(Tsuchinoko is a snake-like mythical creature in Japanese folklore.)

“No… Hinata is just so perfect that I’m loss for words.”

“Is it really that surprising…?”

Wait a minute. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen any mouse in my own house lately either, perhaps it’s also because of Hinata?

While I was thinking about it Hinata started counting down. Tik-tok, tik-tok, tik-tok. Then eventually,

“Buu— Sorry, time’s up. The correct answer is—”

Hinata’s face seems to be darkened a bit.

“Horror films.”

“Ehh, is that so? That’s a little surprising. I thought Hinata would be fine with horror movies since you screamed a lot in the amusement park.”

“T-That’s not true. Horror movies isn’t as fun as amusement parks, I screamed a lot at the amusement park because it was really fun.”

Hinata hugs her slightly shaking shoulder.

“I don’t like the gloomy atmosphere and the sudden jump scares in a horror movie. Besides, they often have sad endings, right? I’m not good at that either.”

“Ahh, that’s true, horror movies often have bad endings.”

I never thought she would be depressed by the misfortune of a fictional character. Is she being kind or serious right now? Probably both.

“Don’t tell anyone about it, okay? It’s embarrassing.”

“There’s nothing to be embarrassed of. It’s common to hate horror movies.”

“But if they find out I’m scared of horror movies, I’ll lose my dignity as the student council president.”

“I want to overcome my fear of horror movies. I never know when I’m going to see a horror movie with my friends. If I don’t overcome my fears of horror movies, I’m sure I’ll scream in the theatre.”

Are horror movies, really that bad?

Then Hinata made an expression as if something had occurred to her.

“Hey, if it’s okay with you, will Yuto go out with me…?”

“Go out…? No way.”

“Yeah, horror movies. I think the best way for me to overcome my fears is to watch them. H-Hey, we are a family, it’s okay to watch a movie together with your sister, right?”

Hinata seems flustered as she waves her hand. What this is all about?

“Yeah, sure. I’m not bad at horror movies.”

“Hinata have always done all of the housework for me. I can at least accompany Hinata to overcome your fears.”

“Yayy, thank you. I’m so happy to have such a kind brother.”

The smile on Hinata’s face seems a little too cheerful. I don’t think that is the face of someone who is going to watch a horror movie.

But, Hinata and horror movies, huh?
