A boy raised by a demon king and a dragon king seems to be peerless in his school life.
Volume 7 Chapter 32 Overwhelming
The demons couldn’t conceal their confusion at the sudden appearance of the young boy.
However, they had their pride. They couldn’t forgive being looked down upon by a clearly younger boy, especially one from an inferior race like humans.
“You brat…! Don’t think you’ll leave here alive!”
One of the demons grew impatient and charged at Ruisha, followed by the others.
The bloodthirsty appearance of the demons was grotesque and terrifying. Just a glance at them would make an ordinary human lose their composure.
But Ruisha suppressed his fear with courage and bravely faced the demons.
“Come on!!”
Multiple swords and spears coming at Ruisha. He skillfully avoided them by a hair’s breadth and swung the Dragon King Sword horizontally.
“Raaah!”
That strike instantly tore through the bodies of three demons, incapacitating them. He then moved forward and unleashed a Qi technique, ‘Fire – Double Burst,’ on two demons who were about to thrust their weapons.
The two flames unleashed simultaneously from both feet accurately pierced the jaws of the two demons, cutting off their consciousness.
The demons were left sweating on their foreheads at the spectacular display of martial skill.
“What is this kid!? No matter how you look at it, he’s too strong! Could he be a dragonkin?”
“No, the magic that I sense is human!”
“But even if he’s a dragonkin, this level of strength is unbelievable!”
Dragonkin have slow growth, so it’s not uncommon for them to look like children at first glance while being hundreds of years old. That’s why the demons misunderstood Ruisha, thinking he might be a dragonkin.
(Well, I’ve been taught martial arts by the dragon king, so it’s not entirely wrong…)
Ruisha murmured this to himself.
He had been personally taught not only Qi techniques but also unarmed combat by Rio. As a result, Ruisha’s martial arts were more akin to the movements of a dragonkin than a human.
“Close combat is disadvantageous! Attack with magic!”
At the cry of one of the magical beings, they changed tactics and began launching magical attacks.
Despite being physically stronger than humans, demons excelled in their high magical ability. Merely reaching adulthood could elevate them to the level of veteran human mages. Hence, their magical prowess as soldiers far surpassed that of humans.
Magic imbued with their abundant killing intent was relentlessly aimed at Ruisha—fire, lightning, swords, spears—an intense magical barrage. There seemed to be no room for evasion.
Yet Ruisha began advancing toward the magic as if he were just taking a stroll.
The demons were bewildered by his reckless actions. Was he willing to sacrifice his life? That’s what everyone thought, but the very next moment, something astonishing happened.
“Well, the magic… is being avoided?”
The countless rain of magic somehow didn’t hit Ruisha at all. It was a sight that made it seem like the magic had a will and was intentionally avoiding Ruisha.
Though the demons were overwhelmed by this sight and didn’t notice, Ruisha occasionally tilted his head or paused. By doing so, Ruisha managed to dodge the magic with minimal movement. However, such a way of evading required knowing where the magic would come.
Knowing the future was impossible… but Ruisha had somehow become able to do something similar.
(“This magic… here. Stop here… move forward here. That magic won’t hit, so I can ignore it.”)
Ruisha’s eyes were now capable of completely reading the trajectory of magic. He didn’t even know why. However, since he had escaped the dungeon a while ago, he could occasionally ‘see’ magic.
With this power, he could easily evade forceful magic as if taking a stroll.
“Arrived… and…”
Ruisha boldly approached the demons head-on. Magic was already completed in his right hand.
All that was left was to unleash it.
“R-Run…!”
The demons, frightened by this tremendous magical power, tried to flee. But Ruisha wouldn’t give them such a chance.
Putting all his strength into it, he cast the spell!
“Transcendent Dragon Flame – Vol Draphyr!”
What was unleashed from Ruisha’s right hand was a massive flame in the shape of a dragon, which pounced on the demons without giving them a chance to escape.

Volume 7 Chapter 33 Smokin
“G-ghh…”
Ruisha’s magic had taken its toll, causing about twenty demons to collapse, groaning in pain.
Burns were prominent all over their bodies, but they were not in a life-threatening condition. If Ruisha had cast the magic with full intent, even the sturdy bodies of the demons would have succumbed and turned to ashes, unable to endure.
So, this was a warning.
“There won’t be another chance, surrender quietly,” Ruisha conveyed this not through words but through his actions.
“Will you continue?”
At those words, the demons flinched.
They were battle-hardened combatants, even among the demons, known for their hot-blooded nature. They had stormed battlefields countless times, claiming numerous lives.
Yet, they were now fearful of a boy much younger than themselves. Their minds urged them to retaliate, but their bodies were rejecting that notion.
