A boy raised by a demon king and a dragon king seems to be peerless in his school life.
Volume 7 Chapter 44 Inherited Will
The descendant of a remarkable hero was born.
This fact had spread even into the demon territory, and Uracan well-informed, was well aware of it.
He also knew that the descendant attended the kingdom’s academy, so he considered it lucky if they were to meet somewhere.
“I never expected you to come to me willingly. My luck is truly terrifying.”
Uracan wore a grotesque smile, its repetition lost to count, as he looked at Sharo.
Feeling the ominous aura, Sharo’s hand holding the sword started to sweat.
“…I may not know the exact situation, but I do know that repulsive demon is dangerous. Leave the rest to me; you should step back.”
While wielding her sword, Sharo said this to Iris, who sat on the ground. Her demeanor resembled that of a knight protecting a princess.
Observing Sharo, ready to risk her life, Iris couldn’t help but wonder about the situation.
“Why… are you trying to protect me? We’re not comrades or friends, in particular. If anything, from your perspective, I should be a romantic rival and an obstructive presence.”
Yes, their relationship wasn’t good at all.
Ruisha and Sharo often spent time together, so they got along on the surface, but they hardly ever spoke to each other alone.
Iris was bewildered by Sharo suddenly appearing, and Iris harbored hostility towards Sharo, the descendant of the hero who had sealed her own master.
If the roles were reversed, Iris wasn’t sure if she would have saved Sharo. She might have just stood there, unable to do anything.
So why? Iris was genuinely puzzled.
“…Indeed, our relationship isn’t a good one. No, it might even be considered bad.”
“If that’s the case, then why…?”
In response to Iris’s words, Sharo answered in a nostalgic tone.
“‘Helping someone in need is a given.’… Those were the words spoken to me when I lost to Ruisha in a previous battle. Indeed, our relationship isn’t good, but what does that matter? As a descendant of a hero… no, as a person, I can’t simply abandon someone in distress.”
When she lost to Ruisha, she wanted to become like this. She wanted to be this way.
Even if it was an adversarial opponent, she would risk her life to protect them. That was Sharo’s firm resolve.
“Is the conversation over? Well then, shall I take care of this side now?”
Said Uracan in a tone that showed impatience.
His two subordinates also seemed like they couldn’t wait any longer.
“It’s quite conscientious of you to wait. I must say, I’m slightly impressed.”
“Hehe, I’m not rude enough to disrupt your final moments of youth. Besides, I have gratitude towards you, or rather, towards your ancestors.”
“Gratitude…?”
“Yes, your ancestors defeated that damn Demon King for me. You have no idea how much I was saved that day! Haha, just reminiscing about that day excites me. It would have been even better if they left her corpse…!”
Uracan spoke with a blissful expression, and Sharo felt a strong sense of disgust towards him.
“…I had thought that all demons idolize the Demon King, but there are types like you too.”
“The populace was deceived by that damn witch. An insignificant little girl like her is nowhere near fit for the Demon King! The Demon King should be someone noble, born into a prestigious family like me!”
As Uracan spoke this way, his eyes were clouded, and he couldn’t focus.
He was deranged. Sharo concluded that it was impossible to reform him.
“It pains me to take care of someone like you… but executing you in front of the citizens will significantly boost my approval ratings. I’m sorry, but I’ll have to make use of this.”
Saying so, Uracan’s subordinates, Urs and Spade, slowly approached Sharo.
Even if they didn’t intend to kill her, she couldn’t expect them to hold back. The murderous intent emanating from the two was enough to make her think that way.
“P-please… escape. It’s too much of a disadvantage against two…!”
“How kind of you to worry, Iris. But I’m sorry. I’m just so fired up…!!”
Breaking free from Iris’s attempt to stop her, Sharo dashed away.
In response, Spade swung his large curved sword. The sword seemed like it would cleave Sharo in two… or so it seemed. Sharo barely dodged it, and with the momentum of her run, kicked Spade’s abdomen, sending him flying!
“Qi techniques, Offensive Style Form ‘Shiranui’!!”
Spade, struck by the powerful kick in his unprotected abdomen, grunted and was sent flying backwards.
“This guy…!”
Despite being taken aback by the unexpected counterattack, Urs swung his fist at Sharo, who had exposed her back.
