Volume 7 Chapter 28 Flash
When Chisha mentioned relying on Ruisha, Kazaha looked at him with an intrigued expression.
“W-What? Is there something on my face!?”
“Nah. I was just thinking, ‘Oh, you trusts Ruisha a lot,’ that’s all.”
“Ugh.”
Caught off guard by an unexpected comment, Chisha blushed and felt embarrassed.
Like Kazaha before, Chisha had initially approached Ruisha because of his short stature. However, over time, Ruisha had become an irreplaceable friend and the most reliable person for Chisha.
“Trusting others is foolish.” This was Chisha’s attitude before entering the magic academy. However, he had come to cherish the time spent surrounded by friends, although he would never admit it, for it was too embarrassing.
“A-Alright, let’s end this conversation! Let’s find Ruisha quickly. I think he was out somewhere having fun with Burn and the others…”
Saying this, Chisha was about to start searching for Ruisha.
Under normal circumstances, finding Ruisha amidst this crowd would be next to impossible. But Chisha possessed Analytical Magic. With this, he could deduce a person’s location from tiny clues.
Fortunately, information about his classmates was firmly imprinted in Chisha’s mind. If Ruisha was within the kingdom, he could quickly pinpoint his whereabouts.
So, just as he was about to activate the magic, a moment later, a red burst of light shot up into the nearby sky, accompanied by the sound of “Whirr, whirr, whirr… Bang!”
Passersby stopped and looked puzzled, saying, “What was that? Fireworks?” But Chisha and Kazaha had different reactions.
“A red flash, which means…”
“No mistake, something’s definitely happening.”
The two of them immediately recognized the light as the result of a makeshift magical device called the “Magic Light Cylinder,” created by Ruisha.
Utilizing the properties of a special plant called the “Magic Color Grass,” which changes the color of its leaves based on the wavelength of infused magic, the device emitted various colors of light depending on the infused magical wavelength.
Ruisha had distributed these cylinders to all of their classmates, instructing them to release this light into the sky in case of any emergency.
By the way, the red light signified “Emergency situation, gather where the light is.”
“We don’t know who activated the light, but let’s go check it out. We’re sure to figure something out!”
Saying this, Chisha was about to run towards the source of the light, tightly holding Kazaha’s hand.
“Ah! C-Chisha!?”
Startled by the sudden handhold, Kazaha blushed and felt her heart race. Unfortunately, Chisha, engrossed in serious mode, didn’t notice such a thing.
“Let’s go, Kazaha!”
“Y-Yes!”
And so, the two of them started running towards the royal castle.

Children with “outstanding talents,” commonly known as “abnormal abilities,” gathered from various parts of the world, as discovered by Prince Yuri.
(Age is indicated in parentheses.)
Ruisha Bardy (15)
A boy from a village with no talent in magic or sports. Trapped in the Infinite Prison by a twist of fate, he undergoes astonishing growth through training from the Demon King and the Dragon King during his escape.
Due to his weak past, he sometimes displays a fanatical obsession with “strength.” However, fundamentally, he is a kind-hearted person. Touched by the kindness of the Demon King and Dragon King who raised him, he aspires to become a “giver” to someone and offer something to others.
He learns various techniques from different people and excels in unconventional tactics by combining them without adhering to specific patterns.
[Abnormal Ability]
Magic directly taught by the Demon King and Qigong techniques secretly passed down by the Dragon King.
An intense desire for strength.
“Charlotte Yuderia (15)”
Descendant of the legendary hero, born with a strong connection to the hero’s power. Nicknamed Sharo.
Having been born as the descendant of the hero, she underwent grueling training from childhood due to a strong desire to be strong. In her age group, she had no rivals, and even adults couldn’t defeat her.
Having spent a long time in such an environment, she was initially prideful of her strength. However, after a complete defeat by Ruisha, she returned to her original kind-hearted nature and became infatuated with Ruisha, who was sincere and straightforward with her.
While she respects her great ancestors, she doesn’t blindly believe in them as she has never met them.
Inside, she’s a typical young girl.
[Abnormal Ability]

Iris enrolled in the academy to extract information from Sharo, a descendant of the hero.
Later, upon learning that Ruisha was the disciple of the Demon King, she became a maid to support him. To be honest, her motivation was also driven by the fact that she found Ruisha’s face appealing and attempted to take advantage of her maid position to make a move on him. Iris stands out even among the generally attractive vampires for her exceptionally beautiful face, making it hard for Ruisha to strongly reject her advances.

In order to make the Z Class plan a success, he consistently deals with the students’ mishaps, often causing stomachaches.

With limited funds, he enrolled in the magic academy known for its robust student support. It’s here that he caught Yuri’s attention.

Volume 7 Chapter 29 Black shadow running through
Chisha and Kazaha were running toward the origin of the shimmering flash that burst in the sky.
In contrast to Kazaha, who ran swiftly with surprising speed despite her small stature, Chisha was running laboriously with heavy steps.
“Huff, huff, w-wait…!”
“What’s wrong, Chisha? Put more effort into your run. We’ll lose daylight before we arrive.”
“I-I’m not… good at moving my body…”
Despite not running a great distance, Chisha was gasping for breath.
Halflings, a small folk, traditionally lived in forests and led a life of hunting. Though their height was only about that of a human child, their agility far surpassed that of humans.
Leveraging their speed and innate dexterity, they moved through the trees, hunting and sustaining themselves with handmade bows and knives. Their skillful hunting scenes earned them the nickname “Forest Assassins.”
However, Chisha, though appearing like an ordinary halfling, did not inherit their agility or dexterity. Instead, he possessed magical talent. Yet, halflings, who struggled with magic, tended to dislike their magical kin. It was only natural for them to reject what they couldn’t comprehend.
“Huhee, hohhee, I can’t go on…”
Exhausted, Chisha felt like collapsing right there. But in that moment, someone caught him gently and held him.
In this place, he knew there was only one person who would do such a thing. With a fluttering heart, Chisha looked up. It was supposed to be Kazaha, his beloved…
‘Kitch, Kitchi!’
No, it wasn’t a person.
A gleaming black body with sharp fangs. Numerous legs too many to count were busy moving around.
It was one of the insects under Kazaha’s command, Mu-chan from the centipede clan. Sensing Chisha’s peril, Mu-chan emerged from Kazaha’s body to gently catch Chisha.
“Th-thank you.”
‘Kitchi!’
Mu-chan happily responded to Chisha’s somewhat disappointed gratitude. Despite the terrifying appearance, it seemed to have an amiable personality.
“Well done, Mu-chan, you’re a good boy.”
Arriving a bit late to Chisha, Kazaha gently petted Mu-chan and said so. Then, seeming to have come up with a good idea, she clapped her hands together.
“Yeah! It’s a great idea if Mu-chan takes us like this!”
“Huh?”
Chisha froze at Kazaha’s words. Although he had interacted with Mu-chan a few times and had somewhat gotten used to it, the centipede, several times his size, was still frightening. Ride on it? No way, impossible!
However, despite Chisha’s thoughts, Mu-chan effortlessly slipped beneath him and easily lifted him up.
“Hey! Stop it!”
“Don’t struggle too much, it’s dangerous! Just resign yourself and hold on tight!”
“S-Stop that!”
In vain resistance, Chisha was placed on Mu-chan’s back, desperately clinging to it as they raced through the city at breakneck speed.
