What I Fear the Most Becomes a reality…
When I wake up the next morning, Natsumi is sleeping beside me.
My first girlfriend…Natsumi…
I do love her, but at the same time, I start to have doubts about our relationship…
Last night, Natsumi was certainly cute, and I was really excited to do it with her for the first time.
But, did she do all that for my sake?
On top of that, I feel like she was oddly skilled at it…
Natsumi said her roommate was her first time…
However, even though she just did it for the first time recently with her roommate, she was able to do all that?
This is frustrating…is she really telling me truth?
Also, what she said last night bothers me…
I don’t remember exactly everything that happened last night, but when we were doing it, Natsumi said that mine is bigger…
Bigger compared to who? Her roommate? Or…
Is he really the only one Natsumi ever slept with?
To be honest, I want to know, but…
If I ask her about it, she might tell me the shocking truth, and I’m afraid that it will drive me crazy with jealousy!!!
As I’m tormented by these thoughts, Natsumi who was sleeping, wakes up.
“Good morning, Ma-kun♪”
“G-Good morning, Natsuki.”
Because I was thinking those thoughts just now, my voice sounds a bit down.
“Ahh, you’re awful! After you were so excited about it last night, you’re going to act cold to me now that it’s over? Aren’t you supposed to me more gentle with me at times like this?”
She pouts as she says so.
“Ah…I’m sorry. Does your body hurt, are you okay?”
Certainly I have my doubts, but she is right, I need to be more considerate with her at times like this.
I feel genuinely bad, so I quickly check on Natsumi.
“It feels a little bit painful because yours is bigger than usual. However, I did my best, you know?
Again, whose is she comparing to when she says mine is bigger than usual.
However, I need to be considerate and apologize to her.
“I-I’m sorry. Are you okay?”
“Yeah♪ I’m fine. Alright, I’ll make us breakfast then♪”
“Eh? You’re probably tired, aren’t you? We can just grab something from the convenience store for breakfast…”
“It’s okay. We have spent quite a bit of money to move in together. So, I want to do my best and make you something.”
Natsuki said so and start to prepare ham and eggs along with some vegetables for breakfast.
“Yeah, this frying pan is really nice♪ It feels so good to cook with it♪”
Natsumi seems really cheerful as she’s cooking breakfast.
It seems like she feels more homely than I expected.
I have to go to work today, so after I have my breakfast, I get ready and leave the house.
As I’m leaving the front door,
“Have a great day, Ma-kun ♪ Come home soon♡”
Natsumi tells me so.
I can’t help but to feel like we’re living a newlywed life.
“I’m off, Natsuki!”
I cheerfully said so and head to work.
At this moment, I have no idea that this day will become the worst day of my life…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During my lunch break, I receive a message from Natsumi.
‘I’m sorry, I forgot that I have a part time job today. I’ll be back in the evening.’
I’m surprised at her message and decided to call Natsumi.
She answers my call right away, but it seems like she is on the train
She speaks in a whispering voice, sounding a bit annoyed.
“I’m on the train right now, please make it quick.”
“Hah? A part time job? Where is your part time job?”
“At a soba restaurant near XX station.”
(TN: In the raws the author decides to not mention the name of the station.)
That station is near where her roommate lives.
“It’s near XX station!? What if your roommate finds out? It’s dangerous! Please come back! Besides, why are you continuing this job in the first place?”
“The lady I work for is really nice. I can’t just quit that easily. Besides, he is not stupid, so he won’t do anything dangerous. I’ll promise to be careful. I’m sorry, but I’m hanging up now.”
Natsumi abruptly ends the call.
I can’t help but to feel worried of her, I can’t concentrate on my work all afternoon.
I sent multiple texts asking if she is okay, but she didn’t respond to me.
Then in the evening, my worst fears became a reality.
Finally, I receive a message from Natsumi.
When I read the message, I’m utterly shocked.
“My roommate showed up at my workplace. I have no choice, We are going to my parents house now. I’m on the Shinkansen now. Don’t worry.”