An attack from an unexpected angle. It seemed like there was no way to evade, but Sharo avoided the attack with a backward somersault without turning around.
“You won’t catch me with such a crude attack! Learn to treat a girl with more care!”
Sharo circled around Urs’ back, unsheathed her sword, and slashed at his back.
Her strike tore through Urs’ rock-solid back without flinching, splattering fresh blood around.
“S-so strong…!”
Watching Sharo’s fighting prowess, Iris couldn’t help but exclaim.
Not long ago, they were evenly matched in strength, but the current Sharo had become incomparably stronger compared to that time.
Her posture seemed to overlap with that of a legendary hero.
“Now, come at me! I’ll take on every pathetic man who raises a hand against a girl!”

Volume 7 Chapter 45 Overwhelming
Urs and Spade.
These two, who are the right-hand men of Uracan, may not possess the Crest, but their combat abilities are considerably high even among the demons.
Urs, blessed with a strong physique, can further enhance his strength by using body enhancement magic, attaining a body akin to steel.
Spade, gifted with exceptional swordsmanship, displays an uncatchable sword speed that overwhelms enemies, thanks to speed enhancement magic.
Despite being excellent warriors with such abilities, they were struggling against just one young girl.
“Quit darting around… Just go down already!”
Spade swung his two curved greatswords in frustration, his face contorted in anger.
Sharo calmly analyzed the trajectory of the sword flashes and deflected them with a semi-transparent shield in a pale peach color attached to her left hand, skillfully maneuvering to counter.
This shield was created through the power of an armband-type magical tool worn on her left wrist. When magical power flowed into the armband, an automatically appearing high-hardness circular shield manifested on her left arm.
This armband was something Sharo had found among the stolen goods of a thieves’ guild, given to her by Ruisha. In other words, it originally belonged to the hero Orger.
Since Orger had used it, its performance was naturally high. However, on the flip side, it required advanced manipulation of magical power to handle, and activating it was possible only for those from the hero’s lineage.
Sharo, entrusted with this armband by Ruisha, couldn’t even deploy the shield properly at first… but after rigorous training, she finally managed to master it.
“Darn it! Why can’t my sword hit this brat!?”
“…Your sword is too full of malice. I can easily dodge such reckless slashes!”
Sharo deftly parried all of Spade’s oncoming slashes. Seizing an opening at his exposed abdomen, she unleashed the flying blade ‘Sakura Hana Hira, Chel Edge’.
“Ugh…!”
Spade, deeply slashed in the abdomen, grimaced in agony, dropping to his knees and collapsing.
Despite being a demon, Spade was slender, and his resistance to damage was low.
“How dare you!”
Furious at seeing his comrade fall, Urs swung a supersonic punch, but Sharo easily dodged it. For Sharo, who had been practicing hand-to-hand combat with Ruisha daily, such attacks posed no hindrance.
Ducking the attack, Sharo sliced Urs’ body with her sword several times. However, Urs’ body was harder than expected, and she could only cut through the surface. Although blood flowed, the wounds quickly sealed, making it impossible to defeat him at this rate.
“Hahaha! With such attacks, the sun will set before you defeat me!”
“…Is only the surface tough, then? How about the inside?”
With a sly smile, Sharo let her right arm hang limp and slipped into Urs’ guard.
Naturally, Urs tried to prevent this with reckless attacks, but Sharo, who had completely read his movements, was never hit.
“Kikoujutsu, Attack Form… Waterquake Neck!”
With her limp arm swinging like a whip, Sharo struck Urs’ chest.
The moment the attack landed, a sound resembling an explosion, “Spaan!” reverberated through the surroundings. Circular ripples spread across Urs’ chest as if a drop of water had fallen on a water surface.
Despite taking the blow, Urs had been standing with determination. However, a few seconds after the attack hit, he suddenly spat out a large amount of blood, rolled his eyes, and collapsed to the ground, convulsing in severe spasms. He was in no condition to continue the fight.
“Now… it’s your turn.”
Having defeated two powerful adversaries in the blink of an eye, Sharo aimed her blade at Uracan.
Her eyes were resolute, her words filled with a strong determination.
The sight of the girl, once tormented by the concept of her own justice, was nowhere to be found.
