martial arts. Created by extracting the memories of typical human soldiers. Appears as a parchment scroll; opening it imparts foundational knowledge.]
◯ Magic Books
[Magic books created by the demon god Zazard-sama. Infused with divine script concepts, even demon kings cannot replicate them. Humans can learn them.]
“Hmm, the manuals are made from the memories of typical human soldiers, and the magic books are handcrafted by the demon god. And humans can learn them… but ‘humans’?”
Not “human” but “human race.” That phrasing suggests there are other races. If we’re going by fantasy manga logic, these manuals were made from the memories of humans living in a world with elves or dwarves. What happened to that world, and how did they extract those memories…?
Not important right now.
If I’m choosing one…
“Physical Enhancement, no question.”
I don’t need to learn swordsmanship or hand-to-hand combat now. Learning a manual with a different style would just confuse me.
Plus, in isekai stories, physical enhancement is a core basic. Even if it’s foundational, it should be useful. These usually rely on something called mana. I don’t know if I have any, but I’ll probably level up and sense it as I defeat monsters… hopefully.
I tapped and purchased the Physical Enhancement Manual. The flagstone glowed again, and when the light faded, a parchment scroll tied with a string appeared.
I picked it up, untied the string, and unrolled it. The parchment glowed and burned up in an instant.
“Hot! …Huh? Not hot?”
I panicked, thinking I’d get burned as the parchment flared, but it wasn’t hot at all.
Was it just the appearance of burning, not actual fire?
Did I learn it, though?
Feeling uneasy, I searched my mind for the knowledge of physical enhancement.
Sure enough, I had clear knowledge of what physical enhancement was and the sensation of channeling mana to enhance my body.
I tried activating it as the memory instructed… but felt no change.
Digging into the memory again, I found the issue: insufficient mana. Apparently, I don’t have enough mana to activate physical enhancement.
Did I mess up? I thought for a moment, but I doubt they’d sell something unusable. So, I decided to believe that defeating monsters will level me up and increase my mana, and left it at that.
That left me with 340 DP.
Thinking I couldn’t buy much else, I opened [Various Items] to check for reference.
A list of potions and magic items appeared.
The cheapest potion was 2,000 DP, completely out of reach. Magic items were in another league entirely.
Hoping to find something affordable, I checked [Daily Necessities] and found a portable first-aid kit for 200 DP, so I bought it just in case. There was also a sports towel for 20 DP, so I got that too. And a simple leather sack with a strap that looked like a basic backpack for 100 DP, so I bought it.
Thinking the tea from the bento set wouldn’t be enough, I added a 20 DP sports drink.
That brought my balance to 0 DP.
Well, I used it all up.
I opened the backpack and stored the first-aid kit, towel, sports drink, and bento set that appeared on the magic circle. I tucked the dagger into my belt and held the machete in hand.
Alright, I’m ready to fight.
“Still… heh heh heh, a dungeon test? Monsters? So what. All I see is a chance to build the slave harem I dreamed of in eroge. And if it’s for saving people, there’s no reason not to do it.”
Though I don’t know if that Succubus Queen will actually let us go.
But since we’re trapped and confined here, fighting is the only way to survive.
Forced to fight, and rewarded with women if I excel.
It’s just like when I was kidnapped by terrorists and made a child soldier. No problem at all.
Realizing the corners of my mouth had curled up unconsciously, I slung the backpack over my shoulder, gripped the unsheathed machete, opened the door, and left the room.
