When I had brought from the 21st floor was a Mega Troll, a higher species of normal troll.

“Hm? I brought a monster from the deep level ,just like what I told you guys I would, right?”

“I-I thought you’re going to restrain it first?!”

〈I told you not to do this.〉

〈Anyone would be scared if a Mega Troll suddenly appear. LMAO〉

〈Especially if it walked up the stairs by itself.〉

I tilted my head in confusion and checked the comments. I was immediately greeted with a storm of criticism. The comments said I needed to show a bit of consideration toward the girls.

“Ah, sorry about that. You don’t need to worry. This troll is not going to fight back. I’m controlling it temporary using a skill called ‘Monster Domination’.”

“I-I see… I was so surprised.”

〈That’s definitely a rare skill no matter how I wrap my head around it.〉

What I just took out was a weapon I had prepared for Koto, but when I handed it to her, the weapon looked really comical in her hand. Koto was of average height for a girl. The massive battle axe didn’t suit her delicate appearance.

The axe was made of mithril, a relatively lightweight material, but of course. No matter how lightweight mithril was, it was still heavy considering how big it was. Someone who had just awakened would’ve been struggling to just lift it out, but Koto was able to hoist it easily. 

“Amazing… I’ve never used an axe before and yet, it feels like I’ve been using it for a long time…”

Koto murmured. Right. When she awakened, Koto acquired two skills. The first skill was ‘Axe Skill’ and the second skill was ‘Titan Strength’. Axe Skill, well as the name suggested, it was a skill for using axes while Titan Strength granted her the strength of a titan. Basically, she was as strong as a titan who was good at using the axes.

“Alright. Try to kill the Mega Troll with that axe.”

“O-Okay… I will give it a try.”

By the way, there was an ongoing debate whether delivering the final blow to the monsters would grant you more experience points or not. This was the so-called ‘last hit bonus’. Personally speaking, I didn’t think there was any significant difference between it, but still, it was better than nothing at all.

Koto hit the Mega Troll right on its head with the battle axe.

The dying Mega Troll rolled its eyes back and collapsed to the ground with a loud thud. It seemed the troll had died. By the way, the effect of Monster Domination skill also disappeared once the monsters died. Which meant, I couldn’t control its corpse. 

“Di-Did I do it..?”

“Yeah. You took it down exceptionally well, especially for a first timer. Not to mention, you aimed straight for its weak spot—the head. Amazing. What a very bold move indeed.”

I thought given Koto’s personality, she would hesitate even more than this. I definitely didn’t expect she would aim for the head either. Many awakened individuals struggle to take a life, even if the opponent was a monster. Especially for a first timer. It would be terribly hard to kill something even after awakening. Hence why not all awakened individuals decided to pursue the path of an explorer. 

“With this, we should be able to level you up significantly today. Alright. Next up, that one.”

I said while kicking aside the dead Mega Troll. After that, an enormous spider monster came into view. 

“A Queen Tarantula?! Wait… On second thought, I think there are even more monsters lined up behind it?!”

Miku Kanamoto exclaimed she realized what had happened. Yes. It wasn’t just a Mega Troll. I actually had taken control of several monsters and brought them here altogether.
