24. Our first Kiss

It felt like something warm and soft envelopes me. A fresh and cool breeze pours in through my mouth.

A very fresh, like a mint, or some sort of herb, like soy, something very invigorating.

As it blows in again, I am pulled come back into consciousness. Now I remember, I had drowned trying to get Haruhime’s bathing suit.

And right now, someone is giving me an artificial respiration.

It looks like I was able to survive.

“Tet-chan, please! wake up!”

I can hear the scream of Haruhime.

I have never regretted so much about opening my eyes before this. It was Fukuo who was giving me artificial respiration right now.

Haruhime quickly closed the distance to me. Apologetically, she says those next words.

“I, Tet-chan, if you were to die there, what would I even do after that….”

“Haruhime…… was the swimsuit all right?”

“Un. Because Tet-chan happened to grab it that time.”

“…A–ahh, I’m so glad.”

At least it was worth the frantic swim.

While I implied that with a smile on my face, Haruhime had an unusually serious expression on her face. There was a sort of gleam in her eye.

Haruhime continued while choking on her words.

“I’m glad you’re safe and sound, I am really, so glad you’re ……”

Tears spilt out incessantly from her eyes. Her tears flowed down her cheeks going towards the valley between her bountiful br***ts.

It was really a good time since I saw Haruhime like this, it was as if she had returned to being child, crying like that.