However, among these demons, there was one who still had some fight left in him.
“How utterly disgraceful! Are you truly proud members of the esteemed demon race?”
While saying this, a skilled mercenary among the demons named Russo appeared before Ruisha.
He was a distinguished older demon, characterized by deep wrinkles and a magnificent white Kaiser beard. However, demons never experienced physical decay, even as they appeared aged. So, no matter how old they might seem, underestimating them would be a grave mistake.
In fact, with age came accumulated experience, making them formidable opponents.
Russo approached Ruisha, glaring at him with sharp eyes. His demeanor was entirely different from the other demons, resolute and unwavering.
“Human brat, indeed you are strong. But that’s all there is to it. To possess such power at your age, you were likely born with tremendous talent. Therefore, experience is something you lack.”
Ruisha muttered softly upon hearing those words, “Talent, huh…”
However, those words did not reach Russo.
“If it’s just a contest of strength, it will be difficult for me to beat you. But how about this?”
Saying so, Russo grinned and pulled out a cigar from his pocket, lighting it with magic.
A sudden break. Ruisha was taken aback, not sure what was happening. But in the next moment, his intent became clear.
“Smoke Mirage Doppelgänger – Mok Argo.”
As Russo chanted the magic, the smoke emanating from the cigar swelled rapidly and soon formed a humanoid figure resembling Russo. The upper body was finely reproduced, but the legs seemed to have disappeared like a ghost. However, being smoke, it floated gently, so the lack of legs didn’t seem inconvenient.
Upon seeing this, Ruisha exclaimed, “Oh, interesting, smoke magic.”
“Using smoke magic, huh? You can wield quite an unusual magic.”
“You can remain composed for now, kid. This magic has slaughtered numerous presumptuous rookies like you,” Russo replied.
Saying this, Russo created two more duplicates made of smoke. Each held a smoke-made sword in their hands.
“Go! My duplicates! Slice him into pieces!”
At Russo’s signal, the three duplicate figures lunged at Ruisha with great speed. Each held a sword in their right hand and attacked Ruisha.
Ruisha evaded their attacks, but the swords, despite being made of smoke, seemed to cut, as they barely grazed Ruisha’s hair. Even though they were made of smoke, they seemed to cut properly.
In response, Ruisha attempted to punch the smoke-made doppelgängers, but they were smoke. They slipped through effortlessly, rendering his efforts futile.
“Heheh, hehehehe! Futile! You cannot shatter my magic with your efforts!”
Russo laughed triumphantly, confident in his victory. Indeed, his smoke magic was a troublesome kind.
Ruisha’s attacks couldn’t hit, while their attacks could. It wasn’t a matter of simple power; that could overcome this magic.
In fact, Russo had slaughtered many boasting about their magical and physical might, thinking themselves above talent, using this magic.
…But Ruisha was different from them.
“I see, the body parts are made of ordinary smoke, and the sword part is created by compressing magic to form the blade. Quite a well-thought approach.”
Avoiding the smoke doppelgängers’ attacks as if dancing a step, Ruisha calmly analyzed the magic.
Just defeating them wasn’t enough. Ruisha preferred to analyze the opponent’s magic and make it his own nourishment in battle.
“Hmm, I see, I’ve got a rough idea now. Well, there’s no time, so let’s finish this.”
Saying this, Ruisha thrust his right index finger into the smoke doppelgänger’s body and exerted force with a sharp “Ei.”
The smoke doppelgänger suddenly froze in place, and then suddenly, with a ‘boom!!’, it exploded and dissipated into mist.
“W-what in the world…!?”
Seeing this, Russo was astonished, eyes wide with disbelief. Despite having lived through battlefields for years, this was a first for him.
“What… What on earth did you do!?”
“Physically breaking it seemed difficult, so I apologize for using ‘magic nullification.'”
“Ma-magic nullification…!? Absurd!!”
It was no wonder Russo was astonished.
Magic nullification was an advanced technique that forcibly nullified magic by infusing opposing wavelength magic into the magic of others.
To use this technique, one needed profound knowledge and understanding of magic, as well as substantial magical skills and extensive experience.
Even for a skilled warrior like Russo, using this technique was impossible, indicating the level of difficulty.
“The demon race’s secret technique said to be usable only by Demon King Testarossa… and yet a child like this can use it!? Unbelievable! Where on earth did this kid learn this technique!?”
“Um, I was taught by Demon King-sama… well, it’s complicated. Just sleep for now.”
Finding it hard to explain, Ruisha swiftly approached Russo and delivered a chop to his neck at an astonishing speed. Russo, who took a proper hit from that blow, lost consciousness and crumbled to the ground.
