The major incident from yesterday was playing on the news. It was a scene from the countermeasure operation against Radiant Beasts in the Hokuriku Region. The scene was edited to show the Drive Knights flipping their RVs around in a very cool way as a beast resembling a wild dog fell down in the forest and was transported into a cage.

“Oh, it’s a huge armor and armorless cavalryman. It’s not like there’s a giant ogre inside, right?”

“It’s just a normal human inside operating that big armor suit. You don’t know anything about this?”

“Nope. My complaints towards God just went up a notch.”

“It’s not that straightforward though. Anyway, since EF is being used more often, it’s becoming more sought after even though it’s dangerous to obtain. As I said before, nowadays even the Steel Knight-Type RV uses it. Though, thinking about it, it’s a little strange.”

“Really? It’s like killing a dragon to make a weapon out of its teeth and then going back to kill another dragon for more. I think it makes sense.”

“I guess you could put it that way…”

At some point, the news changed from the Radiant Beast to something else.

It was about an idol becoming a chef for a day. It didn’t interest Sheena, so she began to wander around the room with her tapioca milk tea. She looked through the shelves and under the bed. She was still wearing the racy t-shirt, which made it difficult to look at her. If she bent forward slightly, I would almost see her toned stomach, navel, and the two bulges from the gap in the front where the fabric hung down with their heavy weight. The movie was over in a flash. Sheena seemed to have enjoyed herself from beginning to end.

“Why? It was fun. I liked how the annoying human and the orc were both wiped out at the end.”

“I see.”

While trying to keep my composure, I tried my best to hold back the urge to scream. The deepest part of my chest was bewildered by the stimulus I had never received before. “Like I said, I don’t really mind, Rensuke. It’s not a bad thing to get to know you, my only partner, in fact, it is a good thing. And we’ll be able to get along much better. … So, what should we do, partner?”
