Exiting the appropriate floors for low-level explorers, levels one to five, we stepped into the floors suitable for intermediate explorers, starting from the sixth floor onwards.

As an intermediate adventurer, I took the lead, advancing through the dark sectors of the dungeon.

Glancing sideways, I noticed Arimura and Yotsui wearing serious expressions. Perhaps having passed through the appropriate floors for their levels had made them somewhat more tense than before.

If this goes on, there is a chance that someone leaves and run for their life. Well, I don’t think there is a  concern about them doing that though.

“Nn? They’re coming… Both of you, wait here for a moment,” I said, sensing a presence ahead and stopping my movements.

Several monsters were approaching us together from the front.

If I were alone, I’d charge ahead without hesitation, but today, I had Arimura and Yotsui with me.

I can’t move and act selfishly.

“It looks like a Goblin Leader,” Arimura remarked as the monsters emerged from the darkness.

“Gugugugaaa!!”

“Gigii!”

With their strange cries, the Goblin Leader, a taller and more powerful breed compared to regular goblins, advanced towards us. They were stronger and more agile, posing a considerable challenge to low-level adventurers.

Especially for Yotsui, whose skill was healing and not suited for combat, defeating it was impossible.

Basically, I and Arimura have to fight it while protecting Yotsui staying behind.

“Should I take care of it?”

I wanted to avoid putting Yotsui in even the slightest bit of danger with having them get any closer, so I asked Arimura if I should exterminate the goblin leader as soon as possible.

But on doing so, Arimura shakes her head.

“No, there’s no need for that.”

Her lips twisted into a smirk.

“Arimura…?”

“Ando-kun. You remember how I once said that you’d eventually beg me to join your clan, right?”

“…I – I guess, I remember that happening.”

“Since this is a good opportuinity, let me show it to you.”

“Show me what?”

“My real capabilities.”

Arimura stepped forward and raised one arm towards the Goblin Leader.

“Get Crushed.”

She quietly uttered the command.

At the same time, she clenched her hand tightly in a fist.

Then, a crushing sound echoed.

The heads of the Goblin Leaders were crushed as if by an invisible force, and they fell to the ground lifeless, their bodies collapsing in a heap.

They must have died without even realizing what happened to them.

Even Yotsui couldn’t help but feel impressed, swallowing hard – she looked at the lifeless corpses of the Goblin Leaders.

“So, Ando-kun, what do you think about it? This is my true strength. If you ever want me to join my clan, just say the word,”

Arimura said with a grinning smile on her face.
