Dungeon And Slave: The Lustful and Violent Slave Harem of the Guard and Students Chosen as Testers for the Succubus Dungeon - Chapter 13: Special Reward 2
Chapter 13: Special Reward 2
Back in My Room, I set my backpack under the desk and removed my gear in order: iron small shield, leather gauntlets, leather armor, leather shin guard, placing them beside the bed.
After stripping off the enhanced guard uniform, shirt, and underwear, I headed to the shower room.
I calmed my “little guy,” ready for action just from the body soap’s stimulation, and washed off the sweat.
Feeling refreshed, I checked the clock—it was past 6 PM.
I was in the dungeon for 11 hours today, I thought, sitting at the desk chair, opening the shop, and buying a soda.
Beer would be perfect, but why no alcohol? Sure, most testers are minors, but they could sell it with an age restriction, I grumbled inwardly, chugging the soda.
Fully refreshed, body and mind…
“Now, any special rewards?”
Seeing the blinking bell icon next to my 6,020 DP balance, I grinned.
The bell showed a “2,” meaning two rewards, right?
Last time, the first 10 to sell 20 magic stones got a shower room worth 10,000 DP.
What’ll they give me, the first to beat the first floor’s boss?
Excited, I tapped the bell, and the details appeared.
As a reward for the first Floor Guardian defeat, 20,000 DP (1/1) is granted. Accept? (Yes/No)
As a special reward for being the first among all testers to defeat a Floor Guardian, 50,000 DP (1/1) is granted. Accept? (Yes/No)
“70,000 DP! Beating a… Floor Guardian gets me 700,000 yen?”
The second reward for being the first ever feels like a one-time deal, but with this much DP, buying a Slave isn’t far off, is it?
Hm? What’s the number in parentheses? 1/1? Oh, it means one out of one. If five people beat it, it’d be 1/5, splitting the reward five ways. Otherwise, groups would get more.
There’s no party system, so DP rewards are split equally among those present at the Guardian’s defeat, claimed later via the magic crystal. No fights over shares—nice.
“Not like it matters to solo me. Time to settle today’s haul.”
I accepted both rewards, then tapped [Magic Stone Buyback], lifted my backpack from the floor, and dumped all the magic stones onto the magic circle. The circle glowed, the stones vanished, and the results appeared on the holographic display.
F-Rank Magic Stones: 316, F+ Rank Magic Stone: 1, total 9,570 DP. Confirm? (Yes/No)
“Over 300 kills, huh?”
I killed nearly 100 more than yesterday, probably because I explored two hours longer and faced three rabbits per encounter on the second floor.
The single F+ Rank stone must be from the Big Horn Rabbit. 316 × 30 DP is 9,480 DP, so subtracting that, the F+ stone is 90 DP. Three times a Horn Rabbit’s. Fair enough.
I tapped Yes to cash in the stones, then moved to item buyback. I’m keeping potions, so just six large copper coins and 30 small ones. That’s 100 DP × 6 plus 10 DP × 30, totaling 900 DP.
Special Rewards: 70,000 DP
Magic Stone Buyback: 9,570 DP
Item Buyback: 900 DP
Previous Balance: 6,020 DP
Total: 86,490 DP
“Whoa, 860,000 yen worth.”
Three days, and I’ve earned this much. Plus, all my gear’s from chests.
Today’s chest haul:
-
- Grade 5 Potion ×2
-
- Grade 4 Potion
-
- Knife
-
- Leather Gauntlets
-
- Club
-
- Leather Cap
-
- Leather Armor
-
- Iron Small Shield
-
- Large Copper Coins ×6, Small Copper Coins ×30
The bronze chest made it a great haul. The Grade 4 potion, leather armor, and iron shield are especially nice.
I’ve got five Grade 5 potions now, but I’m saving them for emergencies. Selling gets half the purchase price, and I can sell anytime, so I’ll hold off while I’ve got DP to spare.
“Still, chests are great, but… beating a Floor Guardian for a higher-tier chest and special rewards is better.”
The gap between wooden and bronze chests is huge.
Wooden chests usually have one item, worth up to 2,000 DP. Bronze chests have multiple items exceeding 10,000 DP.
Over ten times the value. Not all bronze chests might be that loaded—maybe just Guardian chests—but regular bronze chests likely hold 10,000 DP worth, five times a wooden chest.
So, the fastest way to afford high-tier Slaves is to push forward, beat Floor Guardians, and reach floors where regular chests are bronze.
For now, students are focused on leveling and chest hunting. Some groups are in side tunnels, but finding the Guardian’s tunnel among many will take time.
“Two or three days, maybe?”
In that time, someone might reach the first floor’s Guardian. They could leak the location to others.
No, if they’re exploring that aggressively, they might think like me.
They’re more likely to keep it secret for a bit. The first floor’s entrance is getting crowded—proof more students are gearing up to fight. It’ll be harder to earn soon.
So, with no competition on the second floor, I should grind while I can.
“I want to push forward, but four Horn Rabbits at once could be trouble.”
I glanced at my DP balance, thinking.
Magic spells were 30,000 DP, right?
I can afford one. With magic, I could handle multiple monsters solo.
But… I opened the Slave catalog.
Just 120,000 DP more, and I can buy a Grade 5 Slave. At this rate, I could hit 200,000 DP in about a week.
I’m aiming for high-tier Slaves, but being so close makes me waver.
I hadn’t looked closely at Grade 5 Slaves before, so I scrolled through the list.
Honestly, no one’s cute. But over half look decent enough for sex. If you’re into flat chests, housewives, or older women, you’d probably have fun.
Still, Wall Butt’s probably better.
Sure, seeing changing expressions, hearing moans, and trying various positions is appealing. I’m starting to miss oral, too.
But do I want to spend all my DP on this? I’m not so sure.
“If Wall Butt didn’t exist, I might’ve bought one.”
Buying one pushes Grade 1 Slaves further away. Meanwhile, my top picks—Tsukigase from the swimming club or Karen, the bread-munching late exchange student—could get snatched by others catching up.
I’m solo. As monsters get stronger and numbers increase, groups with better coordination will have the edge. They’ll overtake me while I’m struggling.
Magic’s the way. If I can offset numbers with magic, I can keep my lead.
I don’t know how much mana a spell takes, but sleeping tonight might boost it. Right now, I rarely use Physical Enhancement against Horn Rabbits. That mana could go to attack or defense spells.
30,000 DP is steep, but if I skimp and get injured, I’ll buy it anyway. Better to get it now and practice.
It’ll delay Grade 1 Slaves, but it’s an investment. It’ll pay off big and keep me safe.
“I’m buying.”
Deciding to get a spell, I tapped [Martial Arts Manuals/Magic Books] in the shop, pulling up the magic list.
