If only Fujiwara wasn’t so violent and arrogant, this would be somewhat enviable.
Last chapter with the x-ray glasses? Sota’s entitled to a bit of fanservice, tied at the hip, literally, with this savage brute who can’t do anything if it doesn’t involve beating it up, especially when she goes out of her way to beat him up for things beyond his control.
Okay, Sota. That was a bit dickish. Flaunting genuine X-ray glasses in front of a girl who is bound to you upon pain of death?
Personally, I wouldn’t mind if Fujiwara drops dead at this point. In fact, if it weren’t for the demon going all senselessly chivalrous at the start, and attacking our dear MC “for not protecting his woman” he would have let the arrogant bitch get disemboweled by the demon noble she foolishly summoned and walked away.
Then there’s the side-story where it looks like our MC is a legendary mage but he doesn’t know it because Fujiwara freaking sealed his memories as “thanks” for coming to her rescue once before and treats him like crap precisely because he is going by the mental programming she put in his head in the first place and just wants to live a quiet life without her.
Eesh!
