Tap, tap, tap.
Firis stomped her right foot against the ground before leaving the hollow. Shocked by her gesture, which seemed like she was casually testing its condition, Sota hurriedly rushed over to her.
“Firis-san, what are you doing!”
“Eh?”
“Your right ankle is supposed to be broken! I’ll carry you again today, so…”
Firis laughed brightly at Sota as he ran to her with a worried expression.
“I appreciate the thought, but it’s already completely healed. Look.”
“What?”
Firis spoke as she firmly leveled the ground with her right foot. Her movements truly showed no sign of pain or discomfort, and Sota could only blink in utter disbelief at the sight.
“But… I mean, it was so swollen until yesterday…”
“I took in so much of Sota’s essence, after all. It’s thanks to that.”
“Wait, my essence…?”
“A woman’s life force increases vastly by receiving semen from a man. Did you not know that?”
“N-No…”
“Mind you, this was my first time receiving essence from a man, so even I am currently in a state of surprise.”
(Is that how it works?)
Sota wondered for a moment, nearly falling for the logic, but then he shook his head vigorously.
(There’s no way a broken bone can be cured just by drinking semen or having it released inside you. That’s ridiculous.)
In the world Sota came from, such a thing was naturally unthinkable. It seemed that in this world, semen was not only precious but also played a role similar to a panacea. Witnessing the mystery of a woman from another world, he felt the gap between this place and his original world more vividly than ever.
“Still, to think you have even forgotten such common sense… Memory loss is a terrifying thing…”
“Ahaha, it doesn’t really feel real to me, though.”
“Ah, forgive me… How careless of me to be so lacking in consideration for you…”
With that, Firis lowered her head, looking a bit dejected.
“No, no, please don’t let it bother you.”
“Thank you, but rest easy. I am on your side, after all.”
Sota gave a wry smile as Firis puffed out her chest with pride. Sota had decided to keep the fact that he was a person from another world a secret from Firis.
…Or rather, that’s just how things had turned out. When Sota had mentioned Japan before, he couldn’t forget the look she gave him—one that felt like she was looking at a pitiable person (though that wasn’t actually the case)—and so he settled into this “memory loss” alibi.
By claiming he didn’t know things, he could avoid difficult explanations regarding the tools he carried, and since there were no inconveniences so far, he decided this setup was fine. This was also to avoid the risk that, in the Kingdom of Vedna where they were headed, there might be those who would want to take him apart just to see the structural differences between an “otherworlder” and a local male.
Sota understood deeply from his intimacy and conversations with Firis that his sexual desire was on a completely different level than the men of Yggdrasil. He speculated that this was because the fundamental physical makeup of himself and the men of Yggdrasil was different. No matter how much individual variation there was in libido, the amount of semen produced shouldn’t differ that much between two healthy bodies.
Furthermore, there was Firis’s physical ability shown in the fight against the Imperial soldiers.
That was a power that no human in Sota’s world, no matter how exceptional, could ever exert. The specs of the people in Yggdrasil and Sota were fundamentally different. They might be compatible, but if you were to cut them open, completely different things might come out.
Thinking about that made Sota afraid of identifying as a person from another world. Of course, he trusted and relied on Firis, but if he didn’t have to say it out loud, it was for the best.
Sota Akitsuki, a resident of Tokyo, swore to himself that he would live in Yggdrasil as peacefully as possible without making waves. Well, after engaging in such intense sexual activity, it might be a bit much to ask for a “peaceful” life at this point…
“Shall we head out soon? I’ll lead the way. Follow me.”
“Ah, before that, Firis-san.”
“What is it?”
“This…”
Sota pulled something out of his rucksack. It was the silver-white armor that Firis had been wearing when he first met her, the same armor she had been stripped of. At that moment, Firis’s almond-shaped eyes involuntarily went round.
“You brought that along?”
“I just felt it would be a waste to leave it…”
“How did it fit in there… is it some kind of magic?”
“I just shoved it in as tight as I could. I had to throw away a few other things, though.”
“Sota, you are quite skilled at packing.”
“Kinda.”
With that, Sota handed the armor over to Firis.
“This… it must be something very important to you, right?”
On the chest of the armor, the crest of a lion—the symbol of the Kingdom of Vedna—was engraved. This was something handed to her by Her Majesty the Queen when Firis was granted the rank of General. Of course it was important. This armor was her pride itself.
“Yes.”
Firis nodded strongly and accepted it. The weight she felt in her hands was more pleasant than usual. Even though it would have been fine to leave such a thing behind, Sota had held onto it out of consideration for her. From a survival standpoint, it was, quite frankly, a poor move. However, right now, Firis couldn’t help but find that meddling to be incredibly comforting.
Receiving this armor for the first time from the Majesty she revered, and for the second time from the man she loved—for her, there was no greater, more supreme joy. A gentle wave of emotion filled Firis’s heart.
“Thank you, Sota.”
Firis dawned the armor while wearing a soft smile.

“Shall we go?”
Receiving the morning sun, the silver-white armor gleaming with a dull light displayed Firis’s bravery more than ever before. Her expression was vividly full of confidence, having matured both as a knight and as a woman. The sword that should have been at her waist was gone. However, she could protect him even without such a thing. In fact, she could fly anywhere as long as the man she loved, Sota, was by her side.
Firis slowly reached her hand out to Sota. Sota was momentarily captivated by that slender, graceful hand.
“Yes, let’s go.”
He took that hand firmly.
