Summary
I can’t believe the day would come when my wife says, “…Today’s the day we sleep together, right?”
I had been in a relationship for five years, but my girlfriend was stolen by a friend, and we broke up. Since then, I kept my distance from love. That was until one day, when I finally became a working adult…
The government had raised the single tax higher than before. On top of that, they offered subsidies just for getting married. Because of this, more and more people started marrying just for the money.
I wasn’t interested in romance either, but to save money, I ended up meeting a woman online who thought the same way I did...
And then, she appeared. The girl from my high school who was called the school’s Madonna.
“Then, let’s get married.”
She said that to me a second after we met. And just like that, we got married. The plan was to live together for about two years for appearances and then move apart.
As we lived together, I started to feel a little affection for her. But she stayed professional, keeping a strict distance between us.
That dry, distant co-living life went on for about a year and a half… and I never imagined we would end up like this.

this is pretty good and should’ve been atleast triple the size because the heroines feelings change too quickly and there’s no build-up at all and stuff.
