Chuunibyou's Odyssey: From Mundane to Invincible in Another World

As soon as daylight broke, we all set out for Rosalina’s former sect.

When I asked if she was okay with fighting against her old sect, Rosalina said, “I don’t care about any of them, Master. I only care about you!”

I thought Rosalina cared about her old sect in some way, but she was more focused on fighting Caroline and didn’t care about the sect at all.

We got to the scene quickly, despite Rosalina and Caroline’s bantering.

When we got there, the gate was closed. A huge gate made of pure iron stood and served as the sect’s entrance, but Rosalina didn’t think twice before cutting it in half.

Rosalina sliced the solid iron gate in two with the ease of slicing butter.

Caroline merely humphed as if nothing had happened, and Rosalina glanced at me as if she were expecting praise.

With a pat on the head, I told Rosalina, “Very good.”

Then, like a child showing off a new toy to her friends, Rosalina looked at Caroline to make her envious.

“Let’s go inside,” Caroline said, trying not to show her jealousy.

As soon as we walked through the gate, we were met by a horde of disciples led by the sect leader, Bruno.

Bruno was known to be very strict.

“I didn’t expect my former student to be here, and I’m even more surprised to see your master alive,” Bruno teased Rosalina.

“How nice of you to worry about my new master, but why don’t you worry about your disciples instead? They’re getting weaker and weaker.”

Bruno tried to hide his anger by smirking.

“Cough, cough,” I coughed to get their attention.

“Why would a master like you join a bunch of bad sects to wipe out the good sects?”

The first question that came to mind was the one I asked.

I was about to become a supporting character in my story, and I didn’t even have time to elaborate on anything. I hope I asked the right question.

“It’s strange that you’re picking up trash from my sect for me,” Bruno said, when he saw that he couldn’t make Rosalina mad, he switched his target.

I laughed out loud when I heard that, “Even though she was trash, she managed to humiliate your sect at the ceremony. I hope your disciple is all right.”

Rosalina and Caroline also started laughing out loud and didn’t try to hold it in.

“Even a useless disciple can be useful in the hands of Master Sorah. He is a real master,” Caroline made fun of Bruno and Rosalina at the same time.

This was the first time Caroline had been so open about making fun of Rosalina.

When I first met Caroline, I never thought she would do that. After all, she was always polite. She must have changed because of Rosalina’s company.

One of Bruno’s disciples went after Rosalina because he was sick of seeing Bruno get humiliated.

Rosalina was still weak in their eyes, so he went after her.

He tried to cut off Rosalina’s head, but she fought back with her bare hands against the sword.

Then, Rosalina pressed the sword until it broke.

“That can’t be, I thought you were weak.” The boy couldn’t believe his surprise.

He must have been surprised when the girl, who was supposed to be weak, just broke her sword like it was nothing.

Rosalina, thank you for acting such a badass scene.

I was proud as I looked at Rosalina.

When Rosalina saw me looking at her, she punched the boy in the stomach, which hurled him away and made a more badass scene. Then she looked at me, hoping to be praised. (A/N: Rosalina has already gone crazy.)

Bruno went over to Rosalina, but I stopped him.

Now, it was my time to shine.

He tried to hit me with his sword, but his moves were very clumsy and easy to predict.

Seeing this, he tried to add mana to his sword and make it faster.

His moves got smoother, but they were still the same.

“That’s all you’ve got?” I made fun of him.

If he keeps this way, this event won’t be worth it, so I modified his sword in secret.

His moves were still predictable, but they worked better.

Observing that he was weaker than me, he started to make use of the terrain around him.

This is a good choice at last.

He started putting me in tight spots to use the terrain to his advantage, and when he was cornered, he used secret spots.

I could easily use that advantage to my advantage, but that would be boring.

It would be very boring if I ended this fight quickly, so I’ll wait a little longer.

He kept using the background noise until we got to the center of the sect.

He jumped on a building and said, “This will be your grave. Activate.”

As soon as he said it, the clouds started to transform and get darker. Then, from above, energy started to collect to form a huge sword that shadowed his whole sect. The sword was absorbing all the energy from the buildings.

I would ask for this spell to end if I destroyed them, but that would be a waste of time.

“Yeah, I expected this kind of thing to happen.” It was worth not killing you right away.

“Die,” he said, and the sword slowly fell until it hit me.

To his bad luck, my body naturally pushed back against the sword.

“That was a great show; congrats to you, and I’ll do the same for you,” I told him. With a simple swing of my sword, I was able to stop his magic.

“I think I’ve seen this trick before, and it was my friend’s favorite,” I said. Then I started using the same magic, but I didn’t use any tools, just my mana.

I was able to make a sword almost twice as big as the one he made.

“How? Only that man could do something like that,” Bruno was shocked.

With just one swing of my sword, I was able to wipe out a whole part of his sect.

Every area around Bruno was completely destroyed. Houses were swept away as if by a tsunami/storm, and even the sect’s headquarters was half destroyed.

This event was a lot of fun.
