Chapter 1: On top of the bed

She, Marukawa Haruhime, is my childhood friend.

Our house was right next to each other, and the relation between our parents are also on really good terms.

Right from when I was still a small kid, I would play with her every single day.

“Tet-chan”

Haruhime would call out to me as she layed on top of my bed.

From the point I can remember, she had always called me “Tet-chan”. Haruhime would always call me by this nickname rather than my full name of Sara Tetsugaku.

“Tet-chan, have you finished your math homework?”

“Nope, not yet.”

“The submission date is until tomorrow. You should finish it up properly. Else your grades will once again drop.”

“It will be fine. I will just write down the necessary formula for solving those problems, and that’ll get me a passing score.”

“Doing only that is no good at all. You’ll be walking a tightrope again then… Even though it’s just the last few days we have to attend school.”

Haruhime says worriedly. But I close my eyes regardless without saying anything.

Haruhime is in my room right now.

A desk, a bed, and a round center table were placed in the room, a room that cannot be said to be quite large.

Haruhime calls out to me once again.

“Wake up, wake up. Come on, let’s do homework together.”

“It’s troublesome. I’m feeling tired.”

I was slapped on the cheek.

I reluctantly opens my eyes.

Haruhime was now sitting on top of me.

She is wearing her school uniform. The prescribed summer clothes, that our school changed into just the last week.

The carefully smoothed out, albeit a little wrinkled shirt looked dazzlingly white. It was painful to my eyes.

Her long black hair was also making my skin tingle. Also, since I felt that her panties were completely exposed right now, I immediately looked away sideways.

“Are you sleepy?”

The same blanket that I’ve been using since I was in elementary school, with a brown teddy bear mark on it. I gently put that on and envelope Haruhime with it as well.

My vision is slowly enveloped into darkness.

“……Ah”

My hands extends out and reaches Haruhime. She lets out a soft voice in surprise.

And after that, Haruhime and I started playing sekkusu under that thin fade-out blanket.
