A boy raised by a demon king and a dragon king seems to be peerless in his school life.
Volume 9 Chapter 59 The Chosen One《Noah》
Sanctria, a perpetually neutral nation. Situated in the central part of the Kitarika continent, the country has major highways extending in the north, east, south, and west.
Going straight along the road leading north, you reach the demon territory, the road extending to the east leads to the trading nation of Blum and the kingdom of Exadore, while the road stretching west leads to the Vivrania Empire.
Furthermore, the road extending south leads to the law-focused nation of Artemisia and the night dynasty of Elcazad. However, an incident had occurred on that road.
“This outrage… Do you realize who this is? The first prince of Santor, Lord Munf Monmahad!”
A soldier wielding a spear shouted at the man standing before him.
Behind the soldier, a carriage had overturned, and near it stood Munf, a prince of Santor with dark skin.
After the world-famous Grand school festival ended, while on the way back from Sanctria to Santor, the prince’s carriage was attacked by someone. By the way, Santor’s students are still remaining in Sanctria. With much to do, Munf, accompanied by skilled soldiers, was trying to return to his country.
It was clear that the attackers aimed for the prince, considering the assault on them.
The soldiers gripped their spears with determination.
However, in contrast to them, the assailant seemed relaxed. The man, a beastman with horns on his head, was dressed in a black suit and wore a silk hat on his head.
As the man slowly approached the soldier, who was preparing his spear, he began to speak.
“Of course, I know that he is the prince. I came to meet him.”
“…So the prince was indeed the target. Who are you? Identify yourself!”
“Hmm. I have no obligation to reveal my name… but well, it doesn’t matter. I am Noah’s Legion, a chosen servant of the gods. I have come to purge the heretics.”
Upon hearing the word “heretics,” the soldier paled, and fear coursed through him.
Seeing his reaction, Legion smiled knowingly.
“It seems you have an idea. If it were just a few ordinary citizens involved, I might have let them go. But when a prince of a nation intervenes and tries to spread his influence, we have no choice but to act. You could have lived a happy life if you had just stayed quiet. What a waste.”
Legion shook his head in a somewhat resigned manner.
At that moment, Prince Munf, who had been behind the soldiers until now, stepped forward. Naturally, the soldier tried to stop him, but the prince signaled for him to stand down.
With a dignified demeanor, he turned his gaze towards Legion and spoke.
“I had anticipated that engaging in such activities would eventually attract the attention of the Genesis Cult, but it seems it happened sooner than I expected.”
“We are everywhere. Numbers embody absolute justice. Therefore, we are righteous and absolute.”
“Hmph, from my perspective, you are the heretics. I know that your god, whom you venerate, is the one who stole this world created by the great deity. Can one truly have faith in such an evil god?”
“To label our master as an evil god… truly sinful. The old religion must indeed be eradicated.”
“Do not use that name! We are honorable followers of the great deity! We will not succumb to your oppression!”
Shouting, Prince Munf darted forward.
His homeland, the Kingdom of Santor, was a land of “martial arts and dance.” As a member of the royal family, he had been learning Santor’s traditional martial art, “Tenram,” since childhood.
Combining dance and martial arts, the technique had unique movements that an average warrior could not easily grasp.
“Tenram Secret Technique, Dance of the Sun, El Sol!”
He rotated gracefully and powerfully in the air, as if dancing, and unleashed a spinning kick infused with that rotation.
The technique, resembling the Qi Gong technique “Shiranui,” was imbued with high heat due to friction and the power of Qi. The appropriate name for this technique, the Dance of the Sun, struck cleanly in the chest of Legion and sent him flying.
Munf landed gracefully, akin to the finish of a dance, and looked down at the fallen Legion.
“You thought I couldn’t fight because I’m royalty? Underestimated Santor, didn’t you? We’ve expanded our territory through this combat technique. I don’t know where you stand in the Genesis Cult, but… I’m not as soft as an assassin who lags behind.”
With that, Munf declared and turned on his heel.
Behind him, Legion slowly rose.
“Hmm, indeed, it’s a good kick for a rich kid. However… you’re not a warrior. If you intended to kill, you should have aimed for vital points properly.”
Munf trembled as he saw Legion rise calmly.
Certainly, the previous blow had been decisive. Regardless of hitting vital points or not, Munf’s kick could have been a lethal blow no matter where it landed. Judging by the sensation in his foot, Legion’s body was not unusually hard.
Why, Munf wondered, but he couldn’t reach a conclusion.
“I’ll take that.”
Saying so, Munf snatched a spear from a soldier and took a stance.
His stance was formidable.
“You won’t call this cowardly.”
“Well, of course. Do you really think you can defeat me with just a stick like that?”
“Come at me!”
Munf stepped strongly and thrust the spear towards Legion.
The target was the left chest where the heart was. He would definitely finish him off this time. Munf thrust the spear into his left chest without hesitation.
(There’s no resistance—!)
The spear plunged through, pushing aside flesh, penetrating Legion’s chest. An enormous amount of blood flowed down from his chest.
Confident of his victory, Munf grinned, but his face soon turned to one of fear.
“…Well, this does hurt a bit.”
Spitting blood from his mouth, Legion murmured.
Indeed, he looked a little pained, but his voice was steady, and it didn’t seem like the voice of someone who had just been stabbed in the chest.
“Are you immortal!?”
“Immortal… is a bit different. But you probably wouldn’t understand even if I explained to your level.”
