After rebirth, I confessed to the losing heroine

Yuichi was feeling helpless and was left with no other option than to bring the girls to his place.

It feels so bad that Yuichi wishes that no one from the apartment sees him.

However, considering that the three girls surrounding him were extremely beautiful and eye-catching, Yuichi knew that gaining attention was inevitable.

Yuichi was guiding them inside the apartment building when suddenly he felt his phone buzzing.

Once he entered the elevator, he took out his phone, and amidst the banter of the three girls he checked the message…which was from Hiroto.

Yuichi frowned and the change of his expression was noticed by the other three as they became silent.

Just as the elevator bell dinged, signaling that they had reached their destination, Yuichi pocketed his phone and told Kaori,

“Kaori…take Minami and Suzu inside. I have some urgent work to attend.” As he said he handed the room keys to Kaori.

Startled, Kaori asked, “But what happened? You look worried.”

Yuichi knew they would worry if he left without telling them, so he confessed, “It’s Hiroto…he said he wanted my help. So I am going there; you guys wait for me.”

As Yuichi urged, everyone got off the elevator and after pressing the ground floor button, Yuichi disappeared behind the metal doors.

Kaori felt a little troubled for some reason. Hiroto wasn’t the type of person to joke about things like this. And if he said that it was an emergency then the case must be severe.

As she was unlocking the door, the redhead childhood friend of Yuichi asked, “This Hiroto guy…why does Yu-chan give him so much importance.”

“I have the same question. I know that they are good friends but I have seen Yu-kun giving Hiroto-kun importance, over us as well.”

Minami followed with that question which genuinely surprised Kaori. She could understand that Suzu was new to their circle…but well, Minami had always been a part of different classes for the past two years and this year as well.

Kaori wore a soft smile on her face as she opened the door. In a quiet tone, that didn’t break the serenity of the silent house she replied, “Hiro-kun has always been and always been someone important to Yu-kun. They aren’t just friends but more like brothers so if you don’t want to displease Yu-kun then never come between those two.”

Suzu and Minami froze at their places after they heard ‘displease Yu-kun’ and glanced at each other.

Never come between Yuichi and Hiroto, they resolved.

The place where Hiroto called him wasn’t far away and the route was from across the local streets so Yuichi jogged his way to the place.

In the text, Hiroto clearly states that there is something he needs immediate assistance with and provided him with an address.

Hiroto only calls for Yuichi’s help when it becomes too dire—unlike Yuichi who doesn’t feel ashamed in asking for Hiroto’s help even in trivial matters like solving the quarrels around him.

Just as he was about to turn from the corner of the street, he heard a familiar voice, “Get lost, losers!”

It was Satomi who seemed to have gotten entangled with a bunch of delinquents.

‘Hm?’ The way she was grabbed made him frown as he realized that Satomi was getting sexually assaulted her.

Without a second thought, he walked into their field of vision and said,

“Assaulting a school girl in daylight…you sure got balls of steel.”

Once their eyes were drawn to him, Yuichi took the benefit of their shock to pull Satomi away.

“Ah…” For some reason, she was more astounded than the goons.

“Hey…keep your hands off our catch.”

‘Catch? Damn….’ The hand that was about to grab Satomi’s arm again was grabbed by Yuichi before, with a smiling face, he bent the goon’s wrist upward with such a force that made the victim’s eyes bulge out.

“Aarghhhhh!!” He staggered back while holding his injured wrist before another goon tried to punch Yuichi.

“Take this you bitch ass!” Yuichi tilted his head and the punch went flying past him as the teenage guy grabbed the deliquent’s throat and after detaching himself from Satomi, Yuichi slapped the man hard and loudly.

*THWAP*

The reverberation of that slap resonated across the street and the man who received the assault fell to the ground in an instant—with his tormented cheek now flaming red.

The other three delinquents backed away upon seeing their comrades falling so easily.

“Wanna continue?” Yuichi said as he began to fold his shirt sleeve—preparing to have a light spar now that he had the opportunity.

However, “Fuck! Stay away, you molester!”

“Yes! We will fill an assault case to the police, just wait!” The three still unharmed goons carried their brethren and while warning and threatening Yuichi they dashed away.

“Pfft-hahahaha!” Satomi could no longer hold her laughter upon seeing their changed temperament.

Yuichi heaved a sigh of relief that the blond girl wasn’t severely affected by the assault she had to face as he asked her, “You were going home right? Let me accompany you.”

Satomi wiped the tears formed at the corner of her eyes before she shook her head, “No…it’s okay. My place is just right around the corner.”

“No, but still. There is a chance that they might be waiting somewhere for us to go separate routes so they can attack you again.”

Hearing Yuichi’s reasoning Satomi sobered up as she said with her brows raised, “You are…actually considerate toward people who aren’t your lovers.”

“Hey!” Yuichi grumbled much to her amusement.

They continued to chat and walk toward the blond one’s house—completely unaware of a pair of eyes looking at them from afar.

As Hiroto saw Yuichi and Satomi merrily chatting and walking together, he removed binoculars and nodded in satisfaction.

This was how things were meant to be.

Suddenly he felt his phone buzzing and without looking at the caller’s name, he answered the phone,

“Hmm.”

[Boss, we did as you said.]

Hiroto grinned before he replied, “Good…now get yourself healed.”
