A Chance To Rewrite It All - Chapter 24- Shopping
What was Yuna thinking when she pulled Ryuusuke for a kiss? Well, the first thing that came to her mind upon seeing Miyu was, ‘She is trying to snatch my Ryuu-kun away.’
Yuna noticed how the class rep had been paying a lot of attention to her Ryuu-kun today, which gave her a very bad vibe. And when she realized that Miyu was coming between them—she interrupted their kiss—Yuna couldn’t think of anything but to pull her Ryuu-kun and kiss him…to show that Ryuu-kun belongs to Yuna already.
“…Yuna..that was, really unlike you,” Ryuusuke uttered as they descended the stairs to return to the class.
Yuna nervously asked, “D-Do you not like it?”
Ryuusuke immediately shook his head, “It’s not like that. I don’t mind you kissing me in front of anyone…it’s just that it was all too sudden.”
Yuna weakly held the hem of his shirt as she said, “I felt insecure…and jealous of how close you two were, so I acted on my impulse. Please don’t hate me, Ryuu-kun.”
Ryuusuke was rendered speechless as he glanced at the girl. Her round eyes were moist, and her lips were quivering. Even the fingers with which she was holding his shirt were shaky.
Ryuuske’s heart melted as he held her hand tenderly, and softly told her, “I won’t ever hate you, so don’t worry about it. And if you feel jealous if I am being close to someone in the future, then don’t hesitate to tell me.”
Yuna sobbed, “Won’t I be a troublesome girlfriend to always complain?”
Ryuusuke shook his head, “I will do the same, Yuna. If I don’t like someone around you, then I will also tell you. And it’s quite natural, so don’t worry about that.”
Yuna finally calmed down a little. She was shy about kissing him, not regretful, but she didn’t want to hurt his feelings. However, hearing his words assured her that he didn’t mind.
Yuna was happy.

After school, the students formed groups and went to their desired location to discuss things about the festival. Well, it was a way for them to wind off a little and hang out with friends, but it was a fact that they were quite serious about the festival.
A lot of girls, along with a few boys, who agreed to help the drama group, went to a cafe to discuss their needs for the play and how they would arrange the funds.
“Yuna….did Ryuusuke-kun not come?” One of the girls asked, hesitantly as she found Yuna sitting there with other girls.
The raven-haired informed them with a smile, “He had some work so he couldn’t come.”
Sato, who was also with his group not so far away from Yuna’s group, heard her words and raised his brows.
Suddenly he got up from his seat, urging the others to ask, “What happened? Going to pee?”
Sato rubbed the back of his head as he said, “I forgot about the things my Mom asked me to bring while returning..I need to go.” And without allowing them to say anything, Sato picked up his bag and darted off the store.
‘Important work? That thug? Yeah, why not.’

Ryuusuke, after bidding farewell to Yuna, went to meet the person who would be helping him to buy the equipment needed to build the software.
He was asked to wait at the station as the ex-blond played Tetris on his phone silently.
A few passers-by glanced at him, wondering if the handsome guy was waiting for his date. However, no one approached him except for a certain person,
“You must be Ryuusuke.”
He heard a voice, urging Ryuusuke to turn around and find a woman standing there.
She had short red hair, which she tied in a low ponytail, and wore a pair of black sunglasses. Her aura extruded professionalism, and that smile showed friendliness.
“Hello, yes I am.” Ryuusuke offered his hand which the other one took and introduced,
“I am Nanami Yumi. I will be assisting you in buying whatever you need for your work.”
Ryuusuke thanked her before asking, “Should we call a taxi?”
Yumi shook her head, “Our destination is not somewhere a vehicle other than our legs could bring us. So let’s take the train for now.”
Ryuusuke raised his brows in surprise before urging, “You are the guide; take the lead.”
The woman smiled before she removed her glasses and began walking towards the station.
They were catching a lot of gazes, given Yumi was quite a looker and Ryuusuke was both tall and handsome for an average high schooler.
However, they both were used to getting noticed so they didn’t mind their gazes and boarded the train.
Since there was only one seat available, Ryuusuke offered it to the lady, gaining a smiling ‘thank you’ from her.
There was a brief silence between the two as Yumi was checking something on her phone before she asked, “Did you take any online courses, or were you hired by someone in the past?”
From what she has received from Hiyori, this high schooler named Ryuusuke was developing software that would ‘revolutionize’ the internet or something.
Although she could tell that this guy was unlike any other teenager of his age, given his mature aura, she still couldn’t believe such a young lad was building an app from scratch.
“I learned from someone, and now I am trying to build something out of what I have learned.” Ryuusuke didn’t lie, since he had learned from many people in the last life. However, in this life he has yet to touch a single book related to computer science; telling her that would be foolish though.

Ryuusuke heard something clicking behind him, urging him to turn, only to find it was just a bunch of girls taking each other’s pictures.
Ryuusuke shrugged and took out his phone, before texting Yuna,
[I am going to be busy for a few hours, so rather than texting, call me, okay?]
The reply was instant,
[Mmhmm. Do your best, Ryuu-kun :)]
A smile extended his lips, urging Yumi to ask,
“Girlfriend?”
Ryuusuke casually nodded, which urged the woman to add,
“The way you are smiling, you must love her.”
Ryuusuke heaved a sigh, “Should we focus on work? Look we have reached.”