Legion kicked Munf’s abdomen, who was holding the spear. Caught off guard, Munf let go of the spear and stepped back.
Then Legion grabbed the spear stuck in his chest with his right hand and pulled it out in one go. Naturally, even more blood spurted from his chest, but he paid no attention to it.
It was not normal. Munf felt a fear he had never experienced before. He should have run away, should not have fought. He didn’t want to die, not in a place like this.
But it was too late to regret now. He had stepped on a tiger’s tail.
“Well then, let’s begin the purge.”
The one-sided act that followed could no longer be called a battle, but a one-sided massacre.

Volume 10 Chapter 1 Summer Vacation
“That concludes today’s class. Everyone, even though it’s a break, don’t go overboard!”
Regas, the homeroom teacher of Z Class to which Ruisha belonged, said so. The classmates responded loudly, as if released, shaking the classroom windows and Regas’s eardrums.
Of course, they weren’t this noisy every day, today was a special day.
“Finally, the long-awaited summer vacation! Hey, Ruisha, do you have any plans?”
As Burn spoke, the magical academy would enter a summer vacation of about a month and a half starting tomorrow. Everyone was enjoying their school life, but still, summer vacation was a joy. They were all eagerly discussing what they would do starting tomorrow.
“I’m planning to head out right away from tomorrow. Burn, do you have any plans?”
“I’m also planning to head out from tomorrow, of course with Merel and Dokabe. You know there’s a huge forest to the east of the royal capital, right? I’m planning to explore that area. It seems like that region hasn’t been fully developed yet, so I’m looking forward to it.”
“Wow, sounds interesting. Looking forward to hearing your stories.”
“Leave it to me. Look forward to it!”
Since there were many students at the magical academy from other countries, a lot of them would return home during summer vacation. However, hardly any students from Z Class would go back home. Whether because they were underachievers, had strange powers, or caused some kind of incident, the reasons varied, but many here had lost their hometowns to return to. The royal capital had now become their de facto hometown.
“Then, make sure to contact me when you return. I might be coming back a bit late.”
“Yeah, looking forward to hearing about your adventures, Ruisha.”
Saying this, Burn left Ruisha. Shortly after, Iris arrived at Ruisha’s side, passing by him.
“The departure is finally tomorrow. I’ve never been to the Artemisia territory, so I’m a little nervous.”
“Well, where we’re going isn’t the Sacred Capital, so you don’t need to worry that much.”
Ruisha and his friends’ destination, the port town of Lasisco, was within the territory of Artemisia, a religious country that believed in the Genesis Religion. The capital of Artemisia, “Adah-Eibm,” was the headquarters of the Genesis Cult, and it was said that over ninety percent of the population practiced the Genesis Religion.
Previously, Ruisha had been warned by Sakurahana, the warden of the Infinite Prison, to “be careful of the Genesis Cult.” So, he tried to avoid getting involved with it as much as possible. However, completely avoiding the Genesis Religion, the most widespread religion on the Kitarica continent, was impossible.
Nevertheless, the Genesis Religion wasn’t openly a dangerous religion. While Ruisha hesitated to go to the deep heart of the religion, the Sacred Capital, the port town of Lasisco was quite far from the Sacred Capital, and there weren’t many fervent followers of the Genesis Religion there. So Ruisha judged that he would be okay.
“I shouldn’t say these kinds of things, but I’m really excited. I mean, who wouldn’t get excited about searching for the treasure left by the legendary Pirate King Captain Bat? I’ve heard about the legend of that Pirate King even in my village. No man would remain unmoved by the treasure left by that legendary Pirate King.”
“A treasure, huh? If we really find it, it could become a good fund for our activities.”
“Iris, you’re practical and reliable… ”
Ruisha and his friends, who had won the Grand School Festival, gained the right to travel across borders. Using that, they had decided to go in search of the legacy left by the hero believed to be taken away by the Pirate King during the summer vacation.
Pirate King Bat was a great pirate who had been active a hundred years ago. Records show he had tremendous charisma and combat abilities, and it’s said that none of the pirates at that time could stand against him.
“However, it’s strange, isn’t it? Considering he was such a pirate, he should have had a lot of treasure, yet nothing has been found, right?”
“Yes, you’re right. There are quite a number of records of his exploits, but surprisingly, details about his end remain unknown. He left saying, ‘I’ve found the location of Treasure Island,’ and no one has seen him since he left Lasisco. There are various theories like betrayal by comrades, being attacked by sea monsters, or peacefully passing away on Treasure Island… but there is no evidence to support any of them.”
“So, in other words, we can’t reach the treasure without solving that mystery. I wonder if we can do that during summer vacation…”
“My colleagues have already gathered some information to a certain extent. It wouldn’t be too late to consider the specifics once we’re there.”
“…Right. There’s no use worrying about it here.”
“Let’s just accept that and move on,” says Ruisha, trying to resolve himself, but his face still carries some unease. Iris senses this and approaches Ruisha, whispering into his ear so that only he can hear.
“I’ve prepared a swimsuit that I think you’ll like, Ruisha-sama. Please look forward to it…♡”
“――――!?”
Surprised, Ruisha moves back and looks at Iris. She blushes slightly and smiles.
“Ah, Iris!? What are you saying!?”
“Hehe, I’m glad to see you cheered up. Let’s find the treasure quickly and enjoy our vacation in high spirits.”
Iris smiles triumphantly. Ruisha watches her and thinks that he can’t compete with her.
