Volume 10 Chapter 20 King of the Seven Seas
Ruisha was astonished upon seeing the king emblem shining on her chest.
“I see, no wonder she’s so strong.”
“You’re quite something too, young man. Could it be you have one too? This king emblem.”
“Well, who knows?”
“Hehe, you’re not in a hurry. I don’t dislike strong-willed men.”
They stared each other down, trying to read each other’s moves.
Both of them anticipated and clashed in their minds multiple times. A battle of masters began even before the swords clashed.
They readied their swords, swallowing nervously. But what broke the deadlock wasn’t Ruisha or Sinbad.
“Get ’em both… kill ’em!”
At Drake’s command, a rain of bullets was unleashed, targeting both of them. Reacting swiftly, they jumped and evaded.
After evading, Sinbad glared at Drake and angrily shouted.
“Hey, Drake! Shooting your own crewmate is truly despicable!”
“Shut up, Sinbad! That kid isn’t really our crewmate to begin with!”
“Huh?”
Sinbad let out a bewildered voice and turned towards Ruisha.
“Is that true?”
“Uh, well, yes.”
Realizing her misunderstanding at this point, Sinbad held her head in her hands, regretting, “I messed up…”
After pondering for a while, she bowed her head to Ruisha.
“I’m sorry.”
“Haha, it’s okay. I’m relieved the misunderstanding is cleared.”
Ruisha had no choice but to forgive her for her remarkable apology.
“Anyway, let’s defeat those guys quickly. That ship is being targeted.”
“Hmm, I’m starting to grasp the situation now. As an apology, I’ll take care of them somehow.”
“Huh?”
Sinbad raised his saber high into the sky.
While Ruisha looked surprised, Sinbad’s pirate comrades began to stir.
“Run! Captain’s going to do ‘that’!”
“You’ve got to be kidding me, again?!”
“Eeek!”
Witnessing this unusual situation, Ruisha tensed up.
Meanwhile, Sinbad paid no attention to what was happening and swung her saber down onto the ground with all her might.
“Take this! Dragon’s Rib Slash!”
In the next instant, Drake’s ship was split cleanly in two horizontally. A ship that had withstood all kinds of rough waves and reckless voyages was torn in half in the blink of an eye.
Naturally, the ship began to sink slowly from the middle. Drake’s subordinates desperately clung to the ship, but eventually, they couldn’t hold on and started falling into the sea one after another.
“You, Sinbad! What the hell do you think you’re doing to my ship?!”
While gripping the mast, Drake shouted. He seemed quite furious, but Sinbad brushed it off with a cool expression.
“Hmph, you won’t give up unless I do something like this, huh? If this teaches you a lesson, you’ll stop your useless misdeeds.”
“You little…! I’ll make sure…”
“Shut up.”
Sinbad shot the mast with her gun, and it shattered into pieces.
Of course, Drake, who was hanging from it, fell into the sea.
“Remember this!”
Leaving those words behind, he disappeared with a splash into the sea.
Sinbad, who remained, said to Ruisha, “Follow me,” and guided him from the sinking ship to her beloved ship. Though still a bit wary, Ruisha stepped onto that ship.
“Oh, sorry to bother you…”
As Ruisha boarded the ship, Sinbad’s crew members watched him intently.
However, their eyes showed no hostility, rather a sense of opportunity.
“Hey there, young man. I apologize for earlier, it was uncalled for. But it’s all right now. Captain Drake has fallen, and the others will likely retreat. He doesn’t have much respect from his crew anyway.”
Upon observation, the other ships had ceased firing and started retreating. Ruisha sighed with relief.
“Now, um, young man, what’s your name?”
“Oh, I’m Ruisha Bardy. Um, nice to meet you, Sinbad-san.”
“I see, Ruisha, huh? A good name. Nice to meet you.”
Saying this, she shook hands with Ruisha.
Her fingers were slender, but the grip was firm and strong.
“I’m Sinbad. My close friends call me Cindy. Nice to meet you.”
With her fiery crimson hair flowing, Sinbad, now Cindy, spoke in that manner.

Volume 10 Chapter 21 Shaky Conversations
“I am Sinbad, the female pirate who conquered the Seven Seas! Feel free to call me Cindy casually.”
“…Ru. What exactly is this?”
“Hehe…”
Having encountered the mysterious female pirate Cindy, Ruisha returned to his original ship, the Seno Tetis.
He introduced Cindy to Sharo and the others, but everyone was taken aback by the sudden appearance of this mysterious pirate.
