Another World’s Highest Guild Leader ~I’m the weakest in the guild, but I can’t quit the guild because of the heavy love of all the guild members~ - Chap 43: Apparently Furious
“Is it over?”
The 20 Minotaurs had their heads blown off and lay motionless.
“It seems they died instantly.”
“So fatal wounds can’t be healed, huh…”
I thought it would be more exciting, but what a letdown.
“I developed a potion to enhance monsters, but… Tsk, it’s useless…”
When I looked at the king, he was muttering something.
“Is this the end? Or is there more?”
“Hmph… This is the end. The main battle will be between the remaining eight and the four from the East, West, South, and North. We’ll take a break for maintenance…”
The king spoke with a hint of regret and then disappeared into the back.
“What is wrong with the education of Beastmen!!”
Sitting back in an expensive-looking chair and yelling was the king.
As injured Beastmen were being carried away one after another, he was shouting at what seemed to be the relevant Beastmen.
“Have Beastmen’s abilities fallen this much!”
Humans had quickly done what the Beastmen couldn’t, further infuriating the king.
His sharp eyes and imposing aura made the surrounding Beastmen shrink back.
“At this rate, the marriage will be prevented. Maybe…”
“Father…”
“Hmph… Yuyu.”
Yuyu and Fel enter the room from behind her. All eyes were on them.
“This foolish daughter, meddling in unnecessary matters…”
The king raised his fist, but Fel stepped in between.
“What do you want, human woman? Don’t interfere.”
“I will interfere. It looks like Yuyu is about to be subjected to violence.”
Clicking his tongue, the king lowered his fist.
“You’re hanging around with that masked guy and those two failures, right?”
“Failures? Don’t you mean talents?”
“Silence!”
Frustrated by Fel’s unflinching demeanor, the king stands up.
“You’re probably just relying on your weapons. The main battle will be a pure test of strength without weapons. Heh, this will show just how incompetent you are. Especially that masked man… I will only be satisfied if his opponent makes him suffer. I can’t let such an ordinary guy go unscathed.”
The surrounding Beastmen also raise their voices, following the king. Fel’s bright, beautiful, amber eyes gradually darken. Her expression is no longer the sweet, infatuated one she had for Crow; it’s terrifying, even oppressive. The Beastmen standing behind her are visibly frightened.
“Could you please stop insulting Crow?”
“Huh? …!”
Chills run down their spines.
Now devoid of light, Fel’s eyes lock onto the king and don’t let go.
“What are you… you’re not just a human, are you?”
“I am just a human. Weak, easily betrayed, and abandoned… just a frail human. However, I won’t tolerate any blasphemy against Crow.”
Her aura makes it instantly clear how powerful she is and how much she reveres Crow. And it scares them.
“I’m looking forward to the main battle.”
With a slight smile, Fel leaves the room with Yuyu. The tense, heavy atmosphere lifts as if it were a lie.
“Damn it, I’m the one running this tournament. Struggle all you want…”
“He seems to have calmed down quite a bit.”
Sitting in the seats prepared for the competitors, we eat lunch.
The main event is about to begin. The matchups will apparently be announced over the broadcast.
“It’s Horus’s turn, isn’t it?”
We watch as Horus emerges from the entrance to the arena.
