Summary

Arata was dumped by Kotoko, whom he had been dating for two years because she found another man.
Arata, Kotoko, her new boyfriend Atsushi, and a group of two high school boys and four girls are summoned to another world as heroes.
Under the guidance of the country, among the heroes diligently leveling up, Arata becomes self-destructive and selfishly learns the skills he likes.
Arata, not wanting to be near Kotoko and Atsushi, begins to act alone.
Although Arata tends to be lonely, he grows with the support of many people.

Honestly, this is actually pretty good; it’s worth a read in my opinion. As a previous commenter mentioned, it may seem like he’s hung up on his ex for a long time, but they dated for years so he actually really loved her and it’s been about 20 days give or take as of chapter 98 so yeah not that long. Looking forward to more.

The world building is better than i expected although this story has that annoying hero trope its still not overdone, i read it until chapter 21 i hope the drama wont become annoying in the future chapter
(TL;DR – Don’t agree mc is a simp, simple entertaining story, give it a try and see if you like it) (If you end up reading the whole thing after this point, its your own fault 🤣)
Not sure why the other comment says the mc is a simp, but I’ve read up to chapter 71 and can’t say I agree. It hasn’t even been 1 month since the mc’s gf broke up with him so no, he hasn’t completely forgotten her already and moved on, quite normal I’d say after someone he loved and has been with for years broke up with him.
Well, enough of that ranting. (too long 😅)
I like the story, it’s been entertaining so far, won’t say it’s a masterpiece or anything but it’s definetely fun to read, an mc that get’s stronger without many realizing and goes on to do his own things, discovering some secrets and developing new relationships. It’s somewhat of a lighthearted story to read simply to relax and have some fun. (This really ened up a lot longer than I though 😂)
