After rebirth, I confessed to the losing heroine - Chapter 45- Scold
Ryuuske was a friend of Miyuki ever since she was in middle school and he was in high school. He used to visit her house along with his mother on several occasions and due to their common interest in literature, Miyuki was able to comfortably converse with him.
Today, when she was suddenly called back from school she recalled that the senior was arriving today as such her mother sent her to pick him up.
…Miyuki had her suspicion.
However, she couldn’t just outwardly reject her mother and Ryuuske was not some stranger to her, that’s why she texted Hiroto about it and went to the airport.
After meeting with him, Ryuuske asked her to accompany him to lunch since in the evening he might need to leave for Kyoto where his grandparents live.
However, little Miyuki expected to see Hiroto here…more so, with a girl beside him.
The tension in the atmosphere was quite heavy as it was Ryuuske who suddenly called out,
“Umm, do you know them Miyuki?”
Hiroto frowned at that. His eyes had a glint that made the other two startled. However, Miyuki was herself staring at Hiroto with a gaze that could make one shiver in fear.
The two remained silent for a moment before Miyuki decided to break the ice as she walked toward Hiroto, and after wrapping her arm around his, she declared,
“He is my boyfriend, Takeda Hitoto-kun.”
This statement was originally directed toward Minami, however, she didn’t have any visible reaction. If anyone, then it was Ryuuske who frowned upon the declaration.
“Takeda…isn’t he your ex-fiance?” Ryuuske remembered hearing that surname from his mother and also the fact that the relationship between Shirogane and the Takeda family had been severed.
“Does that bother you?” Hiroto asked, as he clasped his hand with Miyuki’s and kept his eyes constant on Ryuuske.
Ryuuske looked uncomfortable being directed with such hostility as he suggested, “Miyuki…I think it’s better if we postpone this chat for later. I have some work to finish.”
Saying so, Ryuuske didn’t wait for Miyuki’s response and after turning away in a dramatic manner, he walked out.
Seeing the turn of events, Minami also bowed and excused herself.
Once they left, Hiroto suggested, “Why don’t we move to a more isolated place and continue this chat?”
Miyuki’s response was swift, “Oh, I would love that Hiro-kun~”
As such, the two soon exited the cafe and moved toward the nearest Love Hotel to continue their conversation.

After leaving the cafe, Ryuuske boarded the car and told the driver to head toward the airport.
With his phone attached to his ear, Ryuusks impatiently tapped his index finger against his thigh while waiting for the other party to pick up the call.
[Hello, Ryuu? How is your da-]
“She is dating someone.” The impatient voice of Ryuuske suggested his current mood. His facial expression was stiff and his body posture remained tense.
The other side remained silent for a moment before suggesting,
[I will talk to Shirogane Souma-san today. Don’t worry, as I promised, she will be yours.]
With his hold tightening on his phone Ryuuske responded in a heavy voice,
“She better be.”

Not a single word traveled between the two as they remained standing in the elevator which was taking them to the third floor.
Their hands were clasped tightly all the time as Hiroto pulled Miyuki out of the elevator and led her to the room.
The lobby was entirely empty as they walked in silence and stood before the room with the number, ‘301’.
Inserting the passkey, Hiroto opened the door before walking in, followed by Miyuki.
However, just as the door closed, the serenity between the two was abruptly broken as Hiroto pinned Miyuki to the door, once it was closed.
Miyuki didn’t show resistance nor she looked surprised. She expected…and enjoyed such a reaction from her lover. It showed, how much he loved her to get possessive over seeing her with someone else.
“Who was he?” His tone was unlike what she was accustomed to.
Without blinking even once, she responded, “My mother’s friend’s son, Ryuuske. He has been studying in Oxford and visited his hometown for some kind of celebration. I was told by my mother to greet him at the airport and accompany him for a short while. Since I have a good relationship with him, as a friend, I didn’t show reluctance.”
Miyuki told him everything honestly without leaving any details. There was nothing special about the relationship she had with Ryuuske, as such, there was not a tinge of guilt in her voice.
She believed it was natural for her lover to know about whom she met and whom she associated with. After all, in a relationship, this much should be allowed right?
“And you didn’t even find it important to tell me?”
Miyuki tilted her head with a soft smile as she said, “Well only if Hiro-kun wouldn’t have been so occupied with that harlot, he must have noticed how many texts I sent him.”
Hiroto frowned before taking out his phone…and realizing that indeed Miyuki had sent him over twenty-six messages.
‘I must be talking to Minami at that time…’ As Miyuki said, he indeed has missed her messages.
*Shuffle*
Hiroto didn’t resist himself getting pushed backward before he was thrown on the bed with his Hime on top of him.
The crazed look in her eyes sent a shiver of excitement down his spine but he refrained from grabbing her waist and pushing her down.
Miyuki sensed his growing heat but she was not going to give in to his desire…until she doesn’t get her answers.
“So…what is your excuse this time?”
Her fingernail traced his jawline as she muttered in a cynical voice.
Hiroto sighed before repeating something he had told before, “For Yuichi’s future I need to ensure that the girls around him don’t do something out of order. Please trust me when I say this, I would never meet a girl in your absence until it’s not very important.”
Her fist has already gripped his shirt over his chest.
For some reason, Yuichi has begun to annoy Miyuki now. For Hiroto, that person seemed to hold a very special place….and Miyuki was now losing her cool.
“Miyuki…” Miyuki’s trance broke as she heard his heavy scolding voice, which made her startled for a moment.
While keeping his stone-cold eyes fixated on her, he relayed something important,
“Under whatever circumstances, you won’t try to harm Yuichi or the people he holds dear…promise me.”
Those eyes…Miyuki knew Hiroto wouldn’t take anything except for a ‘yes’. Although she knew there was something that binds Yuichi’s fate with Hiroto’s, until now, she didn’t give it much thought.
But now…
“Ugh! I got it! Now stop glaring at me!” With a pout, she turned her face away.
Unlike what she feared, Miyuki had a feeling that the most prominent love rival she would have to face was none other than Yuichi.