Furthermore, she was exceptionally attractive, causing Sharo and Iris to feel even more frustrated. They needed to avoid any further appearance of rivals.
Sensing the uneasy atmosphere among them, Ruisha introduced her.
“This person… Cindy-san here helped me. I think she can be trusted, probably.”
“What’s the matter, Ruisha? Don’t use ‘san’ on me. You can just call me by my name.”
“But we’ve just met.”
“Oh, come on. We’ve sweated and clashed so intensely. We’re pretty close, don’t you think so?”
Upon hearing those words, the light vanished from Sharo and Iris’s eyes.
Sensing a life-threatening situation, Ruisha felt sweat pouring down her back. This was bad. At this rate, he might be in serious trouble!
“W-We clashed with our swords, you know! Oh, that was quite an intense battle!”
“Hehe, you don’t have to deny it so desperately.”
Saying this, Cindy giggled with amusement.
“Even if you glare like that, I’m not going to steal. I’m a good pirate, you know.”
“…I don’t know if there’s such a thing as a ‘good pirate,’ but for now, I’ll believe you.”
“Hehe, thanks.”
Amidst the tense atmosphere among the women, Ruisha’s stomach churned with anxiety.
In the midst of this, Cindy took control of the conversation and said, “Well then.”
“Can you tell me?”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“It’s obvious, isn’t it? Why kids like you are in a place like this.”
“…!”
Ruisha was at a loss for words.
This place was the ‘Ship Graveyard,’ rarely visited by ships. It was already strange enough that a ship was here, and even more so that only children were on board. It was clearly odd from an outsider’s perspective.
As Ruisha struggled to find the right words, a certain individual raised their voice.
“I’ll answer that question for you.”
Saying this, the ship’s owner, a merchant named Ford, walked up to Ruisha and his group.
“You…”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you for the first time, Sinbad-sama. I’ve heard about you for a long time. My name is Stan L. Ford. I am but a humble merchant. Please remember my name.”
With these words, Ford lowered his head to Sinbad.
And as he lowered his head and looked at Ruisha, he winked as if saying, “leave it to me.”
“Oh, so you’re the representative of Ford Shipping. I’ve heard you’re quite skilled.”
“I’m honored to be recognized by Sinbad-sama. I believe my efforts have paid off in growing the company.”
Concealing their intentions beneath elegant words, the two probed each other’s true intentions.
“So, in the end, what brought you to the Death Sea Point? Surely not just for sightseeing?”
“I’m scouting new routes. If we can safely navigate near the Death Sea Point, it would bring considerable profit. That’s the purpose of this scouting. I hired them as escorts. You’ve seen their abilities, even though they are young.”
“I see… Well, I suppose it makes sense.”
With Ford’s skillful persuasion, Sinbad halted her questioning.
In fact, thanks to Ruisha and his team’s efforts, this ship had withstood Drake’s attacks. With ordinary escorts, the ship would have been taken over in no time. Drake and his crew were that skilled.
“Have you understood, Sinbad-sama? We will definitely show our gratitude for being saved from Drake and his men. May we part ways for today, given that everyone is tired from the recent events?”
“Hmph, if you put it that way, fine. Let’s call it a day.”
At Sinbad’s words, Ford breathed a sigh of relief. He maintained a resolute demeanor, but the person he was facing was Sinbad, a seasoned pirate. Just standing next to her made one’s legs feel weak.
“Well then, let’s part ways for now…”
Sinbad approached Ruisha Bardy. When she stopped about two steps away from Ruisha, she pointed to a massive barrier stretched across the sea.
“We can somehow deal with that barrier.”
“Is that so?”
“You want to go to the other side of that barrier, right?”
“I don’t really have an interest in going beyond that…”
At this moment, Ruisha realized that he had made a grave mistake.
Tentatively looking at Sinbad’s face, he saw Sinbad wearing a devilish smile, gazing at Ruisha.
“Oh, so you can see it after all.”
The barrier placed on the sea was concealed and not visible to ordinary humans. To an ordinary person, all that was visible beyond Sinbad’s pointing finger was the vast sea. However, once Ruisha recognized the barrier, he saw it as if Sinbad was pointing to a massive barrier, not the open sea.
Sinbad seized this opportunity and set her trap.
“How do you know about the barrier? What is your true purpose?”
“Hehe, pirates only have one goal, right?”
Sinbad prefaced it this way and began revealing their objective.
“Treasure, it’s all about treasure. We’re aiming for a colossal treasure—Captain Bat’s legendary pirate treasure!”
