After rebirth, I confessed to the losing heroine - Chapter 34- Miyuki\'s approach!
Miyuki was beyond elated when she woke up early in the morning.
Last night, she finally confessed her feelings for Hiroto.
It was a little too sudden and a little too unromantic, however, after what they went through, Miyuki was no longer able to hold herself.
The phenomenon of time travel was real. She herself had experienced it. And for some reason, only two people could regress in time.
‘It feels like, I and Hiroto-kun are connected by the threads of fate…’ While preparing lunch in the kitchen she hummed sweetly.
It was the first time. Miyuki prepared the bento herself. And not only one but she was making two of them.
“Y-Young lady..if Master sees you in the kitchen, I might end up losing my job.” The timid voice of the head chef reached her ears but didn’t make her falter from chopping the cabbage.
“Father won’t say anything to anyone. I will take the full blame so stop disturbing.” Hearing the cold voice of the young lady, the chef, and the other servants standing nearby, flinched before glancing at each other.
The young lady of the Shirogane family was far from what one could call, whimsical. However, seeing her suddenly getting all hyped up to prepare cabbage rolls made the chef think otherwise.
Unbothered by their thoughts, Miyuki hummingly prepared the lunch boxes for herself and her lover. She didn’t ask for his preference yesterday nor in the morning through call, since she wanted to surprise him.
‘Fufu~can’t wait.’

“Miyuki? Are you packing lunch for the whole class or something?” Yuki couldn’t help exclaiming upon seeing the three-decked two lunch boxes, her daughter was planning to store in her bag.
“No~it’s just for two people.” Miyuki nonchalantly answered as with a happy smile she took a picture of the two lunch boxes and placed them in her bag.
“Two…? Who is the other person having my daughter’s special meal?” Hearing the query from her mother, Miyuki flinched slightly.
She remembered that Hiroto had yet to have a proper meeting with the two. And given how sudden the turn of events made her confess to him, it would be problematic to tell her about Hiroto as well.
Miyuki decided to first consult with Hiroto about whether she should tell her parents about their relationship or not.
“I-It’s just for my friend. Her family member was met with an accident recently so I am trying to cheer her up.”
“Hmmm?” It was the first time Yuki heard such sympathetic words from her daughter. Not to talk about, Miyuki got herself a friend—a news, worthy to be celebrated.
However, Yuki wasn’t a naive mother to not notice the subtle blush adorning Miyuki’s pale cheeks and how she was stammering just now.
“Is that so~the how about bringing that friend over today? I would like to meet the person who attained my daughter’s attention.”
The devilish smile on her mother’s lips sent a chill down her spine. Miyuki was aware of the lady’s nature of picking on a lie and digging out the truth.
‘I need to be careful…’ Miyuki wasn’t feeling troubled about introducing Hiroto as her partner…however, this would be too sudden for her parents to accept him. And getting rejected by her parents for this relationship would put Miyuki in a tight spot.
She rather would take slow and steady steps.
“I will ask her if she wants to come over. Then, I will be going Mother.” Extending a graceful bow, the young lady made her way to the school.
A place that didn’t have much of a significant role in her life. Well, until now, that is.

[Hiroto’s POV:]
For the whole last night, I wasn’t able to sleep a single wink. It felt all too surreal that I feared waking up from this dream and finding everything back to how it was before last night.
Shirogane Miyuki, the losing heroine for whom I was eager to reincarnate in this world, replied to my confession last night.
And she said, Yes! She does like me as a man. Not just because I saved her life. Not just because I saved her parents. But, she actually feels something from me other than gratefulness.
Although she might still be clouded by the weight of gratification, it wouldn’t matter as long as she could stay by my side.
‘Haah…is this how it feels to be loved?’ I might have felt ashamed to think such a thing previously. But no longer.
I have always been deprived of love. All my precious lovers in my past life were just those who were necessary to be on my side for the sake of my mission. I never found true love until now.
However, maybe it was because I knew what destiny awaited her, that I fell for Miyuki. Or maybe she was just so captivating that I got attracted to her? Regardless, it was a truth that I wanted to protect that girl and keep loving her for the rest of my life.
“Someone is whining a lot today. Something special?” Hearing Kaori’s voice, I remembered that I wasn’t alone.
Since I went back in time, the events were re-happening from the morning. As such, I need to again pretend to be blind and allow Satomi to forward her letter to Yuichi.
I could already see Satomi a little far away from where we were now.
“Ah, fuck!” I once again, did my brilliant act and covered my left eye.
“Let me see.” Kaori, the nearest person to me, tiptoed and was about to check on my eye.
I could see Satomi, advancing toward us…however, she soon halted upon seeing something…or rather, someone.
“Step aside.” Kaori was startled hearing the cold command arriving from her left before everyone turned to look at the beautiful girl holding a handkerchief.
My eyes widened as I saw Miyuki’s face from this close as she began wiping my eye softly.
I knew that Miyuki would be watching us from somewhere, but I didn’t expect her to approach me at such a crucial time.
….however, seeing such a lovely face and those silver eyelashes from this close, I didn’t dare even breathe as I watched the girl tending me.
Suddenly, her soft voice reached my ears, sending a shiver down my spine,
“I would like to hear your explanation later, Hiroto-kun.”
