Believing She Has Been Reincarnated into a Baseball Game, My Little Sister Is Aiming for the Koshien, While I Give It My All to Keep Her from Finding out That It’s Actually an Ntr Game - Chapter 47
The following month, in short, was smooth sailing. Despite all the issues we had to deal with, things generally went well.
First, let’s talk about the baseball team. The members kept gaining muscle, and their physiques grew larger by the day.
In terms of hitting speed and distance, we’ve probably become the number one team in the prefecture.
As for my pitching speed, I can consistently throw in the 150-kilometer-per-hour range. With the addition of the high spin rate from the special extract, no student at the academy should be able to hit my pitches on the first try.
Regarding Nomo, ever since that day, he hasn’t shown me that strange aura again.
He’s been demonstrating his right-handed pitching in front of everyone and even tried it in practice games. Throwing in the 130-kilometer-per-hour range with both arms is impressive, but it’s nowhere near the brute power I saw that night.
Yeah, it was probably just a trick of the light or my exhaustion at the time that made him seem faster than he was.
Well, having a backup pitcher with more skills can only be seen as a stroke of luck for the team.
However, extending our practice time with a training camp turned out to be overkill and backfired.
While several players improved their defensive abilities, our starting third baseman, Kaneko, injured his ankle. He also seemed to have stomach pain every time he saw me, probably from overwork.
Thanks to Maika’s perfectly tailored upper-body strength training and rehab schedule, he should be ready by summer. But it did give me a bit of a scare.
Damn it, Kaneko. If your injury had caused Riko to stress over organizing the camp, what would we have done? Not that she cared—Riko only has eyes for me.
Riko volunteered to handle the equipment, but she forgot the rosin bag during one of our away games. It was a little clumsy of her, but it made her all the more cute—soft and adorable like mochi.
To be honest, it doesn’t matter how many mistakes Riko makes, because Maika always covers for her. All Riko needs to do is be cute. Even if other team members sigh at Riko’s mistakes, I’d get seriously angry and ruin the team atmosphere. But Maika always steps in, makes a sharp retort, and turns it into a joke, lightening the mood. She’s the perfect younger girlfriend who keeps the boss under her thumb—an indispensable character.
Besides, I don’t need the rosin bag anyway. I have the ultimate grip enhancer.
Maika has been getting better at collecting the special extract, skillfully adjusting the process.
Even in the face of my semen, she keeps her cool, knowing exactly when to stop me from finishing. I guess my keen sense for timing during these moments also plays a role. After each extraction, she rationally gives me the portion I need for the game, drinking the rest herself. Thanks to her, I’ve been able to control the strongest cheat adhesive substance without any accidents since our first practice match.
Maika, by regularly consuming the extract, manages to curb her desire for a baby, following Riko’s instructions to avoid anything sexual with me until summer is over. Truly, a rational woman.
Overcoming all these challenges has only made us stronger!
Of course, it’s not all hardships. There’s been some sweet romance, too.
Thanks to my efforts, the relationship between the student council president and Yogi’s brother has progressed well. It’s only a matter of time before they officially start dating.
The student council president, who seems quite pleased with Yogi’s scent even through his clothes, is also steadily making progress in her condom addiction recovery program.
Additionally, in response to my request, they added some suitable girls to the accounting and secretarial positions. Apparently, they’re the twin sisters of someone named Olivia. Just like their sister, they’re natural blondes. Honestly, these two must be characters meant for the next NTR storyline or something. What’s with this endless chain of NTR heroines?
Some team members were jealous of Yogi’s romance, but thanks to Maika’s arrangement with the cheerleading squad, they’ve started coming to support us during practice games, putting an end to those feelings.
Speaking of romance, Maika has been offering advice to Sakura Miyakotona on her love life.
As always, Nomo remains oblivious to his own feelings for her, while Riko teases Sakura for being so shy, unaware of Nomo’s affection. Sakura, on the verge of exploding, is always calmed down by Maika. I’ve seen this scenario unfold countless times, with Riko looking adorable as she joins in the girls’ talk.
Yeah, I haven’t really done anything. Maika is the true romance master here. Her own love story mostly involves drinking my semen, though.
All in all, despite a few hiccups, I’d say everything’s going smoothly.
By the way, my dad’s been feeling a bit down since work hasn’t been going well, but I’ve been letting him video chat with Riko occasionally, so I think he’ll be fine. Everything’s smooth sailing.
By mid-July, the training camp had ended, and we finally arrived at the summer prefectural qualifiers.
In the first round, we scored big in the opening inning with a barrage of hits and walks, while Nomo pitched flawlessly, leading us to a 10-0 victory in just five innings.
In our prefecture, two record keepers are allowed in the dugout, so just like other teams, Sakura handles the scorekeeping, while Maika takes care of behind-the-scenes duties. Well, let’s be real—Maika’s basically in charge of my personal tasks.
As expected, we got off to a great start.
Five more wins to Koshien.
Our next opponent? A powerhouse. The top-seeded team and likely the biggest obstacle on our path to Koshien—the strongest elite team in the prefecture, Sakugakuen, who made it to the quarterfinals of the spring Koshien tournament.
We won.
I pitched a complete game and hit a home run, securing a 3-2 victory.
Yogi’s mom and brother were in the stands to watch the game.
Yogi didn’t do anything flashy, but he didn’t let any passed balls slip by. Even the sweepers I threw that bounced in the dirt were stopped by his body and dropped in front of him. The new protective cup gifted by the student council president probably helped, but more than anything, it was a result of his hard work during our rigorous training.
Yogi reunited with his mother and brother after a long time, and the three of them embraced, crying tears of joy. His mother kept apologizing, while Yogi patted her back with a teary smile. His balls probably stunk. A cute ponytail girl in the stands muttered something about how his balls must reek during this emotional family moment.
Honestly, after the game, his balls must have been at their stinkiest. I was about to head over and greet Yogi’s mom with a crazy look on my face, but I stopped myself. I didn’t want to ruin the heartwarming scene with a ridiculous face, and more importantly, I didn’t want to let Yogi’s brother get too close just yet.
Well, it’s only a matter of time before Yogi and the student council president have a shotgun wedding or something, so meeting later would probably be best.
Everything’s still going well.
Sakura cried like a baby after the second-round victory, while Maika, wearing a composed expression, teased me about throwing too many pitches despite her red eyes. Riko, waving a fan with “Nii-san” and “Sole Leader” written on it, smiled at me with a radiant expression, unlike that day. I did remind her to take better care of her skin against the sun. I’ve got to protect her soft, mochi-like skin!
Our next opponent in the third round is a no-seed public school with decent pitching but weak hitting. Nomo can handle that game with ease.
I plan to pitch all three games from the quarterfinals onward. Maika isn’t too happy about it, but in high school baseball, one loss ends everything. There’s no room for compromise here.
Besides, Riko is cheering for me, saying, “Give every pitch your all and take us all the way to Koshien!”
I’m going to take Maika and Riko to Koshien, no matter what!
