- Actually, There’s Someone at Your Workplace Who Likes You ~ I’m Being Transferred to a Sales Office Filled With Only Beautiful Women!?
- Chapter 5: Rinta Is Intimidated By Three Beauties

〈Rinta’s Side〉
The next morning.
It was finally my first day at the Shimizu Sales Office.
I walked from my one-room apartment to the office building near the station. First days were always nerve-wracking. With my heart pounding, I opened the office door.
The office was small, with only four employees, including myself. Apart from the client area, the workspace was compact, with two desks facing each other in a simple, standard setup.
As I stepped inside, I saw three women chatting.
Then—all six eyes turned toward me at once.
—Whoa. The rumors were true. All three of them were stunning.
And not just beautiful—their styles were completely different, yet they were all incredibly well-proportioned.
The department head wasn’t exaggerating in the slightest.
What was this, a talent agency?
Could I really survive in a place like this…?
No, no.
Like I told myself before, work was work—gender didn’t matter.
As long as I acted professionally and did my best, they’d recognize my effort.
“Um, nice to meet you. My name is Hirabayashi Rinta, and I’ll be joining this office starting today. I’ve been with the company for three years.”
I introduced myself, a little nervous.
The tallest of the three women, wearing a navy-blue suit, smiled lightly and responded.
“Nice to meet you. I’m Jinguji Reika, the sales manager.”
She had slightly cat-like, sharp eyes—but undeniably beautiful ones.
When I thought of a sales office manager, I pictured a middle-aged man based on my past experiences.
But this woman was poised, mature, and radiated competence—she was a stunning older-sister type.
No, more than that. Her slender figure and striking features made her seem like a fashion model. Her beauty had an almost unapproachable quality.
I had heard she was 27, two years older than me.
“Manager Jinguji, it’s a pleasure to work with you. I heard you were promoted at a young age—very impressive.”
“Oh my, who’s been spreading such rumors? Well, I do have high expectations, so I hope you’ll work hard, Hirabayashi-kun.”
Oh… It was happening already.
She definitely seemed strict.
Next to the manager, a girl with round, chestnut-colored eyes—half-lidded for some reason—was giving me a sharp stare.
She was the shortest of the three, with soft, wavy hair and an incredibly cute face, almost like an idol… but her expression was seriously unpleasant.
By the way, she had a great figure—big breasts and a slim, well-defined waist.
Ah, no… Not that I particularly cared about breast size or anything.
“Ah, I’m Hirabayashi Rinta. This is my third year at the company…”
“I already heard that. I’m Kosakai Honoka. I work in sales and as a career advisor.”
A recruitment agent’s job was to match individuals looking for a career change with companies that were hiring.
Salespeople handled client outreach, receiving job requests from companies, while career advisors supported job seekers through the process.
“Unfortunately, I’m your fellow third-year colleague.”
Oh, so she was my peer.
That was kind of reassuring.
…Huh?
“Unfortunately…?”
──What was that supposed to mean?
But Kosakai didn’t answer my question. Instead, she lowered her head slightly and muttered something under her breath.
“Ah… All my effort last night was wasted…”
Effort last night?
──As I was puzzling over that, a bespectacled girl with a charming ponytail, standing beside Kosakai-san, spoke up as if trying to change the atmosphere.
“A-ah, Hirabayashi-san! I-I’m Aido Ruka, first year! I mainly handle administrative tasks and assist where needed. N-n-nice to meet you!”
As the adorable Aido-san bowed, her chestnut-colored ponytail bounced slightly, making her look even cuter.
She seemed a bit stiff and not great at communication, but even so, she was a striking beauty. The type you’d call an intelligent, classic beauty.
Looking at all three of them again, there was no denying what the department chief had said. Every single one of them was stunning.
But I had already made up my mind—I wouldn’t let myself be swayed or distracted by that.
I was going to treat them not as women, but as colleagues and fellow human beings.
“Aido-san, nice to meet you. Looking forward to working with you.”
“Ah… Y-yes! Likewise! You’re… Hirabayashi Rinta-san, right?”
“Yeah, Hirabayashi Rinta. Um… is something wrong?”
“N-no… It’s nothing. You have a really nice name.”
“Oh, thank you.”
Since she was only in her first year, she was probably just being polite. But Aido-san seemed genuinely welcoming.
Kosakai-san, on the other hand, didn’t seem all that thrilled about me being here. Though, maybe she was just shy, or maybe that was just how she was.
Well, no point in making assumptions. I’d just take things as they come.
“Alright, Hirabayashi-kun, for today, why don’t you start by getting an overview of the office and the basics of the work from Ruka-chan?”
“Oh, yes. Understood.”
“In the afternoon, you’ll shadow Hono-chan—uh, Kosakai-san—to get a feel for how things are done in practice.”
“Got it.”
“Okay, I’ll be heading out now to visit some clients. I’ll leave things to you two, Kosakai-san, Aido-san.”
“Yes.”
“Yeaaah, sure.”
…What’s up with her? Kosakai-san didn’t exactly seem motivated.
Oh well, whatever.
I’d just focus on learning from Aido-san for now.
“Ah, sorry, Hirabayashi-san. Before we start, I need to use the restroom real quick…”
“Oh, wait up, Ruka-tan! I’ll go too!”
The two women left together through the door.
With the manager out on business as well, I was left all alone in the office.
This whole thing felt like it was off to a chaotic start… but hopefully, I was just overthinking it.
Too bad at least one of them will not return the gesture
