The game, ‘Love Stars: Dawn’ adheres to its title of exploring the fresh teenage love of a boy who has lived as an underground fighter for some years after being separated from his family in an accident.

The game was popular for many reasons, like its diverse routes, beautiful female leads, and the overpowered abilities of the Protagonist were the center of why it was so best-selling amongst people of certain age groups.

However, there was one problem with the game. And that was the element of realism unnecessarily added.

If a situation arises where heroin is captured by some goons, and for some reason, if the Protagonist fails to arrive on time, the heroine dies and gets forgotten easily while the story continues. There was no save and undo option so the player had either to restart the whole game or continue with one heroin less.

Many people got frustrated to try again and again since there were so many incidents in the game that they ended up losing one or two harem members, how much did they try saving them? And leaving behind a heroine or two could never leave a good taste at the end of the game.

That was why,

[I want you to protect those girls and help Yuichi-kun build his harem without losing a single lover.]

Hearing the words of the Goddess, I couldn’t help but raise my brows as I asked, “You mean I just need to save those heroines and just that?”

[Yes, and for that, I would grant you a superpower. After all, that world doesn’t have a single essence of magic…but there is something I can give in compensation for taking your life.]

I remained silent…although I was a bit surprised how a Goddess was contradicting her own statement without a break.

Well, who was going to object to some godly skill if there was no compensation to pay? I mean, I already was dead and had no interest in living that old boring life, so I don’t count it as compensation.

[Your skills would be ‘Save and Restart’. Like each day, at some point, you need to draw a single drop of your blood and feed on it while looking at your reflection. That would be your saving point and if you somehow die, you can return and restart from that point. However, it isn’t endless since you can reload a day only once, so be careful.]

I gulped at that for some reason. While I knew the world I was getting thrown into was dangerous and I could somehow handle every scenario if I played my cards right…hearing the specs of the skill made me feel the Goddess was just raising a flag here.

However, there was no way I was going to reject such a generous offer whatsoever. A single chance to relive and start again would be absolutely fantastic.

However, there was something I wanted to ask so I raised my hand slightly to which the Goddess nodded, permitting me to speak.

“If I revert a day and kill myself at that point so can I go another day back? As I die on the 23rd, get back on the 22nd, and just for security measure I kill myself…would I go back to the 21st?”

There might come some instances where I may need to revert more than one day in order to completely prepare for the danger. So I needed to clarify these before I could possibly slay myself in the future.

Well, my long-ass question was crushed with a simple,

[No.]

I sighed before dropping my hand back on my thigh. As I thought, she wasn’t going to make me excessively overpowered.

However, my hopes were re-ignited when the Goddess added,

[However, if I see you progressing well, I may grant you that…or maybe some other skills?]

That put a smile on my face. Until there was a chance of growth or addition, I was all in.

The void remained silent for not more than mere seconds before the Goddess once again spoke up,

[Whatever you do…just don’t let Yuichi-kun get sad, alright?]

Hearing those words, my brows inched higher and before I could hold myself, I asked her,

“Is it, you are also in love with a game character, Goddess-sama?”

Her body froze and her eyes widened before a deep blush crept its way from her neck to dye her whole face.

[S-Shut it! I, the Supreme Goddess of Love, would fall for a mere fictional character?! Not even the minds of thousands of fools could have presented such a ridiculous assumption!]

The way she got all worked up, told me more than what I wanted to know. She was just in love with a game character and she killed me so I could preserve his happiness

I didn’t know the Protagonist’s aura could be such…divine.

Well, there was nothing that concerned me, other than a single factor,

“What about Miyuki? Her routes are all blocked you know.”

Miyuki is the same character because of whom I have destroyed over a dozen phones and my favorite character from the game.

Hearing my query, the Goddess somehow regained her composure before she draped her left leg on the other one and responded,

[Do whatever you want with her but don’t let her come into Yuichi-kun’s life.]

I barely held myself from smirking hearing that.

If Miyuki wasn’t allowed in the MC’s harem then there should be no problem going after her, right~

‘I can’t wait…’ Holding myself from chuckling like an evil, I remained seated as the Goddess finally came down with the last of the topics in hand.

Hearing her question, I pondered for a bit before asking,

“If I am going to make their life perfect, I would end up saving some heroines. So isn’t it possible for them to fall for me in the process?”

Let’s be real. The world I was going, wasn’t like the real world. The heroines I would be facing are those kinds of women who fell for the protagonist, not for his looks or strength, but his nature and kindness.

And by chance, someone ends up falling for me because I do something that the Protagonist was supposed to do…wouldn’t it be like I am stealing a heroine and breaking the harem?

The Goddess smirked at that, indicating that she also had thought about it as she replied,

[Be cautious to reveal your identity and if in case someone comes to know that you have saved them and somehow falls in love with you, just reset the day. I will grant more than one reset in just that kind of situation. Don’t be cheeky tho~]

I found my brows raising hearing that. From what she said, if someone falls for me who is a part of Yuichi’s harem, then I have to go a day back and change that scenario.

Well, love isn’t a one-incident event. It gradually develops, but who is going to argue with her?

I would just try to avoid revealing my identity and try to put the Protagonist in a spot where he could obtain the love of all the female leads.
