“Well, Tarasque looks pretty weak compared to a Forest Dragon though.”

The boss of Inokashira Dungeon was a two-headed Forest Dragon on the 30th floor. 

“Well, I’ve only seen the main boss when it was stronger than usual because of the dungeon rampage. I’m comparing Tarasque to the multi-headed Forest Dragon.”

Koto hit the boss’ severed head with her battle axe several times until eventually, we could hear the sound of the boss’ skull shattered. The sound echoed within this enclosed space and the boss finally died.

“Oh. We finally managed to defeat it.”

〈As usual, that fanfare sounds ridiculously silly.〉

“Phoenix Feather?! That’s a rare skill!”

I couldn’t stop myself from shouting out loud. 

“That skill is practically a miracle. You can come back to life once after you die.”

“”You can come back to life after dying?!””

All two of them shouted in unison. 

“Yeah. It’s probably one of those skills that everyone would kill for.”
