Yelling And Mariko.
“Oo… Ouu… Ouu…”
“….”
Minai, seated next to me, stood up unsteadily as if she were a ghost.
Somehow I could imagine what was to come, so I decided to cover both ears early.
“It’s OVER!!”
The classmates looked at Minai with a shocked look on their faces when she suddenly shouted that.
No wonder.
Even though I was defending myself, it was so loud that it must have been an actual explosion.
But still, this girl is not shy about doing what she does, as usual.
“It’s over, Yuuga-chi!”
“You are too loud.”
As Minai was about to come crying to me, I reached out and gave her a head chop.
Minai moaned, “Uwaa!” and then she held her head and became teary-eyed.
“Yuuga-chi, you are terrible…”
“I know it’s over, so be quiet.”
“T-That’s why! We’re finally free! We’re free!”
“But your voice is still too loud.”
Even as we were talking, people were leaving the classroom in droves.
Most of them, like Minai, looked as if a weight had been lifted from their shoulders.
All the final examinations were over, and winter vacation would soon be upon us.
Perhaps because it is the end of the year, not a few of them are in high spirits.
“Yay! Yuuga, Minami-chan, Good Job!!”
What can I say, he is one of them.
Haruomi came to us in a good mood against the crowd of people leaving the classroom.
“Senba-kun! Good job!”
“Well, this is good. No red marks this time.”
“Me, too! I’m sure I’m safe in Japanese history, too.”
“I guess it’s all thanks to Yuuga tution classes.”
“And Shizuki tuition classes!”
At Minai’s words, we glanced toward the fancy gals.
They seemed to be gathering as usual, discussing where they were going.
In the midst of all this, Shizuki looked at us for a moment and seemed to say something with her mouth agape.
“Go?”
“What did she say?”
“Probably ‘Good Job to you guys’ I guess.”
That’s about all you can say about them, mouth movement-wise.
The fancy gals went on their way, laughing with ease.
Well, I’m going back home as soon as I can.
“Oh, Yuuga. Let’s have another group call tonight. We’ll make Christmas plans!”
“If I remember, I’ll join.”
“Even if you don’t remember, look at your phone!”
I raised my hand to Minai and left the classroom.
I think I’m going to do part time today for the first time in a while.

“It’s Eats and Eats.”
“Thank you as always.”
A middle-aged woman waved me off with a smile, and I left the apartment.
She is a customer to whom I have made several deliveries, and she always orders the same oyakodon.
I imagine that she is probably a manga artist, judging from the pen she sometimes comes out with in her hand.
Today’s delivery went well, and I was able to handle quite a few projects from my base in front of the station.
Perhaps it’s because I’m getting used to it, but my efficiency is improving, and I think I’m starting to accumulate quite a bit of money.
It is sad that I don’t have much to use it for, but I might as well use it for Manga.
With this in mind, I ran slowly in front of the station.
I’ll wait a bit and do at least one more if I get an order.
“Ahh”
Then suddenly I heard such a voice behind me and I reflexively turned around.
In a case like this, it almost certainly had nothing to do with me, but somehow I felt that the voice sounded familiar…
“…Ah.”
A high school girl a short distance away was looking at me.
I know her.
But this is probably the first time our eyes met.
“…Hasumi?”
The girl called my last name.
I wanted to do the same, but unfortunately, I only knew her first name.
I gave up gracefully, stopped pedaling my bicycle and kept quiet.
“Doing part-time?”
I had never talked to her before, but she naturally struck up a conversation with me.
This may be normal for normies.
I had nothing to feel guilty about…. well, so I answered.
“Yes, but…”
“Wow, you do this kind of thing too. For Eats and Eats, isn’t it?”
“Yeah.”
She had long brown hair, sharp eyes that looked bigger because of her makeup, and a short skirt.
She looked more relaxed than when we were in the classroom. She crossed her arms and looked at me in surprise.
“…You don’t know my name right?’
“I know your name. I don’t know your last name.”
“It’s Shinano. Shinano Mariko.”
Shinano shrugged his shoulders as she said it.
It was Mariko, one of the fancy gals whom Shizuki had called Yuka, Miki, and Mariko.
Of the three, she seemed relatively mature, a girl in a leadership position.
“You’re Hasumi Yuuga, right?”
“How did you know?”
“It’s the end of the second semester. I know who you are.”
“I see.”
Apparently I’m not normal.
Well, this is not my strong point, so I’ll make up for it with my strong points.
There is no such thing, though.
Shinano was wearing a coat over her school uniform.
Seeing that she has her school bag slung over her shoulder, she has probably been outside since after school.
I wondered if Shizuki had already gone home.
I suddenly thought about that.
“So, what do you want?”
If you don’t have anything to do, I’m leaving.
The line was intended with such an implication, but Shinano approached me and said casually.
“Do you have time now?
“It depends on what you want to…”
“Heh. So you won’t reject it depending on what it is.”
“……”
“It’s about Miori. So, are you up?”
Shinano had an emotionless expression on her face.
In contrast, my face was probably filled with impatience, embarrassment, or something else that was not convenient for me.
