- Chapter 94- Clearing the first base
Hiroto packed the two thugs along with the betrayer and Yuichi under a desk so they remain hidden if someone walked by.
Naturally, he had changed his appearance and now looked like the Protagonist in order to not let a different route for the heroines arise. The reason why he was given this artifact was to make the heroines stick with Yuichi. Most importantly, Suzu.
Initially, Hiroto was considering using a face mask for this operation but now, Yuichi’s face was the best mask for him.
‘Damn….this sudden bulk is a little….’ Jumping on his feet, Hiroto got used to this a little extra weight. Yuichi has a slightly buffed body with thick arms and a broad chest. Although it wasn’t problematic to move around, this sudden shift in body proportion was slightly uncomfortable.
*Bzzt*
[Copy Kalzer. Where are you?]
He suddenly heard the military radio which he extracted from the cigar-smoking terrorist.
He coughed twice before pressing the button,
“This is Kalzer. I am done here. Reporting in ten, over.” He mimicked the voice he took time to observe from the shadows.
And as he expected,
[Heard you, over.]
They didn’t suspect a thing.

There were sixteen assailants in this mission and a total of twenty classrooms. That’s why, apart from the class from where Suzu was abducted, all the students from other classes were gathered around in one place and a soldier was stationed around them.
Two were patrolling on the ground floor and two on the first. The duo that was sent to kill Yuichi was responsible for patrolling the third floor where the teacher’s staff room was also located. And in that staff room was the boss of this group along with two more invaders.
Hiroto, as Kalzer, said he would report to the staff room in ten minutes but naturally he couldn’t. That’s why within these few minutes he has to exterminate all the terrorists before moving to the boss.

The footsteps of the shrouded man echoed in the lobby of the ground floor. The other one who was stationed, remained standing at one place and looked out of the school windows.
The police have already surrounded the school, but no demands have been made yet. The group leader plans to raise his demands once the news of the incident spreads and reaches the intended target for whom the ambushers took over the school.
The one who was walking in the lobby with a rifle in his hand, reached near the staircase when suddenly he heard the sound of a coin being flipped.
“Hmm?” He looked towards the stairs with a puzzled look, trying to discern where that sound came from—only to notice a barely visible thread passing down his eyes and wrapping itself around his neck.
His eyes widened but before he could have panicked or raised the alarm, the thin wire dug inside his flesh with great ferocity, and a leg was pressed against the man’s back.
“Khuk!!” Blood poured down his severed neck as ‘Yuichi’ kept on pulling the wire until the man didn’t stop flailing.
Once he ensured that he was dead he slowly pulled the body under the stairs.
The other assailant who was looking out of the window, felt that his partner had gone for too long which urged him to look to his left—
*PSCH*
—only to find a barrel touching his forehead and in the next moment, something traveled past the gun barrel and entered his head.
The man crumbled on the ground with life exhausting away from his eyes.
Yuichi lowered his body and slowly was about to drag the body away when suddenly the door of the classroom, which was just parallel to where he killed the assailant, slid open.
Yuichi narrowed his eyes and dropped the body before leaping toward the door and in one big leap, he was present before the assailant who opened the door.
On instinct the terrorist tried to shoot at Yuichi, however, the latter was quick to slide his finger behind the trigger to stop him from making the gun sound. With his free hand, Yuichi pulled a dagger which in the next moment, dug inside the assailant’s eye.
“Uaaaaaaghh-mmffffd!” Yuichi stuffed his mouth with a revolver he stole from the previous one before pushing the terrorist inside the classroom—much to the student’s astonishment as they gasped in unison.
“Y-Yuichi-senpai?!” Someone recognized him and called out. However, upon seeing Yuichi pressing his finger against his lips, they shut their mouth instantly.
Yuichi pulled out his gun from the holster which had a silencer attached to it, and under the horrified gaze of the students, he shot the terrorist thrice in the head.
The scene was brutal and many of the students felt nauseous at the scene. However, Yuichi couldn’t care less what they thought. They could only show their disgust if they remained alive.
Yuichi got up and neared the teachers who were bound to be separated from the others.
“Remain silent and don’t try to break your restraints. One single mistake and everyone will die, understand?”
The one he specifically talked to was the coach of the baseball team. In response to Yuichi’s words, the coach hesitantly nodded with sweat coating his face.
Yuichi looked around a bit and found that there were ambushers stationed outside the school building as well. However, since killing them would get noticed easily, he decided to deal with them at last.
He drew the curtains so they couldn’t see what had happened in the classroom before walking out.
Ignoring the whispers and muffled sobs, Yuichi focused on the task at hand. He knew that hesitation could mean disaster. Moving swiftly and silently, he crept toward the hallway, ears straining for any sound that might give away the location of the remaining terrorists.
As he ascended the floor, he spotted the two assailants, guns drawn, whispering to each other. Without a moment’s hesitation, Yuichi lunged forward, his movements a blur. The first terrorist barely had time to register his presence before Yuichi disarmed him with a swift kick, sending the weapon skittering across the floor. The second terrorist turned, eyes wide with shock, but Yuichi was faster, delivering a precise blow to his neck which made him choke and fall on his knee.
The one whom he disarmed pressed the radio to alert others—only to get shocked upon not finding any response.
Yuichi was in a rush so he naturally didn’t bother explaining the reason before he took out a small knife and stabbed the man’s neck. And to finish the task, a bullet in the head.
The other one wasn’t able to recover quickly and as a result, he suffered from a severed neck as well which sent him to his maker.
Now that he was done with the floor security, only the classroom where Kaori was kept remained.
‘I hope she doesn’t start hating Yuichi..’ Uttering under his breath, he pulled the knives and got prepared for another confrontation.
