The Protagonist. He is a high school student who loves literature and dreams of becoming a novelist in the future. It’s not that he isn’t good at exercising or studying, but intends to neglect both in order to prioritize his reading and writing activities. When he concentrates on things, he becomes so deeply involved in them that the voices around him become non-existent. He often feels inferior when compared, but he is not pessimistic.

The Heroine. She is beautiful and talented. She has a good face and personality, and she is popular with both men and women. From the beginning of her enrollment, she has been confessed to by a noteworthy number of boys. However, there was no information about anyone succeeding. She is called “Takane no Hana” because of those facts and her name aligns eerily with each other, but she doesn’t really like that.

Likes: Going out with her stepbrother on holidays

The sub-Heroine. The one-year younger stepsister of the protagonist. She admires her stepbrother, Shiranui Amane. Usually, she would like her stepbrother to pay more attention to her, however, she often holds back on those desires because she knows that once he concentrates, he won’t/can’t pay attention to his surroundings. For that reason, she would often invite her stepbrother to go out on holidays.
