This was a great story so far. Well paced, great characters, the MC was lovely, the protag was annoying as always but has potential to change. Also, I love the friendships in this story. The relationships feel more detailed and realistic compared to many in this genre, where they tend to almost ignore friendships and other relationships entirely. And the interactions between them felt natural and something you’d see in real life.
But the friendships were very wholesome in this. And I’m rooting for the MC and the heroine. These two were apparently friends since middle school, but then an incident happened which caused a rift between them (thanks to the protag). And that tension between the two as a result of what had happened in the past is very riveting.
Oh, and no harem in this, this time. It’s just MC/Heroine. He doesn’t get with any other girl. At least from what I’ve read so far.
